Ironic how Viv says shes inspired by South Park, a show revolving arround making fun of everything and anything under the sun, but this is how she responds to herself getting poked fun at.
@@lucid_3938thats not what theyre saying. Theyre saying that South Park, a show that makes fun of anything or parodying is a big inspiration. But ironically she cannot take it when that sort of broad jokes are targeting forwards her shows
I remember when Alex Kister was being mocked for the amateur way in which he edited faces in the Mandela Catalogue. Instead of throwing a tantrum of Twitter, he made a whole parody video of his own work Vivzie suffers from being too chronically online and having to take every criticism too seriously
In my opinion, since she's always been criticized so harshly and had so many controversies over the years, I totally understand not being able to differentiate people who are just harmlessly poking fun vs people who are actually trying to make fun of her show. If Vivzie prefers not to see people making fun of her show or even just people harmlessly poking fun because she may find it annoying then who cares? All she did was block the guy and she only responded after she was prompted to do so, she didn't do anything wrong here. She's not chronically online because of it nor does it mean she takes all criticism too seriously, it just means that she might not wanna see that kind of stuff because she's tired of her and her show constantly being put under a microscope to find any and all flaws in it. To be honest, I bet you'd hate that too and I think her reaction of just wanting to block the guy but besides that not really wanting to engage unless prompted is perfectly reasonablee.
@@TheDaydreamer777 She is not being put under the microscope, nor was this Twitter post an example of it. Poking fun at cursing might just be the most macro observation of her work. Her work is just as criticized as any other online work out there of the same magnitude. That's why I used the Mandela Catalogue as an example, as people would not shut up about the visuals and the medium of analog horror. Responding to random ass tweets that are very clearly just banter is something that someone with an Amazon Prime show should not be doing. It doesn't make her a bad person, but it shows how MUCH smaller individual creators are a million times better at dealing with criticism than her
It’s been said before and I’ll say it here. Vivzie. Needs. To get. A PR manager. Someone with such thin skin shouldn’t be interacting with people on the internet. (Edit): I want to be clear. I’m not trying to attack Vivienne or say she’s a bad person. If this is how she wants to handle it, that’s her choice and that’s fine. I’m just saying she knows she’s gonna see stuff like this, and if she can’t just not say anything and let it go then she shouldn’t go on Twitter. The back biting and sarcastic remarks only serves to make her look petty and immature and gives people more ammunition to use against her.
She seriously needs to get off Twitter. She’s the reason why she has so much drama in the first place. If I was the creator of a popular show that people enjoyed and poked fun at sometimes, I wouldn’t get on their case about it. I’d simply not interact with it. It’s the same with hateful comments towards said show. In my mother’s own words “Just don’t interact with it. Block, block, delete.”
@@daeflowerr It was honestly poking fun at her and not mean-spirited. Instead of vague posting about it and creating more drama, just retweet it! Embrace the jokes. Trolls will eventually stop with that one because it doesn't get a reaction anymore, every fan and regular people will either get a chuckle or shrug and move on. Makes you open, more approachable and overall more likeable as a big creator. Since she wasn't able to stop herself from doing something, she should have diffused the situation. Ffs, sometimes I wonder how she made it until now after being on Tumblr and Twitter for so long. It's ruthless and everyone knows to be as careful and "clean" as possible if you want to be a creator on it to avoid drama. Even blocking is too much, people on Twitter can't accept it and will drag you for it. Tumblr is a bit more accepting of it. Girl seriously needs to get someone to search her shows and name for her so that she can rt and reply instead of doing it herself and working herself up. It's fine if she wants a more "personal" account compared to the shows' but she needs to understand that she should NEVER search her name. Especially not since she's this popular! She knows she'll see shit she won't like! Did no one around her tell her to stop? She doesn't even create drama around her shows but around HER, and she's her brand. It could become risky if she falls out of favor and wants to create something new or something different. Should her shows ever become disliked for X reason, she'd be more easily screwed because her bad reputation could bit her in the ass.
@@LightBlulyyou know she already had more than 5 Dramas with the Fandom right? TADC Fandom ins't help her either and took proportions way bigger than she expected and that brought some Big to No sense problems to her
As a person who isn’t good with criticism as well, I completely understand how constant criticism can be grating. HOWEVER, I’m noticing that most of Viv’s “dramas” or other things that she’s getting caught in are deriving from Twitter. You are the head of an animation studio, criticism (both constructive and unwanted) is bound to come no matter WHAT you do. But what you CAN do is stop consuming said criticism. She needs to get off of/spend much less time on Twitter. It’s not benefitting anybody and if so much as a MEME can affect you this negatively, then it may be time to call it quits on the bird app.
