I've had this car for almost 2 years now and this informative video has taught me SO much more than I googled. Tim Bart's - THANK YOU! Your tone and clear explanations were fantastic. I came here for the headlights and stayed for the entire video.
I enjoyed watching your video. I just recently purchased a used 2020 Ford edge titanium. I would like to know how I can get an owners manual. There was not one in the glove compartment.
I took delivery of a 2020 Edge Titanium two weeks ago. This is a good overview for a new owner. The only thing I have found that is a big disappointment is a convenience feature that I have on my 2012 Ford Explorer and even on a 2008 3 Series BMW. That is power retractable side view mirrors. I assumed with a vehicle of this level it would be standard. I never even thought to verify if it was present any more than I would check to see if the vehicle had a horn or head lights. I unfortunately, just assumed. I use it routinely in parking lots in the city in which I live. Many of the parking lots have narrow parking spots and retracting them makes it easier to pass between vehicles and keeps them from being damaged if some one hits them. It is not convenient to walk around the vehicle to retract the passenger side mirror after parking. After I realized It did not have it, about two days after taking delivery, I called the dealership and was informed that this is not even available on the Edge at any level. The Ford design team dropped the ball on this one.
@@TruthOverLies Thanks. Yes they are available on the Explorer as well but not on the Edge model. Like I said Ford dropped the ball. An inexpensive feature that is standard on most vehicles and not available on the top of the line model of the Edge. Very disappointing.
When the 2021 Ford edge comes out I like to know if you can get it fully loaded with rear rear heated seats and rear cooling seats with all the bells and whistles
Wonderful video...we are in Missouri...we lease a 2019 Lincoln Mkz now and will be considering a Lincoln corsair or an Edge...we will be Leasing with potential of buying at the end...you have given us another dealer to talk with...
Great video, however I don’t recall you mentioning the side sensors located on the left and right side front and rear fenders . My 2020 Titanium has them as well as the vehicle you were reviewing . UPDATE. Bart, the sensors that I’m talking about are the ones that are located on the front and rear bottom fenders on both sides of the vehicle ( (left and right side) What’s there purpose?
I think they’re for the BLISS blind spot notification that lights up in the side mirrors when you have a vehicle next to you.. also mine beeps when I’m in a very narrow road and people are parked both sides...warning me about hitting them (not that I have done it 😋)
