Hey Canadian dude we have that same kind of water in Eastern Canada ! Eh when I fish bluefin tuna over there we saw that was amazing colour was green even when you flush the toilet it went through coming over there November have a good day😎
We just did this trip with Alex yesterday and were blown away by the experience, if you're looking for a once in a lifetime experience that captures the beauty of Thailand and some magic thrown into the mix, this is a must. Alex is personable, professional and he made the trip engaging and informative. We were fortunate to visit four caves and their associated lagoons and be the only ones inside for the majority of the time - our own little secluded world. This tour was highly personalized, with just the two of us along with Alex and the two crew members of the Five Star speedboat. Boating and paddling among the towering islands was impressive. While the tour isn't inexpensive, it was well worth every Baht. Highly recommend!
you talk about seeing something beautiful the caves and lagoons were awesome and then top it off with a sunset and the glowing water so cool would be a awesome trip whenever i get to thailand this would be on my list thank you sir for this video
WOW, this is so wonderful. I have seen the phosphorescent of sea water in a TV series. But I never thought it is a real thing. Until I have seen your video today. Thank you so much.
Alex is such a wonderful guy! If I ever visit Phuket I will 100% book Alex for a tour. He should take beer, and other drinks for those who don’t drink alcohol 😌 I hope Alex’s tour gets lots of bookings!
Yup I will deff be doing this on my trip to Thailand! Alex has been doing this for years but his smile looks full of happiness everytime. I can’t wait to go!
This is the tour I've been looking for and I've watched the channel for nearly 3 years now, going back to Thailand in November 2023 dragging friends with us this time and visiting phuket for a week will be looking this up
OMG, that looks spectacular... I might be out there end of next year and will definitely put this on the list.. Alex seems super sweet and I'm happy for him!!!!
That was brilliant. So pleased that Alex can do these tours (and definitely need beers for sunset). Chris - you make things happen for people - well done.
Yup, its the same-same at Koh Lanta and down to Koh Lipe! Once you see the bioluminescence plankton you will never be the same! It's like seeing aurora borealis in the water, you can actually pick up the grains of glowing plankton in your hand. Totally cool! Thanks, Gary & Linda
I once saw them when I went sea diping at SATAHEEP CHONBURI (Navy Base Camp). And 30 years later I watched it in LIFE OF PI the movie…. The real thing is even more magical.
@@helee28 we left for an evening cruise from Saladan. We were south of Saladan on the west side of the island. We also saw glowing plankton on Koh Lipe in 2020.
@@Gary_and_Linda wow 😳 after travelling for years I don't really get excited about sight seeing or 'things to do'. But this, this I can't wait to 'do'. Sounds magical
Wow, I could say that you're our travel pioneer. I've been in Phuket for almost 17 years and never heard of that. Congrats and TYVM to share this to the world. Respect.
Have to be honest - don't know that there are very many tours I'd go on. Really like to explore on my own but...this looks like a great line up. As a former Naval Officer, Ive had the opportunity to see bioluminsecense on numerous occasions and it never ceases to amaze! It's a wonderful experience and to be in the sea and experience it on such an intimate level will most definitely be a bucket list item for many your subscribers. Looks like you, Alex and 5 Star Marine have ginned up a winner. May just have to bring my "Thai family" down for the tour when in country in May.
Oh my! What an awesome tour! Alex is a terrific tour guide ... that would be a tour. We would definitely go on if we could do it quietly like you did and not be crowded out by other tourists. 😊❤ The scenery that Alexshowed you (minusother people) is what I look for doing tours. Too many people ruin the natural part of a tour. Beers not something we drink but if there was some Soda Water or Coke Zero, he'd be our friend. That bioluminescence is awesome! And those stars are amazing. Both thumbs up for Alex and his tour
I have missed my trip to Phang nga back 30 years ago... Unforgettably memory in my life.. we were took to a few different caves out beyond our route we were told... the tour guys leader was amazing 👏 beautiful part of the world.
"Is this real or just tall tales? We're gonna find out! For the first time!" My dude hasnt had internet access for the past 25 years? Love your videos xD It just gets a bit strange with the internet-doesnt-exist retro roleplay.
I live in Phuket; on Phang Nga Bay.This is my back yard and I take the boat out to this fascinating bay all the time. Nothing beats the experience and beauty of it ❤
Phang Nga Bay is a must do while in Phuket, IMHO. My visits there have always been amazing. Best part is, you can go pretty much all year round. The location and nature of the bay are such that you don't have the low-season scary seas like in the Andaman Sea off Phuket's west coast.
I'm thai living in FL. I have seen bioluminescence in here FL. I love seeing a lot. It's my favorite thing in my life because it's amazing. I know that it's not many place in the world has bioluminescence. I dream to take my parents to see bioluminescence once in the life time. I think it's impossible because it's very expensive to take them to FL. So, this is the great news knowing that my home country also has bioluminescence. I feel like my dream is back to live. Thank you for sharing this.
The only time I saw water glowing was doing some snorkeling in kho phi phi at night and seeing planktons illuminating. I’ve never seen anything like that , it was amazing.
I approve of the tour! Thanks for the previews! Also as far as drinks I think having a full option of beers and non alcoholic drinks would be great. I know for me I wouldn’t mind a Thai ice tea, or coconut juice or something healthy
5 star, This is such a super good vdo. Funny vibes as you always and also a documentary. Oh mannn super enjoyable. I can feel how much effort you want to show to your subscribers.
Watched so many of your videos Chris and yeah impossible to rank them, but this was very cool. Thanks for the tour... Alex is great. Thanks also to 5 Star Marine on Phuket.
That looks amazing! I've been fascinated with bioluminescence ever since the museum of natural history in NYC had an exhibit. Count me in when i get there.
100% Shaun should let Alex do this tour and absolutely have some beers for the sunset. I will definately do this tour when I return in December and another one I need to talk Jay into going on!
Thanks for the tour , it was spectacular . Even bio luminescence was visible in west coast of india an year back in mangalore and udupi beaches its spectacular to see.
For those in the States. You can see this in the areas of N Carolina down to Georgia as well as many areas in the Caribbean (eg Jamaica). Essentially often happens in brackish waters.
If you want to do this exact day, it's available only to RW4U Viewers. Learn more and book a day with Alex here: bit.ly/3GPqJe7
