I'm here today to inform that sadly, Jiro Dan (Hideki Go actor) has passed away at the age of 74. He will forever remembered as Ultraman Jack who have brought smile and enjoyment to the kids of the Showa era. His character is really interesting and his story is also tragic. Seeing him return in Mebius, Superior Ultra 8 Brother and Ultraman Saga (and the director cut) is really wholesome. Rest in peace, Jiro Dan.😔
The Japanese construction industry is very dynamic. No matter how many times their cities are destroyed by monsters, it's rebuilt before next week's episode.
It's definitely my favorite of the Showa series, but really imo the first 14 episodes are pretty lackluster and only really starts picking up from ep 15 on (with the introduction of space monsters in ep 18).

Showa Ultraman never failed..
I’m going through all the Showa series in order, and this one looks the most promising of the three so far.
Im also on a summer marathon for ultraman :)
