The sad irony of this is. If Chris Benoit "knew when to get out" and retired from wrestling he would probably still be alive today along with his wife and child. It was the head injuries and the over working that made him go crazy

It's well documented him and Nancy were having problems way before 2007. The man needed help and never got it. I hope everyone involved is resting in peace including him.

Hard to say. He had been wrestling since 1985 so the damage had been done. He worked that damaging style the entire time. Hard to imagine when he could’ve left and it making the difference. The difference in this acknowledgement is around this time he learned about the CTE issues and realized how much damage he’d gone through. Even if he’d left ten years before this he still spent ten or so years taking tons of damage to himself.