2:03 i'm also going to jump on this but how much time do you do it will actually ruin the fuel of seeing the same jokes over and over or hearing them it will get boring
Honestly bro is speaking truth, if a MEME post at this point is offending you, you need to realize you are the head of two animation studios and just realize you’ll always receive criticism. She is better off without Twitter as it is very clear she can’t handle it anymore, which is fair.
As a fan of Viv, I can agree that she really needs to take some time away from social media and not feel the need to respond to everything everyone says about her. Responding will only encourage people to give her more hate and start more drama than if she just ignores it initially
Mhhh. maybe one of these days but this i nothing new, having known her before she even was as popular as she is today, she's always in some sort of drama. ALWAYS. unless she growns a thick skin or a PR managment, this is going to keep on going.
She says she’s “taking a break from Twitter” because the backlash she creates is too much at times, than she’s right back on it. Coming from a fan of her work, she needs to get her shit straight
I feel like we could all just be in a happier place if we just stop comparing all the Indie projects being made. like seriously I'm as tired of drama as the next person, but we wouldn't have it if people just - idk man - left creators alone?
honestly animation twitter has been fucking selfish and entitled alot, especially with the invincible season 2 outrage, yeah no these people dont fucking deserve it, then them tryna put indie projects or groups against each other Infact I bet they won't give a fuck if the animation strikes do go ahead next year cuz some people like DreamWorks stans will prob and try and make it about themselves yet again
No? There will always be drama. Vivziepop just doesn’t know when to stop being a fighter and just quit altogether on interacting with every single destructive criticism.
I honestly can understand Viv, I’ve had many times where something has pissed me off and I’ve vagueposted about it in poor taste but I can definitely say it wasn’t appropriate here. No one here is actively being a bad person or anything, but Viv definitely should have thought things through a bit better
She cant be expected to act squeaky clean all the time tho i think she should delete her twitter at this point tbh and use a different account to talk with her friends and co workers twitter is a frustrating place to be in it can bring out the worst in people
I think it would still be funny even without the dig at Helluva Boss because it's just so blunt it's hilarious again, like characters in a YTP saying obscene things they would never actually say. Substituting a word as formal as "ringmaster" with "bitch" is just inherently funny in of itself.
Helluva and Hazbin are clearly written for adult audiences, while Digital Circus is aiming for a broader appeal. The amount of vapid illiterate children in my replies is staggering
Personally still believe they do overuse swears for comedic purposes Edit: damn the amount of weirdo's who are incapable of processing someone might have a different opinion than them is insane , y'all need to pay more attention in school as what I said is entirely my opinion and a simple critique I have I with the show is all, if you like it or think it fits, great! That's what opinions are for.
@@Prince_Mammon maybe but tbh if you do it constant it fits. the key is to set a way things go and stick to it. it would be more off if you overuse it in one or few episodes and than do a few without any.
ADC, is more for teens and young adults where HB is aimed towards an only adult audience. People also forget the setting, a computer game for children vs. literal hell. Of course there’s gonna be a difference in comedy.
Yeah I'm reading the comments and getting confused. They say it's childish to block someone over a meme video, but some of them in the same breath say she should have just ignored it. Blocking someone *is* ignoring it. Or at least, if you're the kind of person who gets bothered by those things, blocking forces you to ignore it. I dunno. I come from tumblr where it's normal to block anyone who's even mildly annoying. Then again, it's kinda hard to get famous on tumblr. Well anyway, time to delete this video from my watch history.
Moreso her blocking the video shows her insecurities and thin skin if anything. If your whole gimmick for humor is to basically be a mix between Seth Rogan, Southpark, and Sausage Party, how can you get annoyed at someone putting a meme about how much your show uses sexual humor and cussing? She also did more than block them, she sent that condescending message towards the person who used the meme. Hilariously her getting butthurt about it only spawned like 30 more videos you can find about “if blank was written by vivziepop”.
Fantastic video as always Iox. I think Vivzie should take a break from twitter. Although she has every right to tweet replies/responses, they end up doing more harm than good and just stoke the flames. The video was genuinely funny, there was no need at all to subtweet about it.
Honestly, I find the complaining against swearing and sex jokes dumb when it comes to an adult animated comedy show. Especially since the swearing isn't anywhere as excessive as South Park, and the humor is comparable to both that and Seth MacFarlane shows. Also, again, this is Hell! Complaints about the sex jokes and swearing in a show set in Hell is just being silly. Plus, that criticism I feel has been over used. Should Vivziepop feed the trolls? Perhaps not, but I get where she is coming from. A lot of time, effort, and passion goes into her work, of all the writers and animators.
