  • Extend the life and charge capacity of your Mac laptop battery by calibrating the power management system.
    Read the 7-step guide here:
    www.newertech....
While NewerTech Batteries Are Shipped Up To 30% Pre-Charged...
It's absolutely essential to calibrate the power management system after installing any new battery from NewerTech or any other top brand. The power calibration process syncs the computer’s power management system with the battery which allows:
    - Your new battery to achieve its fullest charge capacity.
    - Your new battery to reach its full lifespan.
    - The system to accurately display the battery level.

There are a few things for battery repairing
Don't attempt to do this unless you are sure what you are doing - the acid can burn your skin
Test the voltage first - there may be a kaput cell which will waste your time.
      Check your battery fluid.
Try to completely recharge the battery.
(I discovered about these and more using rapid renew roadmap site )

@@zlatanmustacevic9261 You have no idea what you are talking about and should not be allowed onto internets. Literally nothing you wrote is true.
Li-ion laptop batteries do not have liquid acid, or any liquid at all for that matter. Testing voltage will not give you any information about the internal cells, nor are they user-serviceable in Li-ion laptop batteries.
Again, there is no fluid to check.

Got mine replaced, recharged it after it died (when it turned on it said 50%) then I charged it to 100 so I used it til it died (I don’t count that cycle) so then what I did was I charged it up again, switched the settings. Now I use it til it dies and then wait the 5 hours again, charge up and THEN SMC. Should read the correct settings afterwards. Nice big 8600 MaH battery cell.
