Just wanted yo say thank you. It was this video I watched to wrap my very first pendant. It was perfectly executed. I now have confidence in my own abilities
Also my first pendant, just a day or two ago.
Great!
@@myfloridalife2651 one of my first pendants this day
Was my first a few days ago! She makes it so simple I tried as tried then saw her videos and saw that there is square wire and dead soft and it’s so much easier once mine finally came in! My cabachons were just way smaller than advertised 🥲
This was exactly how a guided tutorial should be! You explained literally everything you were doing and made it very visible as to where you were moving your wires to and where you were turning things
And you made it clear as to why you made every bend/curl, thank you for this!
I am going to use this to attempt my own wire wrapping for the first time :)
Me to, this is the first video ive watched where ive not been lost & confused. I think I can definitely attempt to do my first wire wrapping project now :-)
Yes I feel the same way
A first rate tutorial! Exactly how it should be. No music, thank god! Clear, good camera work, GREAT DEMO. It solved the mystery of how these pendants are wired up and was fascinating to watch. Tools explained, technique shown and most importantly, what WIRE GAUGE and softness DEAD SOFT. I was not sure how soft the wire had to be. Marvelous! New hobby coming up. A big thank you, Oxana!
Thank you so much!
One of the best beginner tutorials with full camera views that I have seen. The good lighting is much appreciated also! Thank you for going slow on each step for clarification for us newbies!
Your videos are always really interesting, thank you so much for sharing. I just wanted to pass on a tip that I thought was great from the book "Wirewrapping: The Basics and Beyond". To figure out how much wire you need, measure the circumference of your stone, double that measurement and add 2 inches for the bail. So if the circumference of the stone measures 2.5 inches, doubling that is 5 inches, plus 2 inches for the bail comes to 7 inches. You would then cut each strand to 7 inches.
Just a tip...keep making your awesome videos - the wirewrap world needs you.

I love the discreet self quote. Great book and advice btw!
Thank you Jim I was about to comment that it was a great tutorial but it would have been helpful if we had the size of the cab she used so that we could make adjustments as needed
Any more books you recommend? 📚
Not only are you an expert/professional artist, you are an excellent teacher. Your videos are so good, and your instructions are amazing. I think I could actually learn how to do this, step by step, by watching your videos. Thank you for the time and attention you give to every detail. Excellent job with the video as well as the instruction.
Thanks so much 😊
Thank you so much Oxana. I gave up wire wrapping years ago because I didn't have a good teacher and I found it too difficult. I have recently decided I wanted to donate to a charity for adult survivors of childhood abuse. The only way I could do that was to somehow make money. I came to the conclusion that I could make jewelry if I could learn. So I heard about you and low and behold I'm doing much better because of your teaching !!! You make things so clear and easy to understand!!! Thank you again!!!
You make this look so simple, even though I know it is not. Thanks so much for taking the time to teach those of us who really want to learn.
Nice! Thanks. I use mostly tumbled rocks that I find on the beach, so having a design that works for fatter rocks really helps.
behing kinda poor this year im gonna do a pendant for my gf and this video is helping me alot thanks
I’m a very beginner beginner but I saw your miniature tree of Life pendent & being a nail tech I work on small scale. I have to say you make it look so easy. Your wonderful at how you teach what your doing. I can’t thank you enough for your videos. I’ve been enjoying them & have been trying several. It’ll take me a lot of time for them to come out the way I want cuz I’m a little ocd on perfection. Lol. I just had to tell you that I so enjoy what you share & enjoy trying to do it. So thank you. I can’t wait to look at more of your tutorials now that I subscribed to your channel. Thank you again.
😮🤔🤓I think you just showed me one that “I” think I can manage to do- and you explained it in what I call “ laymen’s” terms- THANK YOU SO MUCH 💖💖ed this!!

I have watched three times-more beautiful each time. Thanks for sharing!😀😀❤️❤️
Please continue making videos like these. Your detailed, yet somehow simple, explanations and description is unique to the other online tutorials. Just made my first one, looks great!!
Loved your gracious and patient instructions. Just what I needed to learn being a beginner at wire wrapping and now excited to create something new! Thank you so much. Thanks to Jim too on how to figure how much wire one needs for their bail. You both were kind in sharing your craft tips with us newbies.
Your instruction is so perfect! Thank you for this. I’ve tried to learn wire wrapping before and always got very overwhelmed very quickly. This lays it out so easily, and I can use it as a foundation to build on.
Thanks so much for sharing. Just started to retire and have wife and four grown daughters and I love making things. My wife and I moved on 18 acres and there are some nice rocks on the property that I thought I could make some nice hand crafted gifts for them. I thought I would just say thanks and let you know you make the world a better place.
Your instruction and camera were superb. Indeed, you are a master of your craft. I have so many beautiful stones and have been looking for years for a place to have this type of work done with them. I will now attempt doing this myself. Thank you.🌹
Your tutorials are THE BEST. As MJ Remy says...no music, good camera work, and everything explained perfectly. I am signing up to your channel today!!
Thank you so much!
I feel like I could actually tackle this specific cute little project. You’re amazing at explaining things!!