@@vivianneclaireId say there just valid complaints or criticism because literally almost every mainstream or in general adult show is just that. Being able to show ove-the-top Gore and make sex jokes and express they can say fuck and that's the punch line- helluva boss actually in a sense ruined the reputation and overshadws some serious shows that try and be something unique-but because it's an adult show all the stereotypes above overshadow them
@@reflection6401 okay, first and foremost, I wouldn't say either Helluva Boss or Hazbin Hotel from what we've seen, is there over the top gore. That is an extreme exaggeration. And as someone who has been watching every episode of Helluva Boss so far, they have plenty of other jokes than just sex jokes. And I have watched multiple different adult animated shows, including American Dad and Family Guy (no I'm honestly not really a fan of the latter), to Rick and Morty, as well as Archer.
Honestly, I think she should just use her social media to promote the show and not make statements like these because more often than not, it makes things worse.
Is anyone else starting to think that Vivziepop may be the source of her own problems, and maybe she's not the innocent victim in her weekly drama everytime?
She’s allowed to block people whose content she doesn’t want to see. I get that she went a bit too far by responding indirectly, but like…. This is kinda a nothing burger that her fans and haters turned into a big deal.
Other than not being able to take criticism, Vivzie’s biggest flaw is that she feels the need to respond and get involved with anyone who makes a critique, banter joke towards her show or says anything rude or disrespectful and hateful towards it. And then it just spirals from a small dumb thing to a ‘drama’. She just needs to get the hell off of Twitter because it’s not doing any good for her mental health. If someone is harassing her and her crew, cast and the show and spreading negative stuff and false information then she needs to get someone to do the communication work for her so she doesn’t have to.
@@AWlpsSHOW36I couldn’t have said it better myself. She seriously just needs to get off twitter and stay on other platforms. Twitter is not a good place for anybody to be on for too long, and Viv’s drama pile will only get bigger the more she interacts with the drama.
As a fan of both shows, that video is hilarious. Honestly, comparing The Amazing Digital Circus to Helluva Boss is like comparing My Little Pony to South Park. Both shows are charming in their own unique ways.
@@liammcgill5270 Yeah, a better comparison would probably be Rick and Morty vs Gravity Falls, but the point is two shows can be completely different and still be good
@@TranswealthyTrillionaire Yea, I agree. Like Spongebob is good, and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is great too, even if they are completely different
As much as we all like to find someone to blame or call stupid in situations like this, we’re all people, people with flaws. So sometimes we give out of proportion punishments to situations where it isn’t usually needed, or if we got slightly threatened or hurt by a message not directly pinpointing you.
Yeah no Viv was definitely wrong in this situation. She has been on the internet making things that people have criticized for YEARS, she should know by now how to not only handle criticism but to handle a joke. But because she can’t handle criticism (that’s why her shows still have the same problems) she knew that this whole TADC meme was a joke and yet she still threw a tantrum over it. Not only causing that person to receive lots of hate and even take the video down at some point. But she just relayed the point that she can’t even handle a joke. Your telling me that someone who has two major shows yet still got mad over a joke is “just a person with flaws”? Yeah no she’s just sensitive.
In Vivzie's defense, she has been under fire from people who want to hate her and her projects for the sake of hating for YEARS now. There is such a large "hatedom" surrounding her work ever since Hazbin Hotel first dropped. I wouldn't be surprised if she misinterpreted the meme as a dig made in bad faith towards her work
Honestly and even so since when it's illegal to block someone just because you got more famous. If I don't like something I'll block it why can't she? Not everyone deals fine with constant criticism even if it's a harmless joke
Exactly, as someone who would probably react the same way… can she really be blamed for expressing her hurt? How tf would you feel if people were constantly dragging your life’s work- and then compare your work to your friend’s???? (Vivziepop and Gooseworx are friends, which I can imagine would make this crap sting even more). Yes, someone is allowed to make jokes, but the subject of said joke is allowed to be hurt by it, no matter the original intention. Medrano is a person with feelings, yes she probably shouldn’t have reacted the way she did, but she’s allowed to be hurt.
Small correction: since *before* hazbin hotel first dropped. The second it was announced people were talking about the audacity she had expecting anyone else to match her artstyle, and surely a number of other things that I've forgotten over time. I agree with the comments suggesting she step away from twit, especially since it's the hellsite it is, but after 4, soon-to-be 5, years of it, I can't blame her for not handling it as well as it could be.
