    Thank you, Oxana! Another well-done tutorial. 👏🏼 I made this pendant. It's one of my best pendants so far. I refuse to sell it, and I wear it quite often!

      1:29 I have never been aware of the art of wire wrapping. I started out watching a male get stones from the dollar store and galvanized wire. You can imagine how awful this mess was.
      Then I discovered your channel and I am hooked. I have made a few pieces using agates. The square copper wire and the half round copper wire. My family thinks that I have some talent.
      I have a long way to go before I can make my wrapping look as good.
      Thank you for being so sweet to share this with us beginners.
      You are a great teacher 😊😊😊

      Take a couple of cabs and start with an easier design to get used to the feel of the wire, tension, using tools so you don't become frustrated by the complex swirls in this design. I have a very special polished crystal I have been looking for a setting I love and this is it - but I need to learn a few basics before I attempt to make this one so I don't waste time or wire, get frustrated and quit.

    You do great work! I am watching and trying to learn before actually trying this myself. I am wondering how well do the ends of the wire you cut and tuck in underneath stay in place? They look like they will stay in place very well, if I would have difficulty in getting them to stay are there any tricks to help? Thank you!

      Carolyn, I used to think that, too.💖 I found that using scrap pieces and just trying the different techniques she teaches throughout her video was JAW-DROPPING inspirational to me!
      Holding and shaping it myself, trying it, and SEEING HOW it works in MY hands...
      I've always ended up running through the house with each one, saying:
      "Look at THIS! I did IT!"
      Pretty soon I had enough understanding and confidence to try a whole project.

    Can you demonstrate a wrapped pendant that is an irregular shape. Like an asymmetric triangle with uneven edges? I found a piece of a shell on the beach that I want to wrap, but it's not shapped like any of your videos.

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  Год назад

      You can wrap irregular shapes in the same way, you would just bend the wire frame to go around your shape. Here's a video I have for an irregular shape: ruclips.net/video/KMOs0D8Y9OI/видео.html