This is a really great video. I followed it today and made my first properly wrapped gemstone that i'm proud of. you explain everything you're doing really well and have a very easy to listen to demeanour. thank you!
This guide was super approachable, I'd been looking through quite a few guides but none of them were as meticulous about going over the details as you were so thank you for that.
I am restaring this cradft again and I really needed a brush up. I used to do mainly just wire weaving so this was very helpful. Thank you!
you are very welcome!
The most detailed explanation for beginners. From now on, I am a permanent resident of your channel
Excellent instruction and demonstration. I love that you've included a supply list in the description. Thanks!
Thank you so much for this I feel like I have finally feel like I might have the confidence to start this hobby at 57 xx
I tried this today without watching the video again and not bad for my first time. Thank you.
You explain everything calmly and not just throwing information at your face I want to say that that has to take lots of time, effort, and skills to make and it’s very beautiful
love this, i love your lack of unnecessary chatter. Very professional.
The result is very pretty and the whole "how to" very well explained! :)
I just used your tutorial to wrap my first pendant. Thank you for an easy to follow, concise, beautifully explained tutorial.
I enjoy watching in your tutorial how to make a design in making earings,I'm one fun making beads
Thank you!
I tried this myself! Definitely need to use the kind of wire she recommends. Round wire just doesn’t look as tight, is much harder to work with, and if it’s too stiff the loops and bends won’t look round.
Still though, I managed to make a practice pendant pretty easily and without much frustration. That’s a win for me! And next I’m going to try it with the kind of wire she suggests.
OxanaCrafts has by far the best tutorials for me. I now understand why so many people highlight her work. For me being a beginner she sets the right pace and also gives options to dress the item up or leave it less fancy. Thank you!!!
Thank you so much!
Thank you for taking the time to show me. Loved the video. I am looking for some stones to make this with.
Thank you!
I am going to have a go at making one of these for a lump of polished Amber. It won't look anywhere as nice as the one you made. Thanks for sharing. 🥰☕🍰
you are very welcome! I'm sure it will look great!
You have a very calming voice. Thank you for the beautiful tutorial :)
Thank you! 😊
Thank you for your intricate detailed wire-wrapped tutorials!
I have made about three pieces using your precise instructions and they all turned out OK!
So, I have decided to go get the Xuron needle nose pliers you recommended.
Those pliers will definitely help me improve my wire-wrapping skills.
if i tried this, i'd have so much stress LOL this is beautiful though. props to you, your patience, and your creativity.
Its beautiful and your tutorial is easy to understand for biginer..
Great tutorial, made my first ever wire wrapped pendant today....a bit rough round the edges but this tutorial helped loads....thank you
A super informative and easy to understand video. I actually feel confident to begin a new craft! Thank you for using your "inside voice".. LOL ...many videos are done with loud and abrasive voices...but yours is soft and sweet and "non-ivasive". ( I'm a musician, so I notice and am affective by such things! :) )
Not only do you do beautiful work, you also explain it very well. You are a gifted artist AND instructor. Thanks.
Thank you!
I used the back two wires from the bale to make a design then I used the 4 left on top to bend down and make the whole wrapped stone part encased in a heart !! Looks amazing. Thanks so fun to watch
Sounds really neat, glad you discovered something new while making it.
Thanks for taking the time to make this video. I am a glassblower and have always wanted to make pendants , now I have and your tutorial showed me how.
Thank you for that fabulous tutorial...I have many cabs to do so I will get started
you are very welcome!
Your piece work is amazing and your tutorial has given me confidence to have a go at doing this. I will be off to my bead shop shortly to pick up my supplies and have a go. Thank you Kai
The twisted wired adds a nice touch to the jewelry.
Thank you!
I giggle every time you say "basic" lol. This is amazing! ♥
I made my first pendant using a beautiful labrodorite following this tutorial and absolutely love the result! It has also helped me gain confidence and inspired me to continue on the journey of wire wrapping. It's so much fun and so rewarding! Thank you!
That's so wonderful! Labradorites are one of my favorites. So glad this video helped you.
@@OxanaCrafts 🥰🥰🥰
Very nice work.. you make beautiful pendents. I really enjoy watching you create them. Thanks for sharing. I will be trying this very soon.
Thanks so much 😊
I will make this for my Mom.
How did it come out?
@@michaelriley8002 I have not done it yet. I have been having Insomnia unfortunately.
@@noelleboehm1142 wrap some stones while yer sitting up
Very nice work love it l will try to make it thanks a lot
Soooo cool to watch a beautiful prince of jewelry be born right before your eyes. You really brought it to life
Watching for first time. You make this so interesting and doable. I am inspired. I purchased the tools over a decade ago but nothing else. Now I want to try.
Mine came out really nicely. The only thing that was a problem is that you didn´t say at 8:17 that it´s important to leave the wire longer for the hook later. I had started wrapping it quite narrowly because I use 925 silver wire and didn´t want to waste any. In the end when you took the bit from the beginning that you had left hanging out and closed the hook with it, I had nothing left so I had to impro and wrap a separate wire around the hook to fixate it which didn´t look as nice. Gladly the little swirls in the end covered that up. I hope it´s understandable what I mean lol Anyway thanks for the great tutorial.
