Thanks for this video,I treated myself to this recently,I'm 51 years old and I don't know how to install stuff at all, but your instructions was easy and the system itself was super easy to hook up🥰
Thank you so much for this video. My switch didn't come with an instruction manual that explained any of this (which I'm not happy about since I bought it brand new). The most it had were the basic warnings
Same here. These consoles are coming with less and less paperwork every generation. The health warnings are legal requirements I guess but anything else is wasted paper to them.
Thank you so much. This was better than all the other help videos. They had the cords already plugged in and I didn't know that the charging cord was the cord meant to be plugged in. You explained it step by step and it really helped.
Thank you easy instructions really fast straight to the point and this is way better than any any other video that I’ve seen because I was trying to hook my Nintendo to the TV
Easy Set-up, works every time. 1. Connect the cables for power and the HDMI to the docking station. (Pop the plate on the base of the docking station and you will find the ports for the power lead and HDMI) 2. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to one of the TV's HDMI ports ensuring that it is firmly connected. 3. Place the Nintendo in the docking station ensuring that it is seated correctly. Turn on the mains electric power. 4. When the Nintendo is docked make sure that it is switched on using the On/Off power switch on the Nintendo its self. 5. The green light on the docking station will show when it is connected to the TV. 6. You should be able to see the Nintendo Switch Icon in the same place you select your various other smart gadets like, Playstation etc. ** Note: When you turn off your TV the green light on the docking station will go out. When you switch on your TV also switch on the Nintendo power switch and the green light will come on.
Ur a saviour… I know it’s 2023 but gonna get my first gaming device in years. And I ain’t gonna wait for the rumours so called switch 2/pro that’s coming out 2024/2025
Thanks so much for this. I honestly couldn’t figure out how to set the Switch in the dock properly to make it show up on the television. I followed your lead and left the joycons on while I inserted it into the dock.
Thank you so damn much, I'm someone who really only learns from watching someone irl and this is one of the few rare cases that I actually understand this through a video.
Thankyou for this. I thought something was missing I was so confused 😂😂then when I realised the thing comes off and then you plug it in,I was like ooohhhh😂
Genuine question because I've never owned a switch before you know that little device that he slotted the joy cons into does that come with the switch or do you have to buy that separately? Thanks
Just switched from an original to the new Zelda Oled and was about to give up Would it hurt Nintendo to include a lil set up card letting you know the back comes off
Hi just got this for my little boy connected it to the screen but it’s asking us to link to a Nintendo account Can we do it without one just with the games we have? How do we do that? Your video helped to get us on screen but just need an extra bit of help to play
Can you transfer saved game data from your old Switch to this new one so you don’t have to lose that saved data, and have to replay Switch games to unlock again characters, game pass characters and the like?
Thanks so so so very much I literally thought for nothing now thanks to you I have a bigger screen to play in for a sec I was in hdmi 2 and I was confused than I went into hdmi 3 and than I’m Happy so much thank you❤❤
Thank you. I’ve gotta a question, I’ve got a pro controller, so can I play with it and let the joy controller together with Nintendo switch on the dock? Or is it obligatory to remove the joy even I’m not gonna use it?
Straight to the point. Don't have to watch 17 or 20 min just to set up this. Thank you so much.
that's my goal- glad to help!
You stole my comment!!!! Exactly thank you

Thank you so much my bro, I learned a lot - It's magical for me, connect to my friend's TV 🥺❤️
I know for the Wii there is a adapter that can use HDMI si there may be one for this as well for those who have older TV's
I never used it for 1.5 years might try-out thanks for sharing
Wow thank you for the video my friend. Took out a lot of the guess work!
Ordered my Oled and arrives tomorrow… Can’t wait
Very useful video. Just brought a new Switch console last week in Tokyo ... Dont really know how to operate😅 Thanks
Thank you so much, I didn’t knew that I have to charge the console at the same time
I have a question? Do I have to unplug the Nintendo adapter after playing on the TV? Bc wouldn’t it get charged and then get ruined?
Very helpful and straightforward. I wanted to share my appreciation for the video- thank you!
Glad it was helpful!

If i have a pro controller , do i have to have the joycons attached to the tablet to set it up if i just wanna play in dock mode?

I have a one question does it have to be the exact same Nintendo switch HDMI cord? Or can I use my own?
