Attention to "new" buyers of this pinpointer. The beautiful storage case, strap and secondary case for the tip protectors, is gone. Now you have a inner (bad) bit of cardboard, the tip bits in a little plastic bag, and if you shake the entire thing before unboxing, all seems lose inside.
OK, I based my self on this, and other reviews, so I did not check properly on the N. Makro website, or the shop. I just bought`t.
Seems that N. Makro change their product, but they, or the selling shops, forgot to change the price.
As a client (I also have one of their detectors), I feel robed.

Glad i got this version ,and it's still going strong after 6 yrs.
I guess if they have to reduce costs, better to lose frippery than function.
pointer itself seems most important. idc about the little case
My Garrett beeps when it feels like it. Gets annoying. Tried everything from batteries to card in the top etc. It still plays silly bugggers. So I'm going for one of these. Thnx Kris.
Was going to go for a minelab 35 after watching this especially the end of the video this pinpointer is the one for me, thanks dude good luck on the feilds.
I got the Nokta pointer as well. Works amazing, but sometimes beeps when the tip is pointed upwards? Now of cause that dosnt affect the real use of the pointer so it dosnt bother me that much. In total its a super pointer and i love it.
Very good review! I've had mine for about 4 months now and am extremely happy with! It has been the best pin pointer that I have owned. And highly recommend it anyone who is thinking about getting one.-Chris
My Garrett pro pointer started acting up at just 6 months old then a kid stole it from my girlfriend while beach hunting. I took your advice and bought a Nokta pointer and I love it. Thanks for the review. It sold me on giving it a try. Keep up the great videos.

I've the first addition nokta and its served me well till this day it's not waterproof and its been out in the rain many of times I do keep it out of rain in my pocket but it comes out for the holes solid pin pointer might sell the old and upgrade to this one

Nokta and Makro merged... I was looking last year for pinpointer and this was Macro pointer ... good effort... review for the people
fully agree with you,why make things that are for field use not water proof?!half the things on sale these days break within a few months!

I stumbled (stumbled? ) onto your channel a few days ago as I watch alot of these vids (determined souls marching about fields, cutting swaths of air) that may have many ''oohs'' and ''aahs'' but nary a ''ha ha''. That your's are both informative AND spontaneously hilarious, it surprises me that you don't have many more subscribers. I'm not losing sleep over it but still.. Noktapointer was my firstpointer, and still my favorite, I'm phasing it out for the mi4 now because themi4 is rechargeable, but when nokta makes a rechargeable landpointer I'll be first in line

Addictedtobleeps, Thank you for an honest review of this Nokta Pointer. I've been looking to get a Pointer, but I have to save money up for it which is hard since I am paying off bills and I need a new car and new glasses more than a pointer. But I want a pointer really really bad. At least somewhere down the road I will get one and now I have at least two kinds to try and make a decision on. :-D
ip x7 says it should be able to stand being submerged in water up to a meter for a few minutes.. cant really recall how many.. we seldom go over 44 in an electrical installation in a house..
I prefer the on off switch of the Garrett, grab it push the button, not on the end of the Nokta. If mine goes bad it won't be because I abused it.

Its great pin pointer, I have one and its the only pin pointer I've ever owned.

I would love to know how it would stand up to a Chinese burn cause you did everything else to it

Why didnt you use it on a live dig , your review was worthless in my opinion. I want to no how it sounds, I want to no how sensitive the side is vs the tip ect .I'm coming from a whites trx witch I love .... so I'm looking for a pin pointer that can come close to it ...off topic does anyone know if there is anyone repairing them the whites trx ?
I used it in at least 20 videos around the time of this video.
I recommend the Quest pointer over this now. This lasted 18 months.
