    Doing these exercises each morning to strengthen diaphragm muscles! Important to gaining years of lung health instead of sitting like a lump on a log all day and withering away. Only YOU can take hold of your destiny. No one can do this for you

    At the request of my Pulmonologist I needed Respiratory therapy after having half my lung removed from a carcinoid tumor.
    I found this program online and have only been doing them for 3 weeks but I can already tell a big difference! Thank you for making these available to do at home!

    Well here i am back ay WestPark and lucky enough to be in this new beautiful building, these guy's have kept me up and alive now here i am killing it waiting on a Double Lung Transplant would never of made it this far without all of you, thank you so much for being there and helping me get my life back, i would start throwing out names but your way to many and you know how i forget lol

    I used to do this in 2020 but stopped.
    Back to it now and its day 14 for me, feels great that im actually doing something for myself.
    Sometimes I turn of the sound and watch, i can be mindful about my breathing when im just watching.
    Grateful for this video

    I have been using these exercises for over a year now to recover from pneumonia, pleurisy and lung surgery. Thanks so much, they have been very helpful in restoring my lung function!

    This is great I have COPD I can't walk very far outside. This will save me going to the Gym at the hospital for my exercises.

    Thank you! I did these exercises after my pulmonologist suggested that I do, about 2 years ago. Then I wen back to the gym to do weight training. Now I have a part of my lung removed. 3 weeks after surgery I return to these exercises and I love them as before.

    l was in WestPark the summer before last we were doing these Breathing Exercise's than and i'm still doing them now l swear by them if you want a better way to live with your Lung Problem's this is it. Thank You Westpark

    I’m so glad I found these videos .. I’m on oxygen due to a recent hospitalization diagnosis. I’m hoping to be able to depend on my own lungs again and I watched only 2 videos here and did these exercises. I actually feel more alert and centered! This is wonderful .. thank you so much!

    I have been doing these breathing exercises for about a year and have seen an improvement in my lung function. These are great exercises to clear the secretions from your lungs. Having lung issues for many years, these exercises have helped me extend my walking distance. Thank you for this video!

      It feels backwards to me for stomach to go in while breathing out, and for it go out while breathing in. I don't know if I will ever be able to do this properly. Alls I know to do is keep trying to practice it. But sometimes I think too hard on it and next thing you know I am all backwards again.
      Did anyone else have this problem or is this unique to me.
      And if you did have this issue how did you fix i

      Allen Carr The Easy Way To Quit Smoking book or audiobook on RUclips. I quit cold turkey SIX YEARS AGO!!! I NEVER went back to that horrible habit that gave me this incurable disease. It worked IMMEDIATELY even though he says you can continue to smoke while reading the book. You won’t want to smoke after a few pages. I read the entire book. Happy I did and NOT as hard as they tell you it will be!! If I could do it - you CAN!!!!!

    I have tried similar exercises from other centers but I find this one as best for my breathing difficulty problem. Thanks a lot for this program.

    Thanks. I have been doing these every day in order to help with COPD. Advise all to get a pulse oximeter to measure your %Sp02 and PR bpm to make sure you’re doing okay after each round of breathing exercises. If on oxygen, you may need to increase L while exercising, but ALWAYS check with your pulmonologist!

    I don't understand why my Dr didn't suggest these exercises when she suggested I might have COPD. I'm going to just do these every day and see if I see results.

    Is this exercise safe to practice for patients who are dependent on an oxygen cylinder? Is there an effect on using oxygen or not using oxygen? Do you have to not use an oxygen cylinder when doing the exercise? please respond, thank you

    Breathing exercises should be done with windows open, if possible as inhaling fresh air does make a difference!

    These are good exercises, but the person showing how to do it doesn’t allow enough time for the “breathe out” segment. Blowing out between pursed lips takes twice the time as breathing in through your nose.
