They themselves probably feared if their identity got found things can be problematic from government wanting to kidnap them or evil aliens taking advantage of it and those fears are not unfounded since during the few last episodes of Mebius when Mirai identity got leaked it cause a huge fuss since the main villain put a bounty on him. Nowadays however, the Ultras very much understood humans more so I'm guessing they are more comfortable, this is especially true for Ultras that are originally an earthling..
Problem with some of them especially with the Showa ones is that they all feel so abrupt. The team saying that they knew all along that (character) was an Ultra all this while. Mebius does this the best imo, because he revealed his identity in the middle of the show. This makes GUYS be more understanding and supportive of Mirai, knowing he is fighting along side them as Mebius. Gaia does this pretty well cos Ishimuro knew Gamu was Gaia in the middle of the show and choose to stay silent about it. Geed, X and Z done this alright. Dyna did it at the final episode but it had an emotional moment with it.
I don't watch many Ultraman series but I think Ultraman Mebius revelation is the best! Especially the reactions of all crews and even the (quite silly) adjutant who defends Mirai in front of higher ups. Like I feel Ultraman Mebius's revelation is so emotional and so connected with those around him. Man, it even got me crying.
Decker technically had 3 reveals. First when Ryumon found him after his defeat, second when Kirino found himself after his infection got worse, and this one.

When after Soma witnesses Kanata's identity in Decker Episode 22, during the episode 24, Soma tells Hanejiro about Kanata is Decker and told him of he knows, Hanejiro knows about his reveal when Decker is battling Gomora, after Kanata woke up and reveals his truth to Soma, he told him not to tell anyone about Kanata is Decker until it's time for him to do it in Episode 25. When Ichika knows about Kanata is Decker, she started to upsetting.
in Z's case, i thought you would use bako in the car scene, that silent is really emotional for me, but yeah i realize that the crews knew it in that scene
I never into ultraman series, but Tiga is my freakin chilhood favourite show. The opening song is iconic and one of my favourite opening of any show/series/anime till this day

A former classmate from Kahului Elementary School created an excellent variant comic called Ultra Bimbo. The drawing style was like outta the original Conan comic and Heavy Metal art. It was too hardcore and gruesome for my taste. But he drew those uniforms the same way which was totally awesome. I really miss the series. I had the original betamax TV recordings off channel 2 NBC. dyna's hits hard because captain has always looked after asuka and of course he was the one who found out/revealed it in the most father to son way posible
Whoever thinks that Dyna's reveal was so sudden, you did not watch the series the way as it's intended to be. This was not only Asuka's story. Captain Hibiki played an important role to guide Asuka, as well as the other SUPER GUTS members. He also helped Dyna that he eventually figured out who's the host. As for Tiga, Rena knew since Episode 5. And for Gaia, Captain Ishimura already knew Gamu since Episode 1 as he was a host of an unknown Ultraman.
X has the perfect balance for me, there is no silence or long dialogue like mebius or too TOO long transformation like Z and awkward staring look im the ultraman, it just quick dialogue "im gonna stop him", proceed to henshin, and fly off to fight, chef kiss~
And then there was Taro where Kotaro only revealed his identity to the one person he can count as a brother. Alien Valky's fight was pretty cool too in the finale.
Asuka wasn't trying to Hide his identity at the very beginning , he tried to show off but bite him in his ass , Dyna didn't show up causing him to had an accident

やっぱり隊長は実は気づいていたってパターンが1番好き
隊長格の人は「人を見抜く力」を持っているので、薄々でもかなり早い段階で知ってしまいますね。
特に「帰ってきたウルトラマン」でのMATの伊吹竜・2代目隊長(演：故・根上淳さん)は22話からの登場でしたが、おそらくは33話辺りで既に「郷秀樹」が「ウルトラマン(現：ウルトラマンジャック)」であろうと薄々勘づいているフシがあります。
そして最終回では「郷がウルトラマン」と確信している表情が見て取れます。
おそらくは、伊吹隊長がシリーズ中で一番早く勘づいていたかと思われます。

あと珍しい事に、ジャグラーが熱くなって声援を送って、最後にはバコさんと熱い握手を交わしてる所も好きでした。
