G’day Everyone. It’s good to be back! I hope you’re doing amazing!!! Remember to warm up before this exercise video. Let me know how you went below and I will see you again soon. Stay Moving! - Mike 🫶
Apart from getting older (who isn’t?), I also suffer from clinical depression. I can’t express how much your exercise routines coupled with your personality help me both physically and mentally. Thank you so much, Mike.
So good to see you back, Mike. You are right, this was perfect for coming back after a slight time off period. I like the slow and controlled movements for the strength training. Sometimes I have the tendency to move too quickly and that is letting gravity help. I enjoyed this workout. Thank you!
HELLO FROM WA this beautiful Easter Sunday and a huge welcome to everyone’s number one exercise Physiotherapist. The break has done you good Mike. The new video is a very concise compilation of your tried and tested exercises designed to help seniors with compromised abilities some simple others big. The carefully selected exercises reinforce strength, balance and relaxation techniques which although we’ve done before require constant revisits lest one will lose what was previously achieved. Good reminders for us all. Many thanks again Mike, keep the help coming.
Thank you Michael, that was a nice Easter present. Wishing you and yours a Happy Easter. Bet your weather is warmer than mine, +11°c here in my part of Germany.
Thanks for this complete little package of a workout, Mike. We all underestimate the power of small steady movements, and this is a great reminder that you don't have to swing high or fast to get results. Slow and steady is the way to go.
First attempt at returning to excercise after my husband passed away with a cardiac arrest he was pretty fit too played golf twice a week walking football skittles apart from being my best friend and husband for 54 years. I am returning and giving it a go so thank you for being here. Kind regards.
This is a good one. Must say that I had to hold on to the chair for the balance exercise. I really need to work on that. Will keep at it. Thanks, Mike.
Good morning Mike and to my fellow seniors all over the world who follow your amazing exercises. I followed your latest exercise video and I’m so happy with my balance progress. I’ve been following your balance exercises and I’m so pleased with my progress being able to maintain it like you do. You are definitely 100% correct that with perseverance we seniors will be able to reach a good level of balancing skills. This is a good tool so as to prevent falls as we age. Thank you again Mike you are a Godsend.
This routine provided a measure of where I am in my strength and cardio abilities. My squats were much lower than what was required (and I have compromised knees), the push routine which I learned from you went perfectly, and the pull I did with 5 lb. weights using both arms simultaneously, twice. The ball grip routines I did twice using both hands each time. I often do you great hand exercise with tennis balls while watching TV. Balance was easy because I do more challenging balance exercises several times a week, and the marching...had to keep myself from running around the room! by slowing down Great routine which will provide a prompt for all the exercises which I can do at my level. I feel great and I owe all this to you, Mike, who got me started on this journey...Anastasia
Warm regards to everybody from Panamá. As always, thx Mike for ur concern for us seniors. Will try my best to work out if my knee allows me. Happy Easter to every one!😊
First day of me doing this video! Wow, what a work out!!! I walked 3 times the perimeter of my 1.54 acres before beginning my regimen of 4 of your videos! I have one more but am out of breath at 72 years old! I am going to get stronger and work in the 5 video. I am going at it every two days to not get so sore. Thank you for staying with us on our journey to bet fit and lose weight!!! I have added fasting for 16 hours every two days, as well!!! I am determined to see results of coming down from 170 pound body on the 5'3" frame!
Hi Mike, great to see you back!😊 a very enjoyable video,I will certainly add this one to my collection of your workouts! Thank you for everything you do😊❤️xx
Hey Mike. It's good to see you again. I need to do something. I am way out of shape and it hurts to do anything. I will try this program and see what happens. Thanks for sharing.👍👍🍁
I am so very thankful for your wonderful help!!! I am 81 years ago and just discovered the term "Sarcopenia!" Do you have exercises specifically for this? Please, I hope so! Thank you so very much! Mike
Hey Mike. I focus a lot of my exercises on improving strength and hypertrophy, so pretty much all videos will help and you eventually want to move to using weights. Check out my article on the More Life Health website in regards to strength training.
Hi Mike, so happy to see you again. Great workout, enjoyed doing it after I had exercised before for 26 minutes. Adding both workouts was excellent! Happy Easter to you!
Thank you Mike for your videos for seniors. I accidentally came across your videos and started following them. I could see tremendous improvement. I liked the fact that they're short videos (it will be over before we get bored), they are easy to do, not at all strenuous. I just have one question. You have put out so many videos. Which are the ones that we have to do every day? Obviously we can't do all every day. So how do we spread so we get maximum benefit? Is there one exercise we must do every day? Thanks again.
You're welcome! Exercise videos like this one can be done everyday. Work your legs, your upper body and add in some balance also. You can do this video twice or three times a day so you're getting in more sets, but work up to this if new to exercise(or you can do the longer workouts). Then if there is an area of weakness do these videos and work on this as well. and I recommend going on daily walks outside also. If you have more time you can do the longer workouts which cover the many components to improve daily functioning.
Hi Mike a great video to do every day, covers everything. Ralph is doing daily. I heard what you said about your YT & I hope everyone subscribes, hits the 👍button & notifications. Hope to see you again soon.
Thank you Mike... you are amazing and very motivating..... Just a quick question... when you do push ups ... is it ok for the knees to go past your toes when you go down? For Seniors?
Hello Mikael. Me knees are getting stiff. When are you putting out some more knee based exercises? Does shaving your legs help with mobility or are you just naturally a hairless gazelle?
I’m 63 with severe emphysema so struggle to breath allot of the time and need to get my fitness levels up but I also have osteoporosis and 8 months ago I was coughing that much I got two severe wedge fractures at T 6/7 and now have kyphosis due to the fracture Are theses excersise suitable for me and if so where are the warm ups please
