I actually miss Xtra_Slo's uploads. Whatever is happening in his personal life, I hope all is OK. Without most of his videos, I would have been lost on the Evo X platform. Hopefully we see some new uploads soon bro! Even though I am possibly moving on from the Evo X platform, I still love his content.
@@LOSisBEAST2 actually I went to the Ford Focus RS platform and I didn't like it. Luckily for myself i didn't sell my Evo X GSR and I still have it. Sold the Focus RS though. Didn't like it.

there's one popular evo channel where the guy consistently forgets to charge his camera and skips the more tedious parts of an install. Glad this isnt the case here.
Miss your videos man. You've helped me with changing seats with no lights on, drivetrain fluids changes, interior lights and just overall entertainment.
I’m so happy you finally made a video on this, I’ve been stuck on my transmission for a while now with no visual way to see the best way to do it. Thank you for another amazing in-depth video man 🙏
I’ve no need to remove my transmission as of right now, but I have a strong feeling at some point later in the future I’ll have to for whatever the case may be. This video will be my first go to🤙🏼
My Evo has been on jack stands since november waiting on a clutch replacement, this video is pretty much a godsend. Thank you so much for going into such detail!
Great presentation, your engine bay is clean. Even if you just cleaned it before the video, the attention to detail is great. Thank you for this video.
So question on disconnecting the bearing from the clutch …. Did you use a long skinny flathead cause I have one but having difficult removing it but it’s a little thicker .. and when you slide the flat head in between do you hold the fork and twist ?
Hey man I have been watching your videos for a while I have to say very detailed and they help a lot your a cool dude man. What upgrades would you recommend before tunning. I will run stock internals, stock turbo and down pipe. I currently have ETS 4in intercooler, Ets intake, HKS high power cat back, agency power test pipe, and both of my AEM gauges air/fuel and boost which I am waiting on Ortiz to make my cluster pod to install. Any other mods you might recommend before tunning? Thanks man keep your videos coming!
Hey man hope all is good, haven't seen any evo vids form you in a while. I will admit I learned extremely alot from you. I do have a question though, Can I just run a regular battery for the evo x? Live in Pa cold weather on e85. Merry Christmas.
Yeah bro you are the man , you really are the evo 10 plug , I have like 1 million questions for you LOL. Pro I ran my boost controller the exact way you showed me out. And somehow that little press coupling Where it plugs in for the electric under the hood. You have it Tucktaway nice and neat. I ran it through the two plugs the way you demonstrated in that video. And somehow I still come up short. And I have it loose it’s kind of dangling between the wheel wells and firewall LOL. Do people extend that wire or watt? Thanks bro
I recently just bought an 2015 Evo x about 2 weeks ago. I ordered an exhaust for it. I seen people recommending a tune if I put the test pipe as well. Is that really needed? Just wanted to hear your opinion. Love the channel. I watched almost all your videos before buying my evo
help please...... i got evo 10 2 weeks ago, Its hard to get in gear after releasing clutch. While cruising and rolling has no issues shifting gears, once i come to a full stop, lift food off of pedal, press pedal to get in gear and its hard to get in gear. It came with Competition clutch (not sure which one but im guessing stage 2), 80k miles on clock stock clutch master cylinder, its not leaking, i took the pill out, i bleed the system. im running out of options..... please direct me in some direction
What tires are you running on ur Evo? I have an Evo x that I did break in miles last week car is built. Full ets kit, pte 6466, and fully built 2.2L long block with Darton wet sleeves. Expected to make 700 wheel minimum. But I’m not sure what tire to run to maintain traction. I would like to be able to drive the car in the rain still. Its stored for winter so that’s not a concern. I wanted to do r888r but they seem to be impossible to acquire as of now. I wanna run a 265/35R18. Car is on airlift 3p. Any insight would be appreciated.
What are your wheel specs? Yes tires are kind of hard to come by as of right now. I had to settle for a set of Nitto NT05’s (275/35r18) on Enkei NT03’s (18x10.5) and it resulted in a very slight stretch.. Really wanted 285/30’s but only seem to come in r888.
Half moon piece only came on certain years and another type of adapter for others years. In my short shifter install video I talk about that in more detail. We got sent the wrong year one at first for our bushing install portion. Thing the change is 2008-2009 one type and 2010+ the other
Yes that’s true and would have been easier but I wanted to make a direct transmission removal video for everyone. This one was for the people 👍🏼 engine will go back in that way most likely

The beard upgrade gives 25+ more HP 😀
Great vid as always!
Thanks Matt 👍🏼
18:23 my transmission cracked right at that mount, I gotta drop it and see if welding is possible. If not I need a whole new case 😭
Hi, have you done a video on changing wheel studs? Was looking for a tutorial for extended stud install. Great channel and TIA!
Couldn't you use a hoist from the top to help hold the weight of the trans and disconnect it that way? Being under a heavy trans doesn't sound fun.
Why did you stop posting videos after this?
Full send bro never lift 😏🤙ty for the video you putting jacks transmission/dog box in? 🤔
We’ll find out soon the new set up!
Where are you brother ,are you up for some evo repairs I need some work done .

I need help with my sst can't find any videos on removing the sst
Can you do a engine removal guide!
I just switched to amsoil signature series. Should I still change every 2500 miles?
Hope your doing well
Update?
Is this guy on another youtube channel with his Evo X builds or he stopped his YT activity forever?
So do you still pull the output shaft from the transmission in an SST? or is that just in the manual trans?
How do you take the transfer case out properly?
Nice detailed tutorial, would you ever do the TCase relocation mod?
Thanks, I think you mean AYC relocation. only plan on that if a customer is in need.
@@xtra_slo1596 Yup that's what I meant, to the trunk.
@@xxraverxxonxtacy Not to say I wouldn’t one day but as of now gotta be a customer wanting it and I’d for sure film it

If i need to swap the AT transmission to manual one, do i just have to drop the AT and install the manual, is it plug and play?
