Whenever I take a short-term trip abroad, I choose the fastest way because I don’t want to waste time, however as I see Chris using many kinds of transportation and enjoy feeling local atmosphere, I want to try “the cheapest way” next time😍🇹🇭💕
So great to see Mr.Eung's restaurant full of people. The other cafe with the view was amazing too. Thanks for the video Chris, looking forward to more videos in my favourite island Samui
Hey Chris, great video. I was having a bad day, it's dark and gloomy here in the UK in the winter and work sucks. Watching your video took my back to my travels in Thailand and made me realise that life's not always like this. You did that, thanks man.
Great video, Chris! You did a great job in putting this together, will always take your advice if I ever go to there. You are easy to follow because you never miss the deals along the way. Cheers!!
Hey Chris, I'm making my 4th trip, in less than 2-1/2 years, to Thailand in less than a week! My Thai wife and I plan to drive her car from Patong to Donsak on 3/29/23. Then ferry it over to Koh Samui. On 4/3/23, we plan to ferry everything to Koh Phangan (Full Moon Party!). Then, on 4/7/23, we'll ferry from Koh Phangan to Donsak, then drive to Patong. This video answered all of the questions I had regarding the drive from Patong to Donsak. Thanks!
Chris :). Love your beard man, first and foremost... but, a close second, THIS video is awesome :). Your editing is always getting better (nice work team!!) - keep it up! Rock on.
Your timing is impeccable. I was explaining to my wife last night we may need to fly to Phuket for a week first in Dec, to which she replied: "But how do we get from Phuket to Samui." Bingo!
Samet-Nang-She is a popular tourist destination for Thai people. I love car touring because we can stop by beautiful hidden gems places if you are not in a hurry and have enough time. This video is awesome Chris
Great video Chris! Have been watching you from the beginning of pandemic and you inspired me to start my own channel but it is for russian-speaking people only ))) Thank you for that and all the best with your fantastic channel!
I like this VDO very much. I 'm Thai but I never seen such a beautiful view before Thank you that you do the Best Thing for Thailand Good & Great Job ka Khun Chris
Nice work Chris - if the ferry goes regularly you could probably make a day of it seeing some of those magic views and experiences along the way - Many Thanks 🍻😎👌🙏👍
So glad Mr Eung’s still here apparently weathered through the pandemic. Haven’t come to my villa for 2 years which is a few minutes walk uphill. Food so good I’d eat there whenever I came back.
On my first trip to Samui we ended up flying into Surat Thani and taking the bus to the ferry. Was a great time to get to see some sights on the way to the island, it wasn't as clear as it is for you. That day was foggy.
The old section of the bridge you were on in Phuket has a history - it's aka "The Lover's Bridge". The story goes - rich young girl, poor young man fall in love yet, her family forbids it. Next thing you know - the two tie themselves together, and jump into the water to be together for eternity. Also - the pier on Samui is called the Nathon Pier. Been looking for airline tickets lately - we'll be back soon!
Hi Chris if you happen to drive back to Phuket, may be considered drive to a different way back to Phuket and stop by at beach town call Khao Lak. They are popular for surfing for beginners, the beach call Memories beach, the vibes is different from others beach in Thailand. Khao Lak town itself very beautiful and plenty of budget & Luxury hotel. I love my hometown hope everyone can see it .
Nice video as always! A tip for a proper pronunciation of the Phang Nga Province, while the "ng" at the end of "Phang" is still stuck in your throat, add a long "aaa" at the end. You can use this trick with other Thai words that starts with "Ng" as well, just imagine an imaginary word in your head which ends with "ng" and get that "ng" stuck in your throat and start the word with that
Samed Nang Chee sunset view is always OUT OF THIS WORLD! Like Lord of the Ring or Avatar tales. Ps. When I see Chris’s whole family travel together, his wife, his daughter and his nephew, my heart is blown up with happiness. 💝💖❤️ Ps.2 Anna is so beautiful as a fairy princess on the literature.🌟💫😇
Thanks a lot for this episode. I have experienced the bridge and the Bay view cafe today. Your map links are spot on. We had a fabulous time. On the way even saw a snake crossing the road.
Great video! As I say every couple of weeks, hoping to get there shortly and repeat this journey. Waiting to hear the latest, regarding Test & Go, rebooking everything, get the pass and then cross my fingers for a negative test this time!
That Flight ✈️ bus 🚌 ⛴ bus 🚌 trip is always a rush, love the suratani Airport! ❤️ be sure to stock up on your favourite snacks from Costco as they may not have it on the ferry. Best food in the world is Thai food ! Once you have it in Thailand, nothing compares!
Samet Nangshe is the best! I was up there a couple of years ago, and had one of the best burgers I've ever had up there. Great video, I can't wait to be coming in on the Phuket Sandbox in less than a month now. Keep up the great videos.
I couldn't wait to see the fairy you were talking about! And then, it hit me: Ohhh... the FERRY... Ok, I feel like I've been cheated a bit but it's still a nice video...
Great video as always Chris. Ink Gin very special here in Australia. My favourite drive in the world is this trip, though we have done it to Krabi rather Samui. Next trip will definitely be to beautiful Koh Samui, can’t wait. Best wishes from downunder.
Epic video Chris, the quality of the shooting and editing is just getting better and better. It seemed like a long day but a flight via bkk would have probably ly ended up pretty similar. Great to see Khun Eeng busy again, long may it last.
Hi Chris , another great video , love the idea of driving around Thailand and island to island , this video shows some great info but also gives you the drive to have a go at it , great scenery as well. Can’t wait to get back , this may be another thing we do, Drive it
Wow, didn't know you can travel by land from Phuket to Koh Sumi, what great way you miss so much when travelling by plane.. Definitely need to do thing on my return to amazing Thailand.. Can you travel by boat from Koh sumi to Bangkok ?
Great video... if you do the trip by bus it is really cheap... but then you can't do the stops in all the beautiful places. By the way I think Koh Samui is Thailand's third-largest island, after Phuket and Koh Chang.