@@randomhuman_05But that's comes with being an author or director or anything really people are going to hate. That's just a natural thing that comes with the popularity. You need to find a way to navigate through it without making yourself look bad.
I understand where Vivziepop is coming from. I mean if you keep seeing the same thing over and over, and keep hearing the same thing over and over, it starts to get grating. Yes it was funny and such, got a laugh out of me, but I can understand her frustration given the recent crap people have been saying about TADC and even Helluva and Hazbin
It was a harmless meme, she is the head of an animation studio. Even if her tantrum was understandable to you, she has an utter lack of professionalism and maturity and needs to stop involving herself in Twitter drama if she can't handle valid takes on her work! She's a grown woman, I know better at years younger than her.
@@MeowtheRockstarcat I get both sides of the situation I, myself, am quite a sensitive person, and I hate to admit that I would probably react the same way she does. I really wish I had thicker skin, I do But also being this sensitive does help me see from her perspective. However, I do agree that she should handle these situations more professionally and should take a deep breath and move on. It’s only a harmless joke As for the swearing, sure, it is a little bit excessive but I think it’s funny. I love Hazbin & Helluva and they both make me laugh and I really do enjoy watching her videos and it makes me sad that people can’t just be respectful and not shit on anyone’s content
Swearing isn’t really the humor in the show, I can maybe think of some occasions where humor derives from swearing, but a lot of the swears can be replaced with hell (which would be pretty funny since that is where they live) or frick. Who knows maybe somebody will make a 4kids remake of an episode of helluva boss.
@@odacova3319 that’s the thing, though. Helluva isn’t even remotely meant for kids. I think it’s ridiculous people criticize the show for its mature style when that’s how it’s supposed to be
She never listens though. That's why she gets the same criticism all the time it's cause she refuses to listen to people and rather get mad cause her precious show got slightly criticized.
this is going to be such a controversial thing to say but every time i hear about Viv's reaction to jokes i have to take a step back and wonder how she has survived this long on the internet. why the hell are you raising such a ruckus over JOKES that arent attacking you as a person?
I don't get why she overeacted over something super harmless. That TADC video was so funny, she really needs to not speak out on every lil thing someone says about her show 😭

I hate ppl saying helluva was written for older audiences, for “adults? Maybe the oldest adult that would enjoy would be like 23, with some exceptions, but the amount of “balls, sex, hehe penis” jokes are the types of jokes teenagers find funny. That’s why so much of the fandom is 13-17
I am adult, I watched few episodes but I just stopped because of many issues with plot and writing. It is fun for one or maybe two episodes but then there's just too much swearing and violence, it gets stale really quick
3:26 minutes summed up: Vivienne has a skin to thin that it's basically made of tissue paper: despite people telling her to grow a pair and live with the criticism and parodies, she continues to throw her toys out of the pram at the slightest mockery or honest criticism. This, among other things, is the main reason why Amazon and A24 booted her from her very own show, Hazbin Hotel.
I think she's a brilliant character designer and animator, but she's not great at much else and there's a lot of valid criticism to level at her shows. I don't like them personally, not funny or interesting to me. Sucks she gets harrassed, I'd guess part of that is that she blows up every time someone pokes her, though.
Why can't everyone, and I mean *everyone* just take a break from Twitter? That thing is basically built off of hate, like, yes there are good things but I feel like a lot of controversies and problems wouldn't exist without people using Twitter. :/
Sometimes I want to believe that all drama, controversy, and cancel culture would finally cease to exist if Twitter shut down, but I know that's sadly extremely unrealistic expectations.
Ikr maybe then she can resolve the million plot points set (obviously I’m joking but it annoys the hell out of me when it happens every single episode)
It’s not if she can not handle criticism now I’m not defending her but people should stop marking vids about how a certain person makes another show with their style it’s honestly stupid sometimes
I think the main issue people have with hazbin and helluva is not the actual swearing and sex references, but that there activity making the story worse.
As someone who watched Helluva Boss I will say I agree. Cause I could get past the swearing even if it's over saturation. But the last episode I've seen was Exes and Ohs just cause of how much the dildo wall joke really broke my immersion on what I felt was going to be an intense character development scene. Like it'd have been fine if it was maybe even moved before the serious conversation or in a different scene entirely, but where it was just basically told me where the cutoff for serious moments in that scene were. If they were timed better or used less often they could be used as enhancements but as it was (I don't know if it still is) it just made it hard to be immersed.
