One of the best scenes and life lessons in the movie that most people never learn. Vikings didn’t mourn the loss of a loved one but celebrate their memory and the life they lived.
But since God created it all from nothing, he actually can destroy it as well. If he wanted to he could snap his finger and make the entire Earth disappear from under our feet and we would all just be floating in space. He can do anything he wants. That phrase should be reworded to 'CREATURES OF THE UNIVERSE' can neither create nor destroy energy, merely transform it.

Most children learn about death with pets....this is a tough watch because most children don't witness adults dealing with their death. The apple connection is a beautiful way to explain it
I don't know how many children go to their grandparents or other relatives etc. funerals death is hard at any age though for adults whose children die too like John's son and it's not movie grief it's real.

the best movie Travolta made. He did an excellent job in a well written story.
That would be Pulp Fiction. But this one is a nice movie. Good drama.
This movie is SO underrated.
Absolutely

This scene was well written. I often reflect on the script to help me cope with the loss of someone.
Everything is on its Way to somewhere, Everything....
Best Moment in this Movie!
I love how George doesn't sugarcoat anything. And David Gallagher is wonderful in this scene.
This & Ladder 49 are John Travolta's best movies in my opinion
This part made me cry even at a teenager.
No, I came here yesterday!

Agreed.changed my outlook.
