Just bought the same trailer a week ago so far everything is good. Also bought the unlimited tire and wheel package for I believe $425 for 5 years didn’t think i could beat that deal.
When you close and lock the ramp down, the bar hardly makes contact, any big bump and the ramp pops up. I’m hoping he will let me fix it. He didn’t want to bother with taking it back. It’s his personal trailer, that we use for work, so it’s up to him what he does with it
@@billygrossjr.5585 They tried to get the brakes working, but failed. I’m still trying to narrow down why I get the trailer brake disconnected message. I replaced the trailer cord plug and it’s better, but still get the message at times…the worst times. I know it’s the trailer because I had my buddy pull it and it did it to him as well. May have to replace every wire on the damn thing.
So the trailer repair shop who fixed it said it was the factory connections by the axles-visually they looked like they had a good bite but they didn’t actually get the copper wire. They were the cheap shark bite style connectors. I would start there 👍

I hope it’s a good trailer for you! I didn’t even know such a thing existed?
Have you had issues with the deck lock? My boss bought the same trailer for work.
So far so good 👍. What part of the lock is malfunctioning?

That’s no good! Depending on how new it is they may warranty it too? Definitely a safety problem lol
Experienced the same issues with my dump trailer, minus the wood of course.
Did your dealer handle it well atleast?

Big tex has quality issues
Apparently :(. The overall product seems good-they just need to do a better job with final inspection I think.
