I saw this show in Houston in 2011; definitely top 5 all-time concerts I've seen and I've seen many. Maybe top 3.

How Winwood sounds so damned close - if not exactly the same - as the original recording...God bless him ; EC in great form, band wonderful. Joy to watch !

Thanks Alex. I don't have to tell anyone that Winwood's a genius. And I hope the dude who spray painted on a London wall, "Clapton is god" (64'or 65') is still around today to hear it all. Clapton slays me. He came to Nashville in '78. Only time I've ever seen him.

Unbelievable! More talent on stage than all the rap artist and country stars combined into one.

This is a fantastic version ... and Steve's voice never ages. Just saw two weeks ago with Steely Dan. He sings like he did with Traffic in 1972.

One of my favourite live albums. This song in particular cooks, so much better than the Blind Faith album version or the Hyde Park Concert version. This arrangement they put together at the Crossroads Festival and then kept for their tour just really brings the riff into prominence where it needs to be. Goddamn Winwood sounds excellent this entire tour but when they opened with this it was always incredible. Try shower singing the melody without falsetto... Winwood is the most underrated musician of the entire rock era.

Blame the record companies. Everything, today is image, instead of substance. Profit over the real thing.

The kind of band that Eric originally wanted with Winwood before Baker essentially "forced" himself into the mix/note Clapton's sour demeanor at Blind Faith's Hyde Park concert when Ginger allegedly showed up high on heroin !!!###
