Jesu# H. Christ-I’ve been listening to Slow Hand and Winwood for a long time but I don’t know how this one got by me for so long. The best song I’ve ever heard. What fucking Magic these two make together... There needs to be more of this musical excellence in our world. This is musical gold with some platinum mixed in just for the hell of it. If you don’t like this, you’re fucking dead!
more than 50 years ago, when I was young I heard and bought both Clapton and Winwood at the same time because I liked the album covers. Needless to say I was changed forever...Ruint as my mom would say.
Carlos N …………… 'Ruint' in a good way ! I was 'ruint' by hearing John Mayall's Bluesbreakers w/ Eric Clapton, and took up the harmonica . Pro harp player for 35+ years now .
Steve Winwood is perfect for the part, with his vocal range, but I also miss the sort of almost desperate longing, Whitlock's voice expressed. Clapton also had that much more, originally, but things like that are hard or even impossible to recapture. Very adequate and firm update, though.
These two together on one stage are a powerhouse that will never be replaced!!😊
Can't get enough of this performance!
no one can make a guitar sing like clapton does. one of the best guitar olayers on the planet.
Just love, love, love this performance ❤❤❤😊
Two living legends together. Real music
Jesus...the sound he gets from his guitar on the second solo is frekin awesome!
Winwood and clapton are awesome, just flows so well the two of them!

I agree. Just saw this tonight. Holy Moley. No better than this, and can I say I love Winwoods voice here. So good. And E.C. on guitar. I'm in heaven.
Someone dial 911 this place is about to catch FIRE!!! Good god!!!
thwe two of them cry out their whole soul what more do you want
Clapton on another level..makes it look so simple
Glorious!
does it get any better than this!!!?? InFUCKINcredible!
This is a great show, great they're upbeat. Too bad Traffic couldn't do this when they played with the Dead -
it,s cool i love these guys
Wow this is so great
This song is about being honest, particularly with respect to verbal communication.
most beatyfull
The song starts at 0:07.
The only missing element is that damn SLIDE of Sky Dog!!!
That makes the song

Clapton/ Winwood...does it getting any FUCKING BETTER than that?
Clapton makes it look easy..he owns the guitar
And the voice and the stage
Like this version-very big. EC/Steve took the clutter out, focused on the star power, and came out with better mouse trap.
The drummer is Ian Thomas, the best studio drummer ever.
GREAT GOOGLY MOOGLY!!
Get the Lysol!
Does anyone know know what this is all about? Because i don't! I give it ten thousand thums up! It is one of Eric best songs!
If you don't, then sir...you are extremely fortunate
doesn't get much better than that....
Derek and The Dominos forever!!
Steve Winwood is awesome, but in this music I missed Bobby Withlock.
I'm not saying "Whitlock is better than Winwood".
Steve Winwood is perfect for the part, with his vocal range, but I also miss the sort of almost desperate longing, Whitlock's voice expressed. Clapton also had that much more, originally, but things like that are hard or even impossible to recapture. Very adequate and firm update, though.
I love Winwood - but Whitlock makes this song. I miss him on this.
My gosh, how young was I when I bought
DELANEY
AND
BONNIE
?
I think this song came from Th Individual Self titled album
Derek & The Dominos - Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs
THESE two should have formed CLAPTON AND WINWOOD
They did it was called Blind Faith.
James Meakin Thank you for reminding me. The song “cant Find my way home “ was so powerful and awesome
Whos the original artist that recorded this song? Clapton??
Yep. With his band 'Derek and the Dominos' 1971.
They ordered her not to...its what butters her bread or whatever