I just started making jewelry and this video was super informative thanks for sharing!
Very nice. You’ve launched several people into a hobby I’m sure and you might have even planted the seed of some market competition for yourself with this great instructional video
Thank you for sharing so elegant design, and the stone(jewelry) is beautiful🥰❤✨
You are so welcome
I finally found a guided tutorial that is slow and easily understood for beginners!! You did a great job and finally after 20 years of wanting to do wire wrapped cabs, I am determined to learn to do this. I will order the wires from Rio Grande first. I know I can get the 21 gauge from Michael’s, but not the square wire. So glad I found you and subscribed! Thank you! ❤️
Thank you! Best of luck with your wire wrapping!
Very beautiful design, the proportions are just right so the stone doesn't drown in wire
Well that's just beautiful. Who knew you could do that? Awesome 💚
Love your channel, just found it last night. You are amazing. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much!
Your video is so awesome‼ Your SIMPLE explanation on how to wrap wire you're going to make my first project easier to do! Thank you so much and God bless!
You are talented .nice work
I will try that with a stone collected from desert
If done correctly, you can make very beautiful pieces of jewlery, just like you are now!!!! Id love to see more like this!!!!
Your pendant design, is quite Beautiful! There is nothing basic about it! It is spectucular!! I love it and thank you for posting! 👍⭐👍💖👍
You are a great teacher, and very talented wire wrapper. What a beautiful pendant necklace.
Very pretty. Makes me want to make one right away. I'll have to go shopping for a stone first though. lol!
You have such a sweet way of explaining everything. I just recently started tumbling stones so now I'm going to use your model to wrap some. Thanks 😊
Your bendy thumb is handy, you held that cab like a boss! 😁✌️❤️
What a beautiful pendant! I'm just starting out in making jewelry, I love the way you show how to make this step by step. Thank you for sharing your amazing creativity!!
Yo I just used this video to make my first wire wrapped pendant ever, and I have thought about doing this for so long!!! Took me about 1.5 hrs on and off of calls at work, but I did it. Thank you so much for the easy video, and a very approachable design
Beautiful! You definitely have a talent and great teaching skills. ❤
Thank you!
Used your tutorial to make my first wire wrap pendant! Thank you!
This is the prettiest wire wrap I’ve ever seen! It enhances the stone so beautifully, while the wrap itself is so elegant and pretty yet doesn’t detract from the cabochon . So well done. Wish me luck when I try to replicate this! Lol 💎💖
Great instruction. You make it look easy. But I’m still a disaster at it.
Love, love, love this, I am a newbie to making Jewellery, and I am hooked on this type after watching you, thank you so very much... much love x
My adhd brain got bored halfway through and completely freestyled. 10/10 video, great tutorial
Thank you!
@@OxanaCrafts I realized my comment sounded a bit sarcastic and rude but I genuinely mean it!
Wow...just wow, beautiful wrap...best wrap that I have seen on RUclips. You are very talented.
Thanks sooooo much! My friend loves jewelry and I am totally making this for her birthday. Keep up the good work!
Wow. The way you explain everything in detail is amazing. Thank you so much. You’ve made it so much easier for me to understand & get the concept. 🥺
Thank you!
Wow, I can’t believe I just watch you make that. I’m not crafty but I will re-watch your video for motivation 💕
You are such a great teacher. Thanks for the video! Calming watching/listening to you.
Thank you!

I just wrapped my first pendant using your tutorial! Thanks so much! Wish I could share a photo!
You are detailed and talented. Thank you for sharing. I want to start making my own jewelry.
Beautiful!!! Lovely way to show off the cabochon with just enough embellishment. Thank you for your video!
Just did 2 different stones in this design looks nice.
Thank you sweetie very much I have so many gems/cabochons and arrowheads I need to wire wrap
Nice piece, enjoyed your step by step instructions.
Thank you very much!
Nice!!!!!! You're still being watched! We're out here!
You made it look very do-able so will have to try thanks so much its beautiful
Followed your video and made something similar, thank you!! It turned out beautiful
Bonjour magnifique pour m est création de bijoux même si je ne comprend pas les vidéos sont très bien montré ❤
Great video. Your teaching technique is wonderful. Easy to follow and explains everything clearly.
This video is so awesome, your directions are so easy to follow. Thanks for sharing.
I've ordered some of your pliers, cause you make it look so easy! But I do think you were wise to use needle nose pliers for detail like this. I have small round nose pliers, and although they're dainty, they don't have as good a grip. Thank you for this tutorial, it's been really helpful.
Wow !!!
loved this tutorial it is simple, elegant and for a first time adventure; looks like something I will definitely try to do. Thanking you all the way from Puerto Rico. Shalom
Thank you!
This is a great tutorial and I feel like I could follow you and have a great looking piece of jewelry. Love the way this turned out and if this was a simple little piece I wonder what your more complicated pieces look like? I want to learn more
Well done very nice work and excellent description! Thank you very much!
