Placing this by the door is brilliant because it allows you to rinse off muddy boots/shoes/feet when coming in. If you have a dog you could shower your dog as well if it is muddy. This is so smart.
It's great you showed the whole process of installing the shower. It's hard to find good shower tutorials out there and this is one of the best. Thank you and hope you're both enjoying Van Life!
Very ingenious design, beautifully made. Well done and safe journeys in your travels. From an 84 year old Scotsman who has owned five different motorhomes.
Very clever! Also, if you come in with muddy boots, simply blast them with the shower, and the muddy water drains away. The rest of the van stays clean.
BRILLIANT IDEA ...AND LOVE THE PLACEMENT AT THE DOOR ... AND LOVE THE DOUBLE PURPOSE TRHAT THE SHOWER PAN ALSO CATCHES THE SAND/DIRT USUALLY TRACKED INTO THE LIVING SPACE
OMG! THIS IS BRILLIANT! I'm in the process of designing a van build for small van...this is a great idea...a lil nervous about cutting the floor of the van, I would need to look and see how it is structured...but you gave me a great idea. Good Job you guys!
I love their shower/toilet idea, too! Just be careful with making openings in the floor. It needs to be gas tight, otherwise toxic Carbon Monoxide is drawn in while driving. Other air pollutants, too, from car exhaust.
Another great bathroom build is in this vid: Family of 4 VAN TOUR ! UNBELIEVABLE Open Layout - Shower, Toilet, Screen Doors! | Van Life Personally, I would try to also use the shower space for hanging clothes when not in use. That is, if I could rig up a way to effortlessly pivot the hanging rod to outside the shower when needed. Better: use the space for pots, pans, and other items not harmed by humidity.
EXCELLENT video. Great ideas and thinking "Outside the box" 🙂 You could extend the shower head and wooden grate outside the van box if weather and location permit. Happy Trails.
I love your idea for covering the Toilet too, I'm gonna do that 👍👍💯💯 Also this is the best TRIPLE use I have seen : Shower, Toilet and door to cab 👍👍💯💯
Excellent, I designed mine like this but haven't built it yet, and I have never seen any other like it, so it's a relief to see how great the shower pan looks. Im using a normal pan so not sure if the height will be a pain to line up with the floor. This is a great alternative. Thanks for making this video.
What a brilliant idea! Uses the "deadspace" of the entry for something useful AND gives you somewhere to step into and put wet clothes/shoes on, to drain, if it's been raining, and it will not destroy the floor of the van
Clever and simple. The channel "Our Way to Roam" hidden shower as well. This is much easier to implement and also serves as a way to cover the entrance to the cab as well.
You could easily use the shower outside too. You just need something to mount the head to on the outter wall. Also good foor cleaning outdoor gear like beach chairs and sand before entering
Thank you! This has helped with my research haha.. unfortunately now I have five different designs to attempt to sift through. The most weight efficient build, this is a close #2 on my list so far for light weight
I like your idea would love to see more idea's out side the box....because face it these tiny homes are small and I hardly see too many idea's out side the box everyone always for the most part does the exact same because we were considering the layout for the normal setting.what really needs to happen is like you spend how long in a shower really.,that's what on average 20 to 3o minutes exactly showering and for the rest of the 24 hour's it stands unused very needed but still for the most part unused.,,,,,,as well as your bed for the most part at least their are some very nice designs to get the beds out of the way and back fairly quickly if you have the space but the shower would live to see more designs like this one. Thank you for sharing
very cool and clever solution! What material did you for the walls? Do you have a seal at the bottom or is the wall just standing on shower pan? thank you
Great idea, I have a question, your water heater, I see that you have it inside, how do you ventilate it, because those are for use outside, but is interesting to see how you have it set up
brilliant idea thx for posting I was wondering why more people do not do this I only saw one video before yours with a similar idea and sadly didn't save it so lost it in the YT maze.
Very clever now u have a shower & toilet space, they shower in the entrance that works. Living in the van every space they can use it, this van kind of small space so this is fine with it.
This is a great idea! Have you had any issues with water leaking between the walls or between the bottom of the walls and the floor into the rest of the van?
So far no issues, but I also didn't use the shower so much since I always had the possibility to use the external one. The only downside I could find so far is dust and sand collecting underneath... it needs to be cleaned before use otherwise it could clog.
This is a really cool idea to squeeze more space out of no space, I think I'd feel a bit weird showering and using the loo in what is technically also my kitchen though... I've had an idea knocking about in my head for having the rear end bed board fold up into a full size partition wall, so you can hide a full size bathroom in a tiny van. All your amenities like hand sink, vanity cabinet, shower bracket etc would be mounted under the bed board and fold up. I don't think it would be technically that difficult, it's whether or not it would work well in practice I'm not sure about. The only drawback I can see is that it would be a pain in the ass if you woke up in the middle of the night and needed to pee... you'd have to offload your significant other onto the floor to gain access :D
My design only allows a 1.5” deep pan and I am worried if the water will drain if the van is not perfectly level. Due to the van chassis I can only have one drain hole on the corner.
Placing this by the door is brilliant because it allows you to rinse off muddy boots/shoes/feet when coming in. If you have a dog you could shower your dog as well if it is muddy. This is so smart.
This is one of the most original ways I've seen to include a private shower and toilet area in a small build. Great job!
It's great you showed the whole process of installing the shower. It's hard to find good shower tutorials out there and this is one of the best. Thank you and hope you're both enjoying Van Life!

