  • Using teardrop shaped cabochon stones I create multiple pendants using 3 base wires of 21 gauge square bare copper with 21 gauge half round for the binding wire. I switch up each pendant with 3 different design elements & add patina at the end to demonstrate the versatility of creating with a simple 3 wire design!

    This was super helpful, thank you! It gives me some great ideas for how to finish off my pendants instead of the same old boring swirls.

    Hi, i wanted to know how you figured out how much wire to use for your base wires?

    • @karensintuitivejewelry
      @karensintuitivejewelry  4 месяца назад

      Typically what works is measure the wire around your piece & then add 2-3” more for the bail & if you mid-measured 🤣
      Once you get used to it you’ll know just by the size of your stone (or piece). Most times anywhere from 9” - 11” is perfect for me! I hope this helps! Thx so much for your interest & support! 🙏😊💖

    Very nicely done video showing your technique and the wonderful products you end up with. My only minor complaint is the music is too loud and it kind of buries your narration somewhat. I'd rather hear what you have to say than hear the music in the background. Otherwise very good job!

      Thank you for your compliment & constructive criticism on the music! Please remember that I am very new to all things RUclips & this was an earlier video! The sound when you’re editing your video is MUCH different then the final edit which is a total bummer!!! I have since learned to have the volume very low (setting #1 believe it or not) during editing which is a perfect volume once video is finalized! So much to learn! I prefer a soft music background instead of ALL the sounds of people’s environment such as stomach growling, children yelling, papers crunching, etc 🤣🤣🤣. Again, thank you!