As someone who literally doesnt swear like ever and never had I always recognise swearing super easily even though people around me always swear, sure it can be unessacary but it isnt too over the top its pretty normal especially considering its based in.... yknow hell with majority of adults in an adult comedy show
Beyond a good, level-headed discussion of the situation (of which I do enjoy, even if I didn't know anything about it, I tend to keep off Twitter these days), I do want to make a note that you've got a really nice voice to listen to, especially for commentary. Was surprised to see such a small channel pop into my feed, but I don't regret it. Keep up the good work, and I hope that the algorithm is kind to you in the future.

Of course Vivziepop would think that Seth Rogan is hilarious… also, if she’s so tired of seeing the same general criticism about her shit-shows, why doesn’t she do something to IMPROVE and FIX them??
Because she views that she’s the perfect artist & no one even compares to her. Which is a severe case of narcissism at best & her being a fucking arrogant bitch at worst. She is a fool who won’t take criticism no matter what kind it is, so she automatically gets triggered when even being introduced to the thought. Blocking someone just because they offend you like struck a nerve is totally normal for everyone. Hazbin is Viv’s childhood world & that Digital Circus joke felt offensive to her but apparently, she brought all the cussing & segs to herself & its too late to change now
I feel so bad for Viv. She seems like she's in a consent damned if you do - damned if you don't situation. She doesn't want to see negative posts on Twitter so she blocks peeps - she gets criticized. She engages with negative criticisms of the show trying to explain the choices she makes for her show - she gets criticized. I think they need a PR manager, but regardless if they want to hit the block button because they are sick of the bs, shaming such a thing to me is just ridicoulous.

Look, it doesn’t matter how much “swearing” it has. At least the swearing/sex jokes gives Helluva Boss it’s own identity. When it gets in the way of writing it’s when I draw the line, but people act like it’s the end-all-be-all. And, come on, Helluva has some actual comedy (like Millie turning to the background and hitting an EXACT painting of the background. Shit had me ROLLING), but it’s simply because It doesn’t bother me. I swear ALL THE TIME. And I grew up with Call of Duty lobbies, Madness Combat, Prototype, Happy Tree Friends, etc. I’m a fan of the violence and vulgarity. Sure I’m an even bigger fan of good writing, but that’s a different story. HOWEVER, VIVZIEPOP CANT HANDLE THE SLIGHTEST BIT OF CRITICISM. Good GOD if anyone REMOTELY makes fun of Hazbin, it’ll be the end of her. Jesus Christ.
I can understand Viv basically being on a "Block as much as possible" mindset, especially with how she and her team have had some very....interesting individuals constantly trying to start drama over literally nothing. But at the same time, her blocking a harmless meme and making the guy feel like he did something wrong is childish and her response has big "chronically online" energy.
With Viv, I don't blame her for being exhausted. Fandoms having that much direct access to a creator is exceedingly unhealthy, especially when a parasocial hatedom forms like the one that's latched onto Viv trying to tear her down every other day over nothing. Megachan did nothing wrong, though, it was a cute little joke, and I blame the hatedom for Viv's nerves being frayed. The inverse joke edit vide where every swear Blitz says gets censored the way Pomni does would be funny.
Okay, I respect Vivzie and it breaks my heart she gets so much shit. However, while taking inspiration from Soth Rogan movies or South Park isn’t bad it’s something she should see from a different perspective at times. Because quite a few Seth Rogan films have gotten a lot well deserves flack for their comedy and pacing issues. So, maybe she should look at where people like him have gone wrong and improve on that.
@@MattEditzzz Yeah, if anything she’s probably just trying to find a way to breathe in this sea of hate. She should really try listening to criticism more, but it’s hard to say that when she’s sent f*#king death threats!
1:55 Keywords, “well-delivered”, something I personally think the two shows don’t really do. Their f-word jokes are almost always obnoxious and recycled, which really takes a toll on the already shaky writing. It’s a shame because the shows have cool concepts and very pretty art, it just all gets shadowed by the characters, their interactions and the overall tone, which shifts so fast sometimes, like the shows can’t decide if they want to be primarily drama or comedy. Not that you can’t have both, but you can’t force it. And it’s not like they can’t make good jokes without swearing because they have before, they just choose to focus on the vulgar nature of most of the characters to the point it’s just plain unfunny. And I get that they’re from hell, but that’s not really an excuse when the writers also want you to emphasize and feel for the characters. Are we supposed to laugh at them for their horrible behavior and care about them at the same time? I really don’t know. K bye I love you
This is such a non-issue. It was a harmless joke, but Viv is allowed to find it distasteful or unfunny in the same way that people think the swearing in her shows is unfunny. She responded to it in a perfectly normal and non-confrontation manner by just... removing it from her radar. The person who posted the tweet didn't seem to over-react or use it as a reason to bad-mouth Viv either based on what was shown, so I don't think there's much to criticize when it comes to either party in this situation. They both behaved normally and didn't overreact, and it just seems like the people within their respective spaces are over-sensationalizing it. I could _kind of_ see the problem if Viv had retweeted the video with something rude, or started vague-blogging about the situation right after blocking that person, but she didn't: she only really clarified her stance when people started to push it. I have no doubt she would have just quietly blocked the person and left it alone had people not started to criticize her for it.
