My father was a Country 'n' Western singer and when he sang< "Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain", no matter where we were, I got up and danced with him while he sang that song to me. I was blessed to have him for a little less than 44 years of dances! Kind of funny, but he wouldn't dance with any of his wives (3 of them); let alone to that song. My mother of course didn't mind, but my stepmoms didn't like it at all! There would be all these women trying to come up to him and have him sing to them while dancing with him; but he never would. I started dancing with my dad on stage when I was only 3 years old. God took Daddy Home, but when I hear, "Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain", it takes me back to the love my dad had for me. I am not bragging, I am just so happy someone else got to learn of Willie Nelson and most of the band was his family, I even was blessed to see Willie Nelson and his family at Red Rocks Amphitheatre here in Golden, Colorado in the 1980's! He knows how to make us cry, laugh, and think! Glad this young man found out just how great Willie Nelson really is! Most people don't know that he wrote a lot of songs that other singers would sing to. He is truly a legend!
Willie is the man !!! So many great songs...Angel flying too close to the ground.....On the road again.....Blue eyes crying in the rain.... Seven spanish angels.....the list goes on and on
He's a country superstar. He has an unmistakable voice and style as well as being a super talented writer ("Crazy" among others). Many artists swear they'll "never smoke weed with Willie again." And Willie has recently had given up smoking for his health (at 80something). The guitars' name is Trigger and it has a history all it's own.
@Nicole Jessica It's cool seeing them perform in the live version, but I really wish more people would react to the studio version. It's not that their voices are necessarily better in the studio version, I just think the compositions and styling of the vocals/lyrics is better.
"Request: Seven Spanish Angels" Such a Beautiful Reaction Jayvee♥️ Willie Nelson has a voice that no one else cannot imitate or even come close to. Love a Lot of Willie Nelson's music. Saw him in concert here Colorado and he was Awesome!!
You should look up "Highway Man" by The Highwaymen....it was a group formed with Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, and Kris Kristofferson. Their super group helped to start the "Outlaw Country" movement...
If you like Willie, go on RUclips and listen to the full album "Red Headed Stranger". It's only about 40 mins long. One song goes into the next and tells a story like you are watching an old Western movie. My favorite country album ever and always ranked in the top 10 country albums of all time. It's a masterpiece
I saw Willie Nelson live for the first time in Odessa, Texas in 1974 , I believe. My husband and I have been fans since we first heard him sing sometime in the late 1960s. He's about retired now, but the good music he and his compradres have produced in this world will surely buy his ticket to heaven when he goes from here. God bless ya, Willie~
I've said it a hundred times, this is music. It's someone on stage playing an instrument and singing. It's not the computer-generated, auto-tuned, crap that they call music today. There's no comparison.

Willie Nelson's album Red Headed Stranger is a concept album about a fugitive on the run from the law after killing his wife and her lover - this album is arguably his greatest achievement. Great music and an amazing story.
Thanks for picking such a great performer as Willie Nelson! He lives 'Just Down The Road' from my home in San Antonio. You should give a listen to Pancho and Lefty if you get a chance.'
I adore Elvis Presley's version but this is next level, the emotion just gets you...Willie's version of 'Blue Eye's Crying In The Rain' is on the same level....
