That'll be my last memory of Austin Aries, just getting up after Morrison's finish and walking away. Talk about pissing away your career. I don't think any company will look at that incident and trust a guy who does that.

Devils Advocate position is that doing so made that moment so much more memorable than it would have been, especially for that Era of TNA where the IWC disrespected the hell out of the company and made it dirty to openly be a fan of the product. Everyone talked about it and to this day people who didn't even watch that match talk about it.
Feel real bad for Johnny though, of all people he didn't deserve to have a tainted celebration.

His attitude is terrible and has constantly held him back his entire career, which seems to be a common trait in many wrestlers. Even with Aries ego issues he is still the 3rd longest reigning world champion in TNA and longest reigning x division champion.

Kid Kash was without a doubt one of the unsung heroes of the dying days of ECW (super talented guy) his work is so underrated in many ways he was a lot like Bret Hart (Everything he did looked close to flawless) his time in the early TNA was fantastic he knew how to make those fans want to stab him (People could learn how to get proper heat by Kash) As good as Austin Aries is in the ring his downfall is himself the guy is a complete narcissist (There’s a reason so many people call him out on his attitude problem) 👍👍👍❤️👍👍👍

Kid Kash is a stand up dude.. I mentioned it before in a comment, hung out with him quite a few times in 2013-2015ish area.. I work for the local water dept on the outskirts of Nashville, he lived in East Nashville at the end of our district, and I'd come over, he always welcomed me to come shoot the shit, and I'm a hardcore fan from way back, that's studied the business, so I had question after question and just was like a kid in a candy store.. I think most wrestlers would eventually tell u to fuck off in a nice way, but not him at all.. He was cool as shit.. He kept a nice clean house, decorated good, liked to smoke some pot, and mind his own fucking business.. Which is my kinda guy.. Him and Jeff Hardy are by far the 2 nicest guys I've ever met in person, and were as down to earth as it got.. Kid Kash will always have my respect, for not only his great career, but for the way he treated me, when in hindsight I was probably annoying as fuck.. lol.. But, I don't think he knew how big of a fan I was, Pro Wrestling is my life in a lot of ways, especially his era.. Funny thing, I actually asked him about Austin Aries, cause I always thought they had good chemistry in TNA, and judging by interviews I had seen of the 2, they seemed like they would get along pretty good, but yea he didn't care for him then, and that was when it was all particularly fresh, cause he had literally been in TNA less than a year before I met him.. Again, I know its a long comment, but yea I can't understate how good of a guy he is for real.. If you read this Kid Kash I hope u remember me, I worked for Madison Water when u lived on Ardee in Inglewood.. Bigger Fat guy with a beard, like all wrestling fans.. lol.. But I do get laid at least.. lol

Don't ask a hillbilly cause we'll damn sure tell ya! Aries couldn't draw flies in East TN even if he is the biggest piece of crap in wrestling. If your not happy with your spot quit. Refuse the match. Something besides ruining show for paying fans. And how does John deserve you taking out frustrations on him. You proved you have no ethics or professional pride. Explains alot. .
I was hyped when I saw kid kash return in impact or TNA as it was then
But him being upset with how they were using explains how much of a let down he turned out to be.
Not knocking him but how can anybody really get over in a company when they only ever get bottom card matches and doing jobs all the time.
Shame but much like most talented workers at impact they really didn't get the most out of him

Never got the hype around Austin Aries tbh, his attitude makes me dislike him even more.
At the time I hated that Kendrick had to drop the X division belt against him and not someone with more humility .

Kid Kash has always been a stand up guy, he's been around the block for sure, including in WWE. I mean shit his run in WWE was better than Austin Aries hahaha. AND HE ACTUALLY WON THE CRUISERWEIGHT TITLE, which Aries just jobbed in matches for over and over.

I really enjoyed Austin Aries as an on screen performer. He knew how to get random things over, almost gave off a Chris Jericho like charisma… But his lack of professionalism completely ruined it for me. I immediately stopped enjoying watching his matches after he didn’t put over Morrison, a guy who BUSTED HIS ASS. I can’t watch a single old Austin Aries match from the past and actually respect it. Morrison is a legend in this business, in my opinion. And to no-sell him like that was bullshit.
