      @@OxanaCrafts I actually completed it and am satisfied. I did have difficulty attempting to twist the single wire at the end. I broke the wire but it was long and I still had enough to wrap around. 😀

    I really like this design and appreciate the way you show how to do it! I tried it and it kept wanting to close in together. I guess I need more practice! I even got the clamp to help-- and it still wants to close in together. Maybe it's the way I'm wrapping over the base wires. I am pretty new at this wire wrapping craft!

    I love your tutorials so much that you are the 1st and maybe only craft channel i will subscribe to. Rio Grande is closed today on sunday so i cant live chat. Do you know if they sell square copper wire in amounts less than 1 lb spools? I want to try wire wrapping but don't want to spend $40 on one spool. Thanks again for your videos!

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  Год назад

      I think they just sell the 1lb spools, but there are a lot of re-sellers that will sell off smaller amounts on Etsy and Ebay so you could get some that way

    Do you ever do silver or silver filled? Love your video. You are so talented and lovely to share your talent and techniques. I would not mind doing copper but don't want it to tarnish.

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  Год назад +1

      Yes I use sterling silver often when I'm making jewelry to sell, you'd just use the same exact sizes and gauges as with the copper. I just use copper in my tutorials because I don't want someone to try making a design for the first time using an expensive wire like silver, always good to practice it first with copper.

      These are super tiny beads, 2mm only. Things may look bigger especially if you are watching on your computer or on full screen, but in real life the beads are extremely small