I watched all of your videos and remember that restaurant, it was empty during your last visit. Glad to see that business is picking up again!
Awesome video and commentary always Chris! Loved the adventure 😊
Is it Nathon Pier?
You did a great job to bring thousands of your followers across the lovely ocean. I feel like I’m in your back seat 😄🤟
Great video, Chris! You did a great job in putting this together, will always take your advice if I ever go to there. You are easy to follow because you never miss the deals along the way. Cheers!!
Did the same trip in the summer. Really enjoyed the drive... back to paradise...
What a great video, nice & cheap way to travel, but the best is the view of Phang Nga Bay from the restaurant.
Thanks!
It is a great video for us to reminisce the past journeys we have visited to Phuket and other places of Thailand. thank you very much!

I like this VDO very much. I 'm Thai but I never seen such a beautiful view before Thank you that you do the Best Thing for Thailand Good & Great Job ka Khun Chris
Thank you so much a gain and a gain.
Possibly the best road in Thailand. We belted along from Phang-nga to the ferry at around 140kmh+ because it's a great road and largely empty
Terrific video. I will be there at some point and time. Thailand looks absolutely beautiful.
I've said it before, but I really like the pace of your videos. Not too fast, but not a lot of empty space. Good stuff.
Such a beautiful view. I’m heading to Samui on 23rd, I can’t wait.
Test and go might be back in Frebuary. Follow the news the government will have a solution after meeting on Friday afternoon.
Nice work Chris - if the ferry goes regularly you could probably make a day of it seeing some of those magic views and experiences along the way - Many Thanks 🍻😎👌🙏👍

Beautiful drive. Too bad you didn't have enough time to catch lunch at that beautiful spot. Great video buddy.

great video Chris. Sometimes it's not always about the destination, but the journey. What a ripper. Love to do that one day too :) cheers mate
