Grant, this is a great overview of the game/system. You've incisively summed up the appeal of this series. I scoffed at the concept originally and then decided to try B-17 and Phantom and found out I was WRONG! Thanks, as always! Nick Stasnopolis
Were you aware that the campaign/scenario sheets are full of errata? See BGG files for replacements. Still, for such a costly game, kinda bugs me that they won’t support this by reprinting those. Enough that this game keeps dropping down my to play list and wary of DVG now in general. Also, your channel is one of the best. I think it would be the best if you add a few turns of play through of good games rather than reviewing every last obscure game out there. Yes there are other play throughs out there, but not a lot of good ones. Yours would be excellent.
While I didn't mention that in the review, I did know about the errata. I found a few that made the game more difficult to get but didn't play the rest. Thanks. I do try to do playthroughs as you know but frankly this one was a game that I was less confident about because of the rules and some of the ambiguities that I didn't want to lead people astray.
Damn, I wanted to get zero leader but when the rules are so Bad written.... I mean my english is not the badest but as a german i think i wouldnt get through it when they are confusingly written.
I loved Zero Leader, and don’t recall any issues with the rulebook. Like most games, many of us still had questions but they were all promptly answered by the designer, either on BGG or the Zero Leader Facebook group.

Thanks for the overview. I'm very interested in the upcoming Mustang Leader game in particular.
I often hope that I can eventually "customise the crap" out of my life! Great overview!
Hear Hear!
Good review. Not sure why its called Stuka Leader given the variety of aircraft on offer.
Sold out at Noble Knight and Amazon
Thanks for this useful review. Next one Storm of Steel Ju-87 STUKA ?
Love this game.
let's see a playthrough video so we can judge whether its a winner or stinker
Not going to do one with this game. Too long and I didn't feel as confident with it as I would like to make the playthrough worthwhile.
Looked amazing but DVG products are so expensive here in Australia

There was only a few Campaigns that had too low of SO originally. They were still playable, but awfully difficult!!! 95% of the game is not affected.
This game is having A LOT of erratas in rules and on material. A shame
Won’t buy another DVG Leader game due the horrible rules of Zero Leader. Too bad..production value is good but the rules are a mess.
I would agree but they are making strides. I know that have some new folks helping with development and rules were a focus. Still need work though!
