Stationed in England for a total of 14 years saw Uriah Heep many times in London at the Hammersmith Odeon. Don’t think the Hammersmith audience open anymore

Not one of David Byron's best vocals performances, unfortunately, and even keyboardist Ken Hensley stepping up to the plate to almost sing co-lead vocals couldn't save it. I think David Byron was really on something that night.
Really an underappreciated group. One of my favorites of the early 70s. What a great blast from the past. 8-track heaven.

Uriah Heep gave a great Arena performance . I'm 67, still got the 2 Uriah H. albums I bought in the 70's

Gary Thain was a super talented bassist. He was hitting it perfectly live. Heroine was unfortunately his demise.

The fad for some men was 4 inch heeled boots in the seventies. Especially in the rock scene. haha! It was funny but they looked with the bells.