As much as I love vivziepop not only is she making drama for people that work with her but she’s also letting random people get to her. Although I’m trying to feel bad it’s getting harder to understand why she takes criticism so personally
She did ignore it. Not once did she interact with him or post about him directly. She only posted after people were constantly throwing attacks at her for her writing style

She also never took a bash at him, just defended herself
Hot Take: Helluva Boss does not have Excessive Swearing. While it does contain a considerable amount of curse words, I think you can find that same amount in the average Australian sentence. In the Victoria state of australia at least, it's not at all uncommon to hear "cunt" or "fuckhead". So I, as someone who has had quite a many years of consciousness on this great wide planet, can confirm that Helluva Boss isn't excessive in it's swearing. (especially for a show that's literally based in hell.) That's not to say though that I think MegaChan's meme was wrong, it was honestly kind of clever.
You're right, it's less that the swearing and other "inappropriate" humor is objectively excessive and more that they clash with the drama the story is trying to tell, people are just really bad at voicing their opinions. They can tell that this style of humor doesn't really work in certain situations but instead of thinking about why it doesn't work, they just jump to the conclusion that it's "too much".

What got me were the comments below the video, not the shitpost itself. Some people were clearly masking their genuine unwarranted hate for both shows by saying stuff like “Funnier than the actual show” or “This is literally the writing style one to one.” I’ve been around the internet, I know all too well people can strip a harmless meme poking fun at a fandom and twist its intention to support their hatred towards it. I also agree Vivziepop handled this rather poorly. It was a light jab, tired and overplayed sure, but certainly not worth the not so vague call out tweet.
"Call out tweet" the tweet was about her. It was defending herself. Not once did she go on the attack. She just said "that's my humour it's not my problem if you don't like it" which is true. And she has the right to defend herself
Viv just showed she can't take criticism. Honestly after her disgusting comment about Scott Cawthon deserving the Harassment he got I don't care for her as a person. I enjoy Helluva Boss not because of her, but because of the cast that bring it to life.
Honestly I agree that the swearing and sex jokes can be too much and it even takes away from scenes sometimes (Such as the dildo scene in the mob boss house). They don't need to be constantly vulgar to tell everyone that they're an adult show. But I also know that it's subjective and while I might not take it as well as others it's not the end of the world. Viz just needs to learn to either go with the jokes or not say anything, she's making things more bloated then they have to be and to be honest if you can't laugh about your own content then that's just disappointing. It just tells me she thinks a little too highly of her work to make fun of the silly bits of it, that or she's gotten so annoyed that she has no self control when it comes to commenting on events. HB has a lot of issues, I still like the show, but her attitude really isn't all that great.
I myself have seen endless amounts of hate online for all of Vivzie's work, simply for the sake of hating. Not constructive criticism, but downright shitting on her projects. It's not too unreasonable for her to get tired of this, and possibly take this video as just another dig. Not to mention the "Too much swearing" argument is ridiculous in the first place, the shows take place in hell, I'm not sure why people expect these characters to NOT swear.
Btw, You're allowed to block anyone you want. no matter what. period. If you want to block someone, do it!! People may whine or get mad, but you're allowed to block people and cut people out of your life.
@@addison_v_ertisement1678 you can block someone for any reason! Including no reason! It's free and legal and sometimes good for your mental health! Like, you wouldn't get mad at someone for blocking a nsfw artist cause they don't want to see that, if you don't want to see a joke you don't like, you can block them and just not see it!
On a more serious note, being an artist is like being a chef- you can be the best chef in the world, but it means nothing if you have no one to cook for. While yes, I would love for creators to be able to make whatever they want (within reason) and just do it, but when you're doing it for both the show itself and everyone's payroll, you need to suck it up and fix things.
Definitely too sensitive. Pretty much everyone found it really funny, and I don't even see it as criticism, just a poke at one of the show's features. This will be her downfall one day.
