Looks like it was an epic trip to Koh Roc, just paradise! Love seeing your crazy smiling face Chris! Your mind bounces around like a ping bong ball. Makes me dizzy. Thanks for the awesome travel tips. Another great video, like always!
Koh Rok and Koh Lipe are really beautiful. Many great diving spots nearby the islands. Missing the island vibes and the people over there. Just amazing!!! Chris, please do not forget to stop by the Elephant for the great brunch menu and the sunset drinks at the Zodiac!! Just amazing as always...
You nailed it 👏 Koh Haa is by far my favourite island in Thailand 🇹🇭 😍 for its natural beauty and pristine reefs. There's a good current that flows between the islands and it keeps the reef healthy. The location keeps the masses away! 😉 I've not been there since 2014 and it's great to see nothing has changed 😊 Once again you've taken us to paradise!! Looking forward to seeing more. 🙏
I love Koh Lipe! But it has gotten a bit to developed the last years. Was there in 2010 and so much has changed since then. Back then there where no cars and almost no taxis and there where like 2-3 hotels with pools. But that’s Thailand for you and it’s still a lovely island! Make sure to bring your football shoes if you keen to play some, there is an artificial pitch where Thais and expats plays every night!
Koh Lipe. Nice! Been waiting so long for you to start exploring the nucer islands here. Enjoy your trip and get over to nang yuan for paradise asap before the tourists arrive!
Hi from the couple that said a quick hello to you after we finished lunch at Paul’s. Thanks for putting us into your last shot in the Paul’s segment. 😎. I live in Chiang Mai and travel in similar circles to you so I’m sure we’ll run into each other again. Next time I’ll stop for a chat if you’re free. Keep up the great work. I’m excited for the Koh Lipe series!...I mean mystery island 😂
On my way to Samui, we made a stop at Wat Don Sak, which is only about 20 minutes away from the pier and worth the small detour off the main route, 4142.
Great vid, Chris! And great impression of Sir David Attenborough .. as you made such a graceful dive. :) My guess on the island is .. well I don't want to give it away! .. so Ko "facial feature" ending in "e". :) Looking forward to the next!
I know exactly where you are and when I was there a couple of years ago in October I completely loved it. It is a little challenge to get to but more than worth it. I can not wait to see the next vids.
Your final destination is definitely Koh Lipe because I have been there twice. My first time was in January 2017 while I was staying in Langkawi in Malaysia for 1 week and they did day trips to Koh Lipe from there which I spent 6 hours. My second visit was in Feb 2018 when I have stayed 3 nights after staying in Ao Nang/Krabi, Koh Phi Phi Don and Koh Lanta. From Koh Lanta to Koh Lipe, I did stop on 3 beautiful islands (Koh Ngai, Koh Kradan and Koh Muk). While I loved Koh Samui a lot (as well as Koh Tao and Koh Phangan), I wasn't that impressed with Phuket. But Koh Lipe is definitely the Maldives of Thailand and in the deep south very close to the Malaysian border
They're not pine trees along the beaches, they are Casuarina equisetifolia (common names Coastal She-oak or Horsetail She-oak) Chris. The native range extends throughout Southeast Asia, Northern Australia and the Pacific Islands; including Thailand, Myanmar, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Indonesia, East Timor, and the Philippines, east to Papua New Guinea, French Polynesia, New Caledonia, and Vanuatu, and south to Australia. Love your work ...
@@RetiredWorkingForYou My pleasure, Chris (got your name right this time!). Added some more details as to the large range of this much loved tree. Hopefully meet you for a beer one day. Stay safe out there in paradise, bro ...
Hey, I know the word that was muted. Andaman sea is very nice to travel but also very far from land. Not only these islands a part of the National Park but also they are quite near the sea border to our neighbor. It means you might enter our neighbor accidentially. If that happens, it will cause a lot of troubles. Thank you for this vlog. I really miss these andaman islands.
I have dived so many times at Koh Haa, with planet blue divers from Koh Lanta, epic spot, i know where you are going, i always take the Tiger Lines down the inner sea route, or from Pak Bera/Satun to where you are going, epic boat ride 👍
Hi Chris , first time viewer, all the way from South Africa, Cape Town. . I just love the scenery, nature absolutely healthy for the soul, the colours of the sea amazing, Paradise indeed. Appreciate watching your videos you energy, vibrant, God Bless the two of you,. Watching your videos, another dimension amazing views I love tranquility its Heaven. ❤ love it. Thankyou guys.
Clear - Lipe ! Good choice - slightly in concurrence with Koh Muk (not Mak) south of Koh Lanta (and kind of close to Lipe) or Koh Kood (Kut) south of Koh Chang / Trat province
Used to love Lipe but went a few weeks ago and unfortunately left after 2 nights (booked 5) I know the pandemic hasn't being good but the island was very dirty and too much construction. The once beautiful sunrise beach is destroyed with longtail boats everywhere. I used to say I hope it never turned into a phi phi but at the moment Phi Phi was so much nicer. I really hope the islanders realise just what is being done to their island but I fear its now too late.
This looks amazing, but what I love the most about this video is how happy the two of you look!
IKR!!!! 🥰😊❣️
Glad to see some good old Brits enjoying their lives in Thailand. They are living the dream, as are you Chris!

True!! Many Japanese vloggers fall in love with it.

Koh Rok Noi is the best. Very very impressive. Phuket is little far from your Maldives island... Very long boat trip

I was there during covid last year and it was fantastic. Very few tourist
Koh Rok is one of my favourite places😍
You're going to the very developed small island of Koh Lipe, backpackers on a budget would probably be headed to Koh Leh.
Koh Lipe, most beautiful island in Thailand
That would be Koh Lipe my favorite spot, check out castaways on sunrise
Ah man the suspense is killing me! lol
Thanks for sharing your retirement lifestyle❤️
Did you work on the "Wolf of Wall Street?"
Paladise island 😯😲😉👍
Phuket island is one of the most yachting islands in the world.
Who may not be known that Thailand is the source of custom-made yachts both domestically and exported.
