Love the table bed conversion idea. Wish I could do something like that to my 15DS but I have the dry bath so my dining area is not deep enough to set up the bed(s) in that orientation. It is a good thing it is going to be just me using mine. I bought it for a bucket -list trip across the US I hope to start soon. ;-)
Thanks for sharing this really neat idea and the measurements to make the table fit perfect I don’t have the skills but I found a customer tabletop maker in Wisconsin he is making us one light maple 25” x 26” 1” for a reasonable price and a short time. It was very easy to set the trailer up for this really neat remodel. Nice and roomy and no more heavy large table to make into a bed. And easy to put back to original if we sell the unit. Thanks again for your wonderful idea. Works great for a husband or two dogs but trailer mainly for my wife.👍😎🐶🌈
Hi What a great idea. I have the same model 15 fk. Would you mind sharing the dimensions of your table. It is perfect . Thanks for sharing this remodel and your videos.
Ok, I'm a new subscriber :-) Great idea to make twin beds. Would the original table still fit in the back? I heard that certain style electric brake modules can vibrate loose. I will make sure there is a safety strap of some sort just in case. We built in the woods in 2016, at the base of the family farm. So I have deep woods off my kitchen door! If you have an email address, I can send photos our 350 acre working farm. Hence Jim & I are new to Zen & the Art of Camping. I hope to follow your journeys and pick up tips and tricks, that can make the experience a joyful one! ~Diane
Thanks for subscribing Diane, yes the table would still go there but it was quite large. We have been campers and rvers for years, so enjoy the adventure :). I have a Bead Trapper Facebook page and you can message me with pictures from there, your place sounds beautiful.
I am looking for this trailer... I heard quality was bad but after I check it out myself well it's an RV and the price is not too excessive.. I really enjoy looking at it. My concern is that I would tow it with a Jeep Wrangler Unimited Whillys Wheeler.. Scared the front lift a little or that in hills, the Jeep will find it hard to climb.. And of course the gas on highways at high speed.. What do you think?
It weighs 1,800 lbs empty, our Jeep is rated for about 3,500. We don't have any lifting issues ( our Jeep is a 4 door ). It pulls the hills pretty good of course it does slow down some. The trailer is not great quality but not bad either, I did do a follow-up video on this. The trailer is in demand because of the price point, then people make up grades to it.
We just picked our 15FK. Question. How did you find the construction of the wood framework inside the side cavities? We have to do some repairs for overall support. I really like your bed configuration and we plan to do the same. Have you sorted out creative storage? I know you and yours are boon docking. Our model is the 2022. It has a three shelf- book shelf to the left of the door entrance. Our sink is located where your refrigerator is. The stove top is next to the wet bath, with a larger electric fridge to the right of the entrance.
A bigger fridge will be nice, we put up coat hooks into the cabinets, nice looking baskets or even hanging bags could work. When we go in the trailer we also try to think minimally lol. Tommorow we are taking our motorhome out and I'll hopefully be doing a video. We do enjoy our tiny trailer though and the bed is working out well. Enjoy !!! Thanks for the comments
Hi Ralph, Thanks for the question. My husband is 5'10 his feet are off a bit but we use sleeping bags in there so it doesn't matter that much plus a person usually doesn't sleep like a poker lol. I am 5"4 and sleep on the side where the fridge end is near my feet and have no problems. It really is much more comfortable.
I added a 12 volt fridge between the seats/bed and door. I put a cushion on it at night for my spouse’s feet. They’re 6’3. I used a shoe rack/bench before buying the fridge.

That's great, so glad it worked out for you. Enjoy your adventures
Very nice😊
Thanks for watching
Great video.
Thanks
Wow! Awesome!!! We are planning on getting one of the bushwacker plus models. I have been wondering if this was possible. I love it!
Thanks, enjoy your Bushwhacker
Great idea, thanks for sharing. Are you able to fit lying on your back or is it too narrow and requires side sleeping please?
Laying in the new direction if you're over 5'10 it would be short, it is narrow but it's doable with a comfortable mattress

Hello, It is 25x26. We are getting ready to head out in it soon so hoping to make some more videos. Enjoy your trailer :)

Hi I have the same trailer and a smaller top is much easier to work with. It’s mainly for my wife and older age makes the big one a problem for us.

Hi any thoughts on the emergency exit window. If you have it open it’s easy to get stabbed by the hardware.
Hello, yes the hardware does get in the way.
With the bed orientation rotated 90 degrees as you have done, how are the bed lengths? Are they shorter?

Are you a member of fb Braxton Creek Bushwhacker plus owners group? Would you mind if I posted a link to this video on it?
