Thanks Tom. Yea, you were on the money with your great ST review. I would love to drive one but it seems to be more marketing and the transmission is weird like you noted. Of course the 2.7 is an awesome engine. Maybe it was all the crazy pavement we experienced over two weeks as everyone complained when on the grooved California concrete highways and any other rough highway pavement.
Great video Beyond!! I have a 2019 Edge Titanium. Super excellent SUV. Not quite sure what you mean about the ride quality that it will "punish you". I find my Edge is super smooth on the road and over bumps. I love my Edge. Reliable, good on gas (for the size and weight), and super handsome. Welcome to take a look at my videos and see how I've applied several cool appearance mods. I also did a comparison between the 19' Edge and the new 2021. Peace!
Thanks for watching. Love the color on your Edge and some great content. Punish may have been a little exaggeration. All comparisons are relative and I had just spent three weeks in a more floaty Escape and also some time in a Lexus RX350 for about a week. But I do love the handling of the Edge and Ford’s turbo engines. Great to hear from an owner as I think these are a little overlooked and are great to drive with a nice substantial feeling. Thanks again for watching and sharing your car with us all.
Thanks for watching. No, this 2020 was only wired CarPlay. I was just in a 2023 and it had wireless that worked fairly welll. Plus Ford updated the center screen to a vertical Mach-E like format. The center gage cluster still is antiquated.
I agree and bought a used 2020 Ford Edge Titanium AWDwith 140,000 miles. I put on 50,000 more miles so it's now at 201,000 miles with no problems so far! I agree, I only get 23 mpg with 90% highway.
@@SaraK_69 Just following the manual or any additional services? I’m reading about things such as cleaning carbon build up in intake valve, changing power transfer unit (PTU) fluid, and changing rear drive unit (RDU) fluid - have you done these as well? What not so obvious maintenance should i know about? Also if you have a panoramic moonroof, how have you maintained it?
Thanks for your question. We use a little bit of everything but primarily GoPros and a Sony A7III. More info and experience with the new Insta360 Go 2 at the following : ruclips.net/video/ejjXDfnnIxA/видео.html
Interesting, I thought the Ford Edge handled beautifully over bumps and rough roads. However, yes over a speed bump it does punch through, but I prefer the stiffer handling over too floaty.
Thanks again for commenting. Hope you are enjoying your Edge. I may have exaggerated a little bit but probably should have clarified that it was only over the biggest ruts and rough pavement the jolts came through. But I did emphasize how much I enjoyed the handling. As a Mazda owner I alway value handling and road feel over cushiness. Thanks again!
Last year I drove the Edge ST and it was compliant over bumps, I'm surprised that the ride feels on a stiffer side in the Titanium. Great vid!

@@BeyondTheTestDrive peace my friend! Have a great weekend!
Is the CarPlay only wired or does it do wireless as well?

Thanks for watching! That’s quite a bit of driving on that Edge. They are enjoyable to drive and 23 is not too bad. All the best and happy motoring.
May i ask what maintenance you’ve done to keep it going so long? I’m buying a 2020 titanium awd at 67k miles
@@navneetmacherla6772 full synthetic coil changes on time and every maintenance on time. Not one single problem so far.
