You are the only one on RUclips who actually tells you hacks on how to keep the wire in place. I watched a lot of videos on RUclips but still couldn’t weave as my wire wouldn’t stay in place. I have been looking to learn this style of wrapping for so long but couldn’t find any tutorials. Thanks a lot
I used this wire wrap for a large opal cabochon that I gave to my mother in law as a gift. She absolutely loved it. The design was perfect as it still allowed the sides to show through so you could still see the opal sparkle. Thanks so much for sharing this design. Take care 😘
I'm very excited to have found your channel! At this point I'm binge watching your videos before I jump in and give it a go on my own. I really appreciate the time you've taken to create your videos to share with us. Your teaching method is fantastic! I can't wait to watch the next video! Thank you so much!
I love that you're so careful as to make the back of your work look as lovely as the front and everything is as perfect as can be. Thank you for the video and for sharing your awesome creative talent with us. You're a gem!
Yay! I finally got this bezel to work for me! Making the groove in the weaving wires before you set the cabochon in is the key. Thank you for the wonderful instructions!
Thanks for the video. I have a friend in a 12-step program that wants a secure way to attach his 20-year medallion to a necklace,. Now I know how to do it with wire wrapping. Thanks Again, Randy C.
I had been trying to learn how to do a few different wrapped wire jewelry pieces, but this is the first time, I feel confident I will be successful. Your tutorial is easy to follow while the pattern isn't too difficult.... but looks fancy! You are a wonderful teacher! Thank You
Marvellous tutorial. I now know how to do the inside "curl" properly by cutting off a little bit at the end, where previously mine looked like pearls!! Thanks very much.
Your wire work is very pretty and very precise. I am afraid mine would never look so "polished". I enjoyed watching and may try this once I get my courage up. The bracelet weaving with beads seems more my level, but I love to watch and learn! One thing I will take away from this video that I can use again and again is the cutting off the tip of the wire for making a more perfect spiral circle. You are the first to show me that. It makes great sense and your spirals all match! Well Done!
Ok, I've watched A LOT of these tutorial videos, and this is by far the best one. Thank you for this! You have a great way of explaining and showing the techniques that others just don't do.
I have watched a lot of your tutorials and found exactly what I was looking for once I discovered you and your videos. I have 4 years of Graphic Art's & many other mediums in art, including making stained glass for 15 years. I am a perfectionist & always try to find others who are have high expectations in the work of art to be the best possible. You are the one who I continued to find high standards in each price you made! I am so pleased to find you & each of your videos! I am also using gems & wire wrapping you showed me in st glass pieces. Your wire wrapping in Tiffany lamps? I will send you pics , steps for adding what I learned from you & finished Tiffany's, & so must more. Love you and your work!
Great video! I am pulling my hair out trying this. It's practice, practice, practice. I'll probably have to watch this 10 times. I get the first wrap now. Mine was so loose. I need wire wrapping for dummies! Lol! I didn't have a clamp. Hard to do without it and look neat. Great idea. I'll gets this sooner or later. Thanks for the video!
Your crochet hook method is why your edges are not gone “every which way but straight” like mine keeps doing ~ 😂 ~ such a simple method and now that I’m thinking about it ~ it’s also a common scenes method too ( I just don’t have any of that😂) ~ thank you so much for your help and advice ~ very very much appreciated!!❤
I was afraid to try this out...but I have a lovely pink quartz crystal that I believe that this wire wrap will show-case. Thank you for your clear instructions!
I recently found a tool called a jewelers ring clamp, before I was using a clamp like yours!! I got a ring clamp though and it’s amazing! It has leather lined jaws and it has a vise tightening type deal on it and I can tighten it to any wire and it holds it nice and tight without scratching the wire at all! It’s so neat! Thank you so much for your video, I have been doing my wrapping all wrong! I was attaching the base/back to my top weave pattern after both were complete and I don’t like it at all because the connecting wires go over the pretty wrap I made on the front and it just looks messy! I’m going to start using my clamp and wrap them all together!! Thanks so much!! This has been the most helpful video I’ve watched this far 🤣
This is beautiful and you explain and show each step so well there is no confusion. I love the suggestion of the Spring Clamp. Thanks for making this and posting!
