My dualshock 4 model CUH-ZCT2U won't stop pressing the playstation home button by itself. It's pretty much unusable. It presses it so much it's annoying but I refuse to throw out cuz it's a really nice colored one
In some videos/guides i see that the charging assembly ribbon cable is pointing inwards towards the battery and others its pointing outwards. I make sure that every single one I look at is for CUH-ZCT2U model controller, which is one is right?
@@fasttechvideo it’s only been a week since I had got it and it started last night when I had went to download a game from the store and I ended up letting it sit all night and it works for about 10 seconds
question how do you fix the buttons on the right? like the triangle, sqaure, cirlce and x bc for some reason after i tried fixing my analog sticks i reassembled my controller and the buttons werent working at all like they didnt register to the ps4 do you think you cant help me with that?
I would start by checking the position of the membrane on right side and its position on the mid frame of the controller. The material thats actually the button is easy to damage since its a very thin material. Hope that helps.

My ps4 controller doesnt turn on unless im in reset mode (idk what its called) and it doesnt blink when im in regulat mode like its still alive but it doesnt show any signs of life besides when i put my ps4 in rest mode. I got this controller like 3 months ago so idk why this is happening pls help

This is most likely due to liquid on it causing a short. A cleaning should fix it

For this model this is how it goes. May be a different orientation for previous model
