    ese...
    but also I would personally love to see a cloth simulation/clothing tutorial, your tutorials are very easy for me to follow along with and clothing is something I've personally struggled working with for a while

    I'm fully sold on substance painter. I would love to see you make a tutorial series on your workflow much like you did with the blender character texturing one

    wonderful video as usual. I'm very slowly going through your tutorials (currently on the polymodelling the body) and have found yours the most approachable combined with animation and games economy in mind. Would love to see a clothing physics tutorial, even if it's still going to be a while for me to get there.

    I've always wondered about designing characters for character creators. Do you have any knowledge on how you'd create template characters that can be used for character creation in games? Blendshapable parts of the body or swapping parts?
    I've wanted for a while to know the process of making a base body that could transition between male/female with a slider. This way you could make any character in between and share animations. I'm just not sure what the best approaches are.

      Usually it’s just blend shapes. Swapping body parts is a rigging nightmare believe me

    Dikko! Were there tris left behind when you modeled the shoulder seams with the knife tool + bevel? If so, would those few tris be fine for a full on animation, or would you go for full quads?

    • @Dikko
      @Dikko  9 месяцев назад +1

      No I redirected the edge flow on the shoulders to clean things up. I think that if I didn’t need to subdivide the mesh, I would have ignored the triangles

    Iirc Tattoos are something you really dont want to copy; videogames like sports games with real athletes run into a lot compyright woes because athletes ar allowed to sell their likeness but they don't own the copyright of their tattoos. For future reference public domain sites have lots of scanned in books that have lovely fleurs to copy!

      If I were selling this model or using it for anything more than just for fun I’d probably just design my own. But for personal exploration and stuff it’s just easier to find whatever looks cool and emulate it. But yeah defs would use commercially approved work if I were going to sell this on a marketplace for instance.