>"If you don't like it, it's not my problem" >Blocks someone over a meme video Yeah, I definitely agree Vivzie wasn't in the right here, it was just a random meme.
Personally, I have no problem with any swearing or innuendos in media. To me, swears are just words and people need to stop getting up in arms about someone else's vocabulary. We have Freedom of Speech for a reason. In fact, I hear more swearing in day to day life than I guess the people who complain do (I am one who has swearing and innuendos as a regular part of my dialogue as well as in my own creations). Plus, if these people have issues with both things, why are they even using the internet? It's everywhere online.
@C-Lister97 At the same time though, these characters are in Hell. How would anyone expect them to talk if it wasn’t swearing and innuendos (things considered sinful by some people’s standards)?
Honestly, it's completely fine to not want stuff making fun of your creative work on your timeline, I'm sure there was no ill intent from Viv with the block. Also the fact that she owns up to it in response as well and just said "yeah that is my humor so what" is great.
When written down both of those things are okay, and i think if it ended at the block it would have been fine, but vivzie replying to literally every piece of hate or criticism hauled at her is really not good for the health of the show or herself. Seriously, it must just get to her head very easily or something. I feel like she would have way less issues if she stopped playing into her haters so much
To all the whiteknighters: Vivziepop is a *GROWN ADULT* and should act like such. I'm a pretty big fan of her shows but this is where we separate creations from the creator. I used to try and feel bad for her and stuff but it is getting hard to as she is digging herself a pretty big hole here. I do not care how chronically online or neurodivergent people are, not being able to take jokes or criticism (which the video isn't) is something that should not be normalized. Viv needs to get a PR person, get the hell off Twitter, and grow the hell up. These nothing burgers that Viv creates drama out of is pissing me and plenty others off. Again, I love her shows to death and understand where she is coming from, but being able to ignore things would vastly improve her quality of life here.
2:15 This point is so dumb. If EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOUR CHARACTERS swears in almost every sentence, then you have a dialogue problem. Or a problem when making jokes. Or a problem in developing interesting characters. A character can swear a lot and that can be a part of their personality, like it is for Viv (and myself if im honest). However it is way funnier and more shocking when a character that doesn't swear at all drops the most absurdly offesive swear word after a lot of pressure. If almost every sentence in your work has a swear word, it loses its spark and it all feels like white noise, which is what Viv never really seems to grasp. She cannot take any criticism of her work apparently.
Its her sense of humor I wonder why she was so upset. If she wants to stop criticism, I think she should just take a different route with jokes and not overuse them.
I honestly was expecting this to just blow over since it wasn't all that serious of a drama to begin with but the description on vivzie's new video makes me think she's not gonna let it go any time soon..
@Casey838 She has every right to block someone if she doesnt wanna see that kind of stuff but vague tweeting about it instead of moving on just draws more attention to the situation and then she ends up having to defend/explain herself more. Honestly, if she ended it at that tweet I wouldn't be as disappointed as I am but since she mentioned it in a video description of all things days after the situation, idk it just seems very petty to me.
@@AkutoRenAKTR she did block the person that's the point. And people still bitched abt her blocking them. My point is that no matter what vivzie does people will always complain about it. She blocked the person and people said she was overreacting, she responded and people say shes being unprofessional. Legitimately no matter what she does people are going to complain.
@Casey838 it seemed to me that it just more or less still bothered her to the point of tweeting about it and even mentioning it in the video description. I didn't see anything about people saying she overreacted soley because she blocked them. I saw people saying she overreacted after she tweeted about it. I do agree that its gonna end up the same either way with people bitching about it. But in situations like this she shouldn't fuel the fire by engaging with the people who are bitching. She should have just blocked and not said anything about it cause honestly that's the best thing you can do if you really don't wanna see all the negativity.
@@AkutoRenAKTR in the video it shows people saying she overreacted by blocking the person who made the meme video with TADC In a honesty I understand why she made the post. It probably wasnt just TOWARD the TADC video but in general since everybody has said something about it
Vivzie's original reaction to it was perfectly normal? She didn't find that video funny or enjoyable so she just blocked it. Didnt make a hissy fit, didnt say anything else, just silently blocked it and moved on. People need to stop obsessing over every single reaction from someone slightly popular.
I was thinking that Vivienne had grown up in a convent, and from the way she wrote the dialogues she wanted to vent somehow. But apparently, if she says so, she must have grown up in some ghetto in one of the worst American suburbs. In any case, ok, it is hell, but this abuse of swearings is still unnatural, forced, childish and irritating.
