one of the greatest drummers who ever lived. certainly my favorite. rust in peace nick menza
Rust In Peace Mr. Menza, one of the most creative drummers in metal history
Fucking incredible drum track. Nick Menza was truly one of the best.
He went nuts on this track. RIP Nick gone way too soon
For me he's the best metal drummer that I've ever heard...intensity, creativity and speed, all three in high level!
And last but not least, Fukin POWER!!
Nick Menza and Jeff Pocaro are two of the drummers who move me with just their incredible feel and groove.
I listen to this almost every day. It gives me a drumming goal to work towards. About 1/3rd of the way there.

I believe they actually used Gretsch drums for this recording (like Lars used for Black album). They sound killer whatever they are
@@mercertj Yup! Gretsch Rosewood set, pretty great sounding set!
Go Nick
I'm still completely lost on how to play the intro section and the end section.
Jacob W. Same
the intro is ta tucutucutucutucu tathe end is tucutucutucutucu while dun dun dun dun dun

There's a video where menza itself explains how to play it
Update: I actually figured it out a few years ago now, it’s pretty simple once you know how to do it
And to think people say Metallica is better
