  • Hi everyone! In this video I show you how I painted the Academy 1/72 F-15C. I primed the model with Badger Stynylrez gray primer before painting the primary colors.

    I did not know about the blue tack being too strong, but now that you mention it... Crap, I think you're right! I never noticed that before. And using that template to mask the wheel hubs... I've always done it the opposite. That is a great idea!

      I’ve only used blue tack once. Found it harder to remove than white tack. It also left a residue. Yeah, the cheap circle template seems to work best for me!

    Do you ever have trouble with the paint peeling when you take the tape off? I’ve started to clear coat each layer before I tape over it, because I had lots of peeling problems. I’d love to not have to do that, so if there’s some kind of tip for keeping it from peeling I’d be very appreciative! Cool video and cool channel! Thx a lot

      Not since I started using Badger’s Stynylrez primer. You can use primer from a spray can too. I usually try to paint at night, so the paint has a good 12-24 to dry before I mask. Thanks for watching!