Viv definitely is very insecure at this point. It is unfortunate but she may very well continue to lash out to others around her that even just simply joke about her work.
R people not allowed to be insecure anymore. Because if I endured the litteral years of harassment from thousands of people like she has I would be too. She didn't "lash out" she blocked him and moved on. The post she made didn't even mention that specific video she just said "that's my humour if you don't like it then you don't whatever" and she only made that post AFTER he reuploaded the video. He reuploaded it KNOWING she was uncomfortable with it and knowing it was going to cause controversy. Litteral pot stirrer. The only reason we know she blocked him is because he made a dramatic post about it. All the public knowledge of this was either caused by him or the anti vivzie mob that appears in masses when she does anything
1. Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss are adult shows made for a more mature audience, there will be cursing, fetishes, sex jokes etc. Get over it, or we can have bad shows with bad animation and story like Big Mouth if that tickles your pickle. 2. SOMEONE GET VIVZIE A PR NOWWWWWW-
People understand that Hellva Boss is an adult show, but sometimes people also want Hellva Boss to be a mature show and know when to take itself seriously. Since recently the comedy had ruined moments that should have been suspenseful but wasn't due to the comedy
twitter is just a hell hole. Plus id imagine hearing the same joke over and over while probably being stressed about working on two shows is the reason she might over react to criticism. I just say leave creators alone to there work and the drama will end.
honestly if i were vivzie id just lean into it and laugh along with all the jokes being made about my show, sure its tiring but getting mad over it publicly just makes the hate worse. showing that you can roll with the punches makes people respect you more.
People, hot take that shouldn't really be a hot take but most of sensitive twitter seems to think it is. You are allowed, to block people, or content, you do not want to see, on your timeline. I block random people all the time when I don't like their content just to not see it if they're mutuals with a friend or something, it's called improving your timeline, maybe don't cry so much when you see someone use the block button that is there for a reason
Thats Vivziepop’s biggest issue imo, she can’t handle criticism. I get she’s got a lot of hate aimed at her but she’s a creator of something successful. She needs to learn to accept or tolerate criticism if she wants to continue to create Hazbin and Helluva.

Scrimbla Boss when
In my opinion, since she's always been criticized so harshly and had so many controversies over the years, I totally understand not being able to differentiate people who are just harmlessly poking fun vs people who are actually trying to make fun of her show.
It doesn't make her a bad person, but it shows how MUCH smaller individual creators are a million times better at dealing with criticism than her
100%!!!!

However, I do agree that she should handle these situations more professionally and should take a deep breath and move on. It’s only a harmless joke
As for the swearing, sure, it is a little bit excessive but I think it’s funny.
3:26 minutes summed up:
Vivienne has a skin to thin that it's basically made of tissue paper: despite people telling her to grow a pair and live with the criticism and parodies, she continues to throw her toys out of the pram at the slightest mockery or honest criticism.

Vivziepop seems to be a pro at getting into drama, something makes me think she likes it ngl
So no, she’s not doing it because she likes it. She feels like she has to respond in defence of herself and her shows. If she liked it then why did she have this breakdown on Twitter when people harassed her over Ep 8 of Season 1 got delayed due to legal crap, and then leaves Twitter for a hiatus? Keywords, “well-delivered”, something I personally think the two shows don’t really do.

(especially for a show that's literally based in hell.)
That's not to say though that I think MegaChan's meme was wrong, it was honestly kind of clever.

It's so childish and stupid that vivzepop can't even take a little joke
Viviziepop NEEDS a pr manager . It's like an Octavia Instagram account situation, she needs to stop replying to trolls and react ro them😭
I honestly was expecting this to just blow over since it wasn't all that serious of a drama to begin with but the description on vivzie's new video makes me think she's not gonna let it go any time soon..
Tbh she probably would have if people didnt act like she overreacted with silently blocking the dude
@@AkutoRenAKTR in the video it shows people saying she overreacted by blocking the person who made the meme video with TADC
In a honesty I understand why she made the post.
“My name is Caine, I am your bitch” is going to be stuck in my head for months. Thank you Twitter drama 🙏
why does vivziepop have beef with literally everyone holy shit this is getting annoying
1. Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss are adult shows made for a more mature audience, there will be cursing, fetishes, sex jokes etc. Get over it, or we can have bad shows with bad animation and story like Big Mouth if that tickles your pickle.
2. SOMEONE GET VIVZIE A PR NOWWWWWW-
What about South Park and Rick and Morty?
