I argued once with my Fekh teacher who accused me with infidelity and asked me to apologise and show regret. Other ideas of the afterlife like higher, greater realms/ realities are much better. Not to mention that it does not make sense as spirits are not physical and don't really have a sex/ gender.

It just means that Islamic morality is relativistic. There is no concept of good and evil. All the rewards in heaven were once considered "Najas from shaytan"(devil's filth) but some that same filth is a just reward for the best of mankind.
"Good" and "evil" are both subjective terms and mere opinions, therefore, morality is pretty useless when it comes to creating a world without most of the experiences we have today. We should concentrate ourselfs on 'what is actually True' instead.
