This topic of different types of bathrooms is a great one and kudos for covering it so well. I full time and I’m in my 5th van. My first 2 were self builds with a bucket and luggable loo seat, and a zodi weed sprayer type of shower with a pop up tent. Worked well but when I went full time I knew I needed to have more home comforts. Had a 2018 Winnebago travails 59g. The shower looks great but functions poorly, due to having to pump water out while showering and the drain clogging mid shower. Next was a road trek 170 with the shower in the hallway. Better with the gravity feed drain but drafty. Don’t turn the overhead fan on to suck out steam or you will get wrapped in the curtain! My 5th van is my true home. It’s a 2002 chinook Baja. What makes my bathroom so great? First a flush toilet that takes 3 weeks to fill and flushes just like a house. The bathroom seals up tite so I can get a draft free steam shower. I got the homelody shower head off Amazon and I turn the water down low and I can shower for a nice long time! A bathroom is absolutely a necessity for me. Happy vanning everyone! P.S. if you want to see my bathroom, Bob Wells did a tour of it called “ my all time favorite rig “ or something like that.
Check out Snow & Curts van bathroom/shower! It is genius. I saw vidoes probably a year or two ago. Curt also has videos of how they filter/recycle water too.
The bathrooms that you show are fine, but you didn't cover the breadth of designs that are out there. Bathrooms built into half (kitchen) height cabinets or ottomans/seat height, showers in pullout drawers or at the sliding side door....
Totally hear you, we just have the ability to show what weve filmed firsthand. Cant go steal or post other peoples content on our youtube so these are the best weve seen over 100+ van tours weve done
A toilet is a must for me when we build our van in the future.
I totally agree - its so useful to have!
Holy crap! I love the skoolie, schoolie, whatever! Just beautiful!
Shower is a must, in my opinion. Great video !
We hear you! Its a give and take in some builds for sure. Thanks for the comment

Love to hear your progression from van to van. Thank you for such a detailed comment :D
I bought a used 2014 Sprinter, with black tank. We completely gutted and renovated…Now we have a Trelino toilet. I Love it!
I'd love to see your setup!
Toilet and shower yes
I LOVE THESE!!!!
Dry shower/tub room and a separate compost toilet room, each with a window.

Great video, looks like your dog is looking for a bathroom in the background! LOL
Hahaha glad you liked it -and yes we noticed 😂

Those are disgusting
Leg room is extremely important around a toilet no matter the persons size.
fair point!
I plan to have both a toilet and a shower in my build.
That dog in the back ground at 3:58 😆 💩
2000s cribs VS 2020s cribs
I want a toilet in my build
do it!!
Real never used my shower better to have them hidden tucked away.
Anyone over 50 needs a toilet for middle of the night
different strokes for different folks!
Toilet for sure - as much as some are against, too many rave after putting one in !
WILL have specifically have an incinerating toilet in my build.