Teresa Barker I agree. Wire wrapping can sometimes look messy and unprofessional. it's not the case with this necklace, it looks very clean and beautiful
Teresa Barker ; morning Teresa, Happy to hear you've had a changed feeling on wrapped jewelry, their is great looking pieces in wrapping; if done correctly like these tutorials, I dabble in this area & nice.. Happy Watching n wearing, & have great day!!!
I love loved the way you did this step by step video I can say from one crafter to another I'm now your biggest fan. Thank you for being so detailed simply amazing.
I really appreciate your channel. One thing I have found is that I'm going to have to get a lot more precise with my work. I've attempted to make one of your rings that went all wonky. You are very talented.
Beautiful pendant. Thanks for such detailed instructions, esp. about using the clamp to keep the base wires a consistent space apart. Anxious to give this design a try.
Loved this tutorial! Directions are so clear and easy to follow, I just want to go off and make one of these pendants right now! Thank you so much for sharing this with us...
I love this so much, but I’ve tried twice and both times the base wires moved around so much (despite being in a clamp) that the wires that crossed over to the other side either moved the base wires together or got scrunched up. Will using a larger gauge for the base wires help?
You are one of the most amazing jewelry instructors on U tube. Thank you SOOOO very much for sharing so much of your talent. I have tried many of your tutorials and I am improving everyday. I am no ready to try this one!! Again you are amazing!!!
Amazing! What a terrific and functional design! You did a terrific job creating and explaining every step! You are very detailed oriented, which makes a great instructor! Well done! Thank you for sharing!
This is a great tutorial. I love the design as I have been looking for a design to for a triangular piece of Brazilian jade that is about the same thickness of cabachon used in the tutorial. Many thanks on this...still watching 😎👍
This is beautiful, Christina - and solves a problem I've been trying to find a solution to for several years! I have a *huge* pear-shaped crystal, cut like a diamond, that was sliced open along the culet, hollowed out, partially filled with smoky topaz and pearl beads, and then sealed back up. I haven't been able to find anyone willing to risk drilling a hole in it for stringing, or to wire-wrap it with gold-filled wire (they wanted to do 14k or copper or silver) because I haven't had any idea how to do it, and I also haven't wanted to do or have anyone else do the typical wire-woven bezels because they all seemed like they'd cover up too much of the stone. This bezel is especially perfect because I'll be stringing the stone with triangular-shaped smoky topaz briolettes! I'm going to probably need to use closer to 26g wire, and have to figure out a much smaller bail, but I think I know how to do that. In general, I really prefer these more minimal wire wraps, especially with stones that have pattern to them, because I really like to have the stone itself highlighted. I just want to cry at so many I see where people do all this fancy, swirly wrapping all over the place that pays no attention to the stone itself, and ends up burying the beautiful patterns of it beneath a web of totally extraneous wire. The workmanship is often gorgeous, but why buy a stunningly-patterned stone if that's what you want to do?
This is lovely work! You have made the video & your instruction very manageable. I might be able to do this! You are now my go to site, CS! Thank you ❗️
Thank you soooo much! You have made wire wrapping look so simple and I love that you don't cross over your cabochon to hold it in like so many other videos...I can't wait to try this! Hugs...
Thank You So Much CSL Great Tutorial.. Love 💕 Your Channel.. I have learned a lot from Your Channel.. Truly Appreciate You For Sharing.. I'm New at Wire Wrapping, Weaving.. I'm totally Enjoying it..

Thank you so much for sharing this. I really Love this design and the other one like this that is the figure 8 weave. Your a good teacher as well. Thank's so much. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
By far, the VERY best wire wrap tutorial I've found on RUclips. I like how you get straight to business, and have no useless filler banter, or chit chat. Just a very thoughtful, and thorough explanation of each and every step, and why you do it, without blocking the view with hands, or moving it out of screen. Thank you. Subscribed. Is that a tumbler I hear in the background? Makes me wanna go find more stones. :)
I like this design a lot. The stone is framed clearly without lines criss-crossing around. Very pleasing. Great tutorial! Thank you!
Absolutely fantastic tutorial! So many details and patiently going through each step! Thank you!!
You are so thorough, best instructor on RUclips by far.

I love the look. Especially for really cool stones that have a lot of color or designs on the sides😊
Great tutorial!!!
Very clearly and slowly explained. Really invokes confidence that the viewer will be able to do this as well.