Thank you for showing us your bathroom.
The shower / toilet is a fantastic idea. It takes no extra space either. Brilliant. 😊
Best on board shower I've seen so far.
Best solution I've seen so far.
BRILLIANT IDEA ...AND LOVE THE PLACEMENT AT THE DOOR ... AND LOVE THE DOUBLE PURPOSE TRHAT THE SHOWER PAN ALSO CATCHES THE SAND/DIRT USUALLY TRACKED INTO THE LIVING SPACE
This is by far the best shower idea I've ever seen in a campervan on youtube!!!!
This is creative thinking and something that is actually unique but functional. Thanks for making this video
Bella idea. Finalmente si vede qualcosa di originale nel web. Bravi!! Complimenti!!!
Grazie mille! 😄
Finally, I've seen a lot of shower ideas in vanliving and this is the perfect solution I've found so far!

Smartest I've seen. Fixed space is wasted space. Well done!
haven't seen anything else like this! Original and brilliant!!
Nice, fast, flexible and easy to build. Thanks
EXCELLENT video. Great ideas and thinking "Outside the box" 🙂 You could extend the shower head and wooden grate outside the van box if weather and location permit. Happy Trails.
Yes the location is what I thought of too. The base of the shower I haven’t thought out yet. Thanks for the inspiration.
Great design. Apply the same logic to the kitchen area.
Excellent idea for the shower 🚿
I love your idea for covering the Toilet too, I'm gonna do that 👍👍💯💯 Also this is the best TRIPLE use I have seen : Shower, Toilet and door to cab 👍👍💯💯
really nice,good work guys!
You are so brilliant -- toilet and shower in the same entry spot. I wish I can copy one day. Enjoy your van life.
Thank you for sharing! This is a great inspiration for the shower on my boat! Great solution with the paravent and the sinc!

I was thinking of something similar too! glad I found this vid for my own validation
Superb design. Unique design.
Brilliantly done.
So simple!! So brilliant!!

Brilliant! Absolutely Brilliant!
Brilliant idéa!!! 👍👌👋
Such a cool, creative, compact off-road rig!
Thanks! This is an Awesome ideal I'm doing this on my Van build!
Very original idea for shower & toilet…
Brilliant…👍👌👌👌👌👌
Clever and simple. The channel "Our Way to Roam" hidden shower as well. This is much easier to implement and also serves as a way to cover the entrance to the cab as well.
What a clever idea! Great job!
Amazingly smart 👏🏽♥️ love it
You could attach it to wall and put hinges on the panels, and then fold out like an accordion.
Veramente complimenti!!!! Siete fantastici 😀😀😀😀
Excellent idea....sensible solution...good for you....
THANKS
Fantastic and I'm nicking that idea 😂❤
You could easily use the shower outside too. You just need something to mount the head to on the outter wall. Also good foor cleaning outdoor gear like beach chairs and sand before entering
loved that. I have had a similar idea for a few months. Collapsible mold resistant partition walls.
Thank you! This has helped with my research haha.. unfortunately now I have five different designs to attempt to sift through. The most weight efficient build, this is a close #2 on my list so far for light weight
Perfect! You have made what I have been wanting- thank you!
Love the drainage for shower base.. the hot water tank as well
Ingenious. Very smart and helpful.
Very nice concept guys. The iveco vm 90 is a fantastic all terrain truck. Good luck raga!
Graziee!
Best shower conversion ever
I very much like your shower design!! 😍
Did you have to waterproof the wall or door? Thank you for sharing! 🙏

This just gave me an amazing idea for when i do my own build thank you so much! New sub!
thanks, good luck on your build!
Ciao raga!
This idea for the shower is amazing.
What is the material you have used to build the walls for the portable shower? The whyte part?
Thanks.
very cool and clever solution! What material did you for the walls? Do you have a seal at the bottom or is the wall just standing on shower pan? thank you
Good job and good info as I am about to build my shower.
Perfect solution, chapeau! 😊
Great use of space! What materials did you use to water proof the bottom? The clear paper and black paint. What are they called and what brand?
You want know what I think? It’s genius and I love it! ✌️
Thank you!!
बहुत अच्छी व्यव्स्था, जगह का उचित उपयोग 👏
Great idea, I have a question, your water heater, I see that you have it inside, how do you ventilate it, because those are for use outside, but is interesting to see how you have it set up
Soooo Awesome!!!!! Good Job!!!!!!

Very nicely done ❤
What it is to be young and enthusiastic…remember those days…😌
A very great idea.... great job
Fantastico ragazzi!!! Veramente una bellissima idea👍👍👍
Grazie mille!
Awesome idea. Well done
Very very brilliant idea
Brilliant concept. Showers and loos are the least used space in a campervan, so why not use that wasted door space? Well done.
Pensavo di aver camperizzato bene il mio ma questo è tutta un altra cosa. Complimenti
Grazie mille :)
Good idea, just need ceiling vent fan and a way to dry the entrance after use.
This is what i have been looking for!
Very clever now u have a shower & toilet space, they shower in the entrance that works. Living in the van every space they can use it, this van kind of small space so this is fine with it.
Alex ! I can't believe I found you while looking for a solution to my camper van . It is Or from last summer in Whistler
Best yet!
Best solution ever!
Genius! Thanks for sharing.
That's cool but have you ever had someone walk by they would get a good view with window in it lol.
This is a great idea! Have you had any issues with water leaking between the walls or between the bottom of the walls and the floor into the rest of the van?

@@alternative_livesfit bigger diameter drain pipes then it can't clog up
What a great idea 😊
Ciao! Complimenti per l'idea! Come vi state trovando con questa doccia? Pensavamo di fare una cosa simile. Grazie
Great Idea! 👍👍
The shower screen has blown my mind. Why have I not ever thought of this 😂. I hope you don’t mind if I use your idea
This is so smart thank you so much 🙌🏽

Great idea! Are you still liking it?
THIS IS AMAZING
Very clever!!!
Beautiful!

Love the shower area👍
Great idea!!
That is awesome😮
