Agree wholeheartedly, all you have to do is believe, but how do you know that you've truly believed? Faith without works is dead, if l yell "fire!" in a building, only those that were able and ran out really believed, works don't save you, they do prove however that you are saved. You can't say you believe and live any way you want to. That is dead faith.

Backloading works to the free gift of salvation, eh? Salvation is a gift. Don’t add filthy rags to the gospel. Don’t change the gospel. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. We’re saved by grace through faith and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God; not of works lest any man should boast. If righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. Righteousness without the law is manifested. Focusing on the law focuses on sin. The law is the knowledge of sin. We all will give account of our service at the judgment seat of Christ. We are to take heed how we build on the foundation that is Christ.

Don’t look to yourself to prove you’re saved because you’ll never find enough proof since we all stumble in many ways. Trust in his grace because it’s always enough.

The gospel of Grace and the Kingdom co-existed for decades … further the destruction of the temple in 70 AD was part of prophecy era that happened in the age of grace. So I don’t have an issue with 1948 fulfilling prophecy

    • @VFXShawn
      @VFXShawn Год назад

490 years were determined (Daniel 9), Jesus was cut off in the final 69th week, leaving 3 and a half years left on Israel's program. 70 AD was 40 years after the ressurection, so not part of the prophetic program. We know the antichrist must sit in that temple and claim to be God, as per 2 thess, and that hasn't happened yet. It is still future. Paul says all of Israel will be saved 'as it is written', indicating the resuming of the prophecies concerning Israel, both her time of trouble and ultimate deliverance. That is not happening today nor will it until the fullness of the gentiles has come in as per Romans 9-11.

      Not at all
However, I've seen, how 2 dates connect
And how US with Truman and others
      Sunday 12/7/1941
      Saturday 5/14/1948
Connected by 7s, and 7 years minus 7 months
      1 kings 6:1
Paraphrase 480 years after leaving Egypt in month of zif (iyyar..may ish)..5 iyyar 5708..5/14/48
The only thing Solomon didnt mention was the date
Xavid didn't build the temple because he was a man of war
      Hebrew has gematria
      And the name David
      Daleth vau daleth 4. 6, 4

Sorry just can't handle KJV in this day. So many other wonderful alternatives. Why use a 400 year old translation that must be constantly re-translated? Just in the first 2 minutes "Jonas" becomes "Jonah".

    • @porchlights2268
      @porchlights2268 2 года назад

I agree....Jonas, Jeremy, Booz Esias etc...very confusing and odd...I could write lists of names/ words that I have never encountered in all my 60yrs!
But, of ALL the teaching I have come across, Dispensational, Mid-Acts, Rightly Dividing teaching by teachers such as David Reid are THE best!! They bring clarity to God's purposes and plans as written in the Scriptures.
However, confusion and separation are added when one moves from a 'preferred' translation to ' onlyism'! This KJV onlyism divides the Body of Christ and consequently withholds valuable Biblical Truth firmly in a cultic mindset of which the average Christian will never venture towards.
KJV onlyists have lifted a translation to an idolatrous position....and if you read "The Translators to the Readers" preface in the 1611 edition you can gain an understanding that these translators did not in any way make the claims that KJV onlyists do today.
I could go on....I do thoroughly enjoy and am greatly blessed through David's teaching hence my confusion as to 'why' the translation appears to override the message.

Thanks for the kind words. There are significant differences between different translations. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.

@@porchlights2268 it's like, the new testament is in 3 parts
      Matthew-Acts
      Romans-philemon
      Hebrews-Revelation
      Acts transitions
      Like Deuteronomy
      Between Moses & Joshua
Also, most KJB people use the 1769 version. That had to be made before technology accelerated in late 1700s with the steam engine
It was less than 150 years between the light bulb and smartphone

You can say that Mathew 24:29-30 was fulfilled if you use the bible to interpreted the bible. If it was not fulfilled then Jesus is a false prophet. This is nothing but made up presuppositional attempts to deny Jesus's teaching. Peter said Acts 2 was fulfilling Joel Chapter 2, which is a last days prophecy. So Peter claim they were living in the last, but 21st & 22nd men say they are living in the last days ( Hebrews 1:1-2, 1 Corinthians 10:11, 1 John 2:18, and many others) . I wonder who we should believe. God sent Christ at the appointed time, Christ did not fail. If God created a gap the the prophecy of Daniel failed. If the Gap was in the 70 weeks prophecy then Jesus either lied or did not know what he talked about. All those judgment occurred in 70 AD.

      Richard Lawless
Prophecy and mystery Richard. Gotta rightly divide the Bible. Study up on the mysteries revealed only to Paul... the apostle to the Gentiles. In those mysteries is the dispensation of the Grace of God which broke prophecy. Acts 7 - Israel falls and is cut off for blaspheming the Holy Ghost by stoning Stephen. Then in Acts 9 Saul of Tarsus is saved as the first member of the Body Of Christ. Later Jesus reveals to Paul the fellowship of the mystery - Ephesians 3:9.
Israel was cut off as a nation and a new dispensation of the Grace of God (and the Body of Christ) began. It’s in place until the rapture and then it’s back to (prophecy) Matthew 24:34 (this generation) and Daniels 70th week, Jacob’s Trouble (the last horrifying 3 1/2 years).
