I’m not a fan of the busy swirly wire wraps so I love this design! It’s beautiful in its simplicity. Thank you so much. I always get inspired when I watch your tutorials.
Stunning in a wonderfully minimalist look. I also love swirls at times, especially when they are kept to a minimum, but this is my real preference. You’ve done it again. Your creations are just fabulous. By the way, I think this style of wire wrapping is also a perfect match for a stone that is a bit “busy.” Thank you so much for all your tutorials. We are very grateful to you.
I love this one and today I had a go at it. I have a hard time getting the six wires to stay lined up when getting ready to start wrapping the bottom of the bail. I ended up using 2 small plastic clamps to hold the wires in alignment, 1 on each set of 3 wires. It helped me so much! I haven’t tried wire wrapping in at least 6 years, and only did a few then. Your tutorials have inspired me to have another go and this is the second of yours I’ve done now.
Dear Oxana, thank you for sharing your tutorial! I love your design and although I already make jewelry and work with wire a lot, I am still experimenting (struggling?) with the decorating of pendants. Your video certainly educates me on how to deal with that aspect of wire work. Thank you again!
How gorgeous is that! There's a time and place for some spirals (not too many) and a time for elegant simplicity. Thank you so much for sharing your expertise.
I really like this one. Wow! I can see a whole set made from this pattern. Thank you for sharing your time and talent. Be happy, safe and stay healthy 😷⚒
A fellow wire wrapper share the link to the and I am in love with it. I followed the tutorial fairly close on the first one but the second one I did with a triangle stone and a few small changes and I Love it. Tried to share a picture of it but couldn't
I so love you are so clear. That you tell us what kind of wire, where from, what kind..( dead soft, square, rio grand, ) can you give inches please? You are the best instructor. People can actually follow along, and make a beautiful piece of jewelry. I love having new pendant at work. Thank you so much
I measure the wire with a ruler in the video and give size in inches, and I also list it in the info box of video. Here it is: 3 pieces of 20 gauge square wire, 14.5 inches long each 24(or 22) gauge half-round wire(no need to measure and pre cut, just keep it on the spool and use as needed)
Been wanting this type of tutorial as I much prefer a streamlined look to the swirly one. Looking forward to trying this out. Can this be done with just round wires as well?
Thank you! You can do it with round wires (but you can't do the twisted look since round wires don't do that), and it is just a bit trickier with round wires.
What is your hints for keeping your square wire perfectly straight? I have not worked with dead soft square but will be in the future. I like the classic look of this wrap.
do you think I could try this design with round wire only? I really can’t find round and half round ones in European websites and ordering it from the USA is quite expensive. Thank you in advance!
yes you can, there are a few things that need to be done slightly differently if using round wire. Here's a video where I did a caged pendant with only round wires, so you can see how there needs to be weaving on the bottom portion and on the bail. ruclips.net/video/0ZdiKFsLPgM/видео.html
I wish I could send you a pic of a cheap necklace I picked up at a thrift store.. but it's a pressed fake piece to look wire wrapped.. I'd love to learn how to make it. ( It's pretty Simplistic.. but really pretty. Is there any way to send you a pix of it so mabe you can do a tutorial and make something real simar or a private lesson I can pay for that mabe you can make something similar? Thanks!
If it is not actually wire wrapped chances are it may not be possible to do a wire wrapped version. I'm also not really great at replicating things, I mostly just grab the wire and see where it takes me.

I love your tutorials and your designs! I’m curious if anyone recycles their wire scraps. Any thoughts?

I like to use a cloth or nylon pliers to straighten it before I cut it
Simply beautiful

My pleasure!
Very nice great instructions, do you come up with your own designs.
thank you, yes I do
Can I use round wire? I’m having trouble keeping the square wire straight.
yes you can, I find the half round still is easiest for the bail though
Beautiful 💗💗
Thank you! 😊
Great 👍🏿 👌
Thank you!
So pretty !!
Thank you!!
Hi, im from Italy.
Where i find this wire squared?
Thanks !!! Congratulazioni!!
I but it online from www.riogrande.com they are in USA but ship internationally, I live in Australia so I do the international shipping
Can it be done using round wire or it has to be half round?
If you use round instead of the half round I recommend 26 gauge size
Do you have like patrion? Or something? I can't afford much, but I'd like to give what I can thank you for sharing your talants
Aww thank you! I have RUclips memberships (it is the Join button on bottom of video)
Very pretty ❣❣❣
Thank you!
Will this still work with round wire?
It might be a bit tricky to do with round wire, if you were to try I'd use 26 gauge round for the thinner wire

Love the look of the twisted square wire. It adds a flourish, but much more streamlined than swirls. Not a fan of the swirls…
Thank you!

Protip: close your eyes when you're trimming little bits off, otherwise it's a copper chip to the eyeball :D
oh no, I hope that is not from personal experience!
