- I solo play Silver Bayonet: Egypt. In the first part of this mini-campaign, my Ottoman troop must clear an ancient ruin of bandits and secure the priceless treasures before the snakes and crocodiles tear them apart!

Hi. I just picked up a copy of the Egypt book. I’m a big fan of The Silver Bayonet. I watched your play through, and enjoyed it. But I was a bit puzzled why you made no use of the fate pool dice you had available to you (see pg. 69 in the core rule book). These would have allowed you to re-roll individual dice when you missed, reduced damage done to your guys (this would have been really helpful for you in this game), and redirected the movement of monsters. The Fate Pool mechanic is one of the key features in SB, and one of the reasons why I like the game system so much.
Thanks for watching! I'm going to try to remember to use them more in the future, sometimes it's tough to keep track of everything and film haha
