As a Mom to a 32 and a 27 year old, when they get older you are still a Mom. They will still need you and still call upon you. I enjoy cooking for them and sending it home with them. One christmas i got the avril lavigne shirt from Kohls that had the tie attached to the shirt and i wore that till it had holes in it ...truly thought I was just a skater girl. Sarah they sell the wide comfy bike seats on amazon. Looks silly but no one sees them when youre sitting on them...you just have to deal with your partner laughing at ya like mine LOL

Kids leaving is so bitter sweet! It’s amazing to see the succeed at being adults but you miss the little. If you’re lucky they move less than 5 minutes away and they’re your best friend. Enjoy the season you’re in.😘

I don't have any kids yet but it reminded me of when I was younger. Our family owned a duplex where my parents lived on one side and my Auntie and cousins lived on the other side. As life continued, things changed, my parents split up and my cousins moved. Eventually my dad was the only one left at our "family house". When I became an adult, he wanted to rennovate the duplex to make it one big house for me and my brother for all of us to be together and I didn't like the idea. I wanted my own house and my own space to start my own family. Looking back now I realize how much my dad loves me and my brother.💔 He just wanted us all together like back in the day 😢 I love my dad so so much! I can feel the radiating love you have for your kids 💖 I don't think I will ever truly understand that type love until I have my own children 💯 You are the best Sarah!

I absolutely love my kids but I was a mom at 17 and I was always in the hustle and bustle of working full time as a single mom and raising my gurls, so exhaustion took away alot of my feelings of excitement. They are all grown up now and my youngest is finishing up college. So it's definitely an adjustment when your kids become your world.

I miss them so much! Being a Mom is my favorite part of life!! Honestly I feel lost most of the time without them… sorry I know it’s no fun but I was NOT READY!!!! When my daughter left home I was lost for a couple of weeks. Now she’s been gone a year and I am thriving. Found my passions again. Neat house all the time and so much quality time with my husband. It’s bittersweet but more sweet.

I have two kids in their 20’s. It was weird when they moved out. Now I am super proud of them figuring out adult stuff. They also text me how to cook certain mom recipes. Lol. I still have a special needs 10 yr old at home, so parenting is definitely not over for me.

hey sarah...im going through that right now. my kids are 19, 21, & 23. only my 19 yr old is still home but he will be moving shortly. its was devastating at first because my children and i are very close. but my two that moved out still stop by to see me twice a week. but it does get a little easier as time goes on. and you are a strong woman like myself, so you will make it through like a champ.

😢it's very hard when they grow up and leave, I think I cried the first 6 mnths...then you slowly start to do your own thing. It takes a bit, sometimes the house is too quiet. Just enjoy the days, it does go really quickly looking back.❤

I have since found out that they still need me very much, and I still find myself helping them, and hanging out with them quite often. Sometimes too much. I also recommend that you switch the bike seats. Haha

My husband and I have 3 daughter - 2 adults and 1 teenager. They are hands down my bff’s although the 2 older ones don’t live near us we talk everyday multiple times a day sometimes. As a Starbucks employee the recipe for the cold foam is majority of heavy cream, 1/4 of that of 2 % and then the vanilla syrup but I prefer to make mine with nonfat and syrup and I love it more because it’s healthier and froths up perfectly!

try getting a saddle seat for your bike... I got one for mine because my butt always hurt for dayyyyyys after a ride and it has helped.. still hurts sometimes but def not as bad as before and its probably my fault for going on a 10 mile ride 2 times a year with no riding in between.. lol
My two daughters are 29 and 26 and i absolutely hate having an empty home. And i do nothing! Soak up every dang second with them! And keep them home with you as much as you can!
Before my break up. My fiancé and I were talking about buying land and having homes for us, my parents, his parents, his brother and my sister. Like our own little family compound lol.
I know it’s not for everyone but anyone who dislikes being empty nesters and wants their homes filled PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE look into being a foster family. There’s so many kids out there who need love and homes until they find their forever family ❤

Rare is s the only way to eat a steak like that! Plus sear in butter or garlic butter would make it chefs kiss 💋
If you sear it and then finish it in the over you can get a good medium rare, it’s a little harder when it’s thicker to get that perfect cook in a pan
Get a seat cover!! You can get super squishy ones where you can use the whole seat and it a little wider!
