    Thanks so much for helping us newbies/owners of this amazing teardrop. One thing that my daddy taught me was that there is no free lunch and that you get what you pay for. If folks are worried about the quality they may consider doing what we did and buy a used unit that's been road tested. I am 83 and didn't want to buy trouble. Took it out this last weekend and it was wonderful and we had no hookups.

    It's great to have a continuous source for "How To" on the Bushwhacker Plus.

    Great video. Except one DOES need to worry about the septic vents if they get clogged! Covers are removable but were glued on and difficult to remove!

    I love this camper, and your detailed walk through. But, where is there any storage, i.e. to hang a few clothes! Guess I could put a rod up in the shower, and some wall hooks up around the bed area. Hmmm, this is where we get creative! :D

    Being a newbie to the RV searching world I found this to be a very informative video. This is the model I'm looking at purchasing and thank you for the in-depth walk through.

    Very much appreciate this, picking ours up tomorrow, and hoping it comes with a paper manual, lol, wondering about warranties too, for appliances etc.

    Hello..just bought a new Bushwacker..on the first camping trip I attempted to use the heater
    The new heater smell triggered the smoke detector and now I’m scared to use it lol
    Did you have same experience? Thanks

    I Have a 2022 17FD and my AC doesn't cool it and I don't have that nice vent you have, is that stock? Mine is just two small inch PVC pipes on the roof

    Hello Drew! We just bought a Bushwacker Plus 15FK. Today is July 14th. The camper is still at the dealership, as we are having an electric brake system installed on our Tacoma. I have two questions. What size are those trailer wheel lug nuts? I understand standard trailers are 1/2". My dealer is saying 3/4". A self torque 3/4 wrench costs a fortune! Also What brand surge protector do you recommend? I am not getting good reviews on Amazon for most of them. Thank you ~ Diane

      @RVTechToursatPrincessCraft  3 года назад

      Hello Diane! We recommend the Power Watchdog surge protectors from Hughes. They are 3/4", hope this helps!

    Great in depth tour. Does anyone know the actual bed dimensions? Particularly, the width or distance from back wall to leading edge of bed.

      I've been scouring the web looking for the same thing, frustrating.

  • @jongargarita683
    @jongargarita683 2 года назад +1

    I've read many reviews and they say pretty consistenly that the build quality of the 15 FK is very cheap. Nothing against Princess Craft; their presentations are awesome. It's the Bushwacker that is poorly reviewed. There have also been many frustrated mentions about their warranty and service.

    I just brought home a 2020 15FK. Everything seems to work fine except the heater won't fire up. The propane is flowing as I can light the stove top. The fuses are all fine. I have switched it on using the switch on the top of the thermostat. I pulled the outside panel off looking for a on/off switch but none there. Any other suggestions?

    Nice tour. Interstate batteries suck for trailers. Needs deep cycle lead acid battery at minium.

    Does anyone know what the recommended trailer hitch height is? Read on a rental site 22 3/4" but only place I've found to check. Not parked flat currently to measure.

    Facebook is LOADED with owners on these campers pissed about the HORRIBLE quality control and complete lack of warranty follow up ! These campers are GARBAGE! Trust the reviews!

      for what its worth...I have spent the last week on Facebook with owners of this camper in two different groups. They all say quality is not as high as the more costly coaches. They do tend to have "issues" that need attention. BUT...all but 2 of the 30-40 I exchanged replies with stated they would buy again. Just need to realize you have to keep a close eye on "stuff". I have decided to purchase one as my weekend camper due to the price point and what seems to be "good bones" to work with...for what it is worth.

    Where in the video do you show the solar panel connector? And what kind of connector is it? I am trying to help a friend with solar panels (doesn't have the RV yet), and can find no information on it.

    When parked and in use are you supposed to leave both interior water pump and heating element switches "on" or only when needed?

      I personally turn them on for use and then off again when not in use. I like to save energy and propane when possible.

      My wife and I just purchased the 2020 bottle and took it out this Saturday. We boondoggled and absolutely loved everything about it. It had been used one time and was like brand new and we paid $12,000 for it.

    So is it correct that there's no solar charge controller built into this unit? They're assuming that whatever portable solar pack you get will have that built in?

    Looked at these Braxton Creek coaches for months, and my only conclusion is cheap, cheap, cheap!!!! Ended up with a 17’ Dutchmen Kodiak Cub, and the quality is night and day. You get what you pay for sure! Don’t scrimp when it comes to trailers, it’s not worth the small savings.

    • @RVTechToursatPrincessCraft
      @RVTechToursatPrincessCraft  2 года назад +2

      It is not "4-season" rated, but we have several customers who happily camp in them in below-freezing conditions. They winterize and just camp a little more primitively in them. Still lots of fun!

      We used ours last weekend and woke up freezing but turned on the wonderful furnace and in moments we were warm. I thought the blower motor would use up the battery but the next morning it was only down about 1/4 from full. By the way the dealership put in a new RV interstate battery but I am going to change it for a much larger one since we like being self-contained.

    This "techinal tour" failed to show the poor quality of this product. Buyer do your research and be warned. Cheaper is never better. You get what you paid for. If you want problems in the middle of nowhere, this camper is for you.

    LOL.... when buying this unit, you'll pay dearly for this inspection at time of purchase, which is BS. Unit should be inspected by the seller, meaning hook unit up to power, gas and water before being available for sale. Overall, it appears to be a good product. Mixed emotions as far as actually purchasing. RUclips has a few unhappy owner's videos. Doing a thorough self-inspection (as with any investment), tells it all.
