My usual car valeter used this on my 2013 Skoda Superb on April 19th this year after a full safe wash, chemical decontamination and a mostly single stage machine polish and shes looking amazing... Mind you shes only done 65,000 miles and been exceptionally well looked after by her previous 2 owners.
Thanks for watching buddy. Glad the product is working for you. We will be focusing on full strength coatings over the next few months so keep an eye out for our future videos. Thanks again for watching and leaving a comment.
Nice work. What happens if you're a bit of a clot and get these substances (so ceramics in general) on the rubbers, plastics or chrome bits?is it best to mask up those areas? Cheers
Hiya buddy. A very valid observation. The simple answer to your question is yes, it is best to tape up your car to avoid the ceramic getting on plastics and rubber. When I do a car I do an assessment and judge whether it is needed. Further, having been ceramic coating cars for many years, I am confident now to apply without the need to tape up. That said, with certain cars, and the fact that the paintwork is adjacent to plastics, I do sometimes make the decision to mask up. With this car, there was hardly no plastic adjacent to the paint surface I was coating. Moving nearer the windows I was especially careful and had no probs. If you are unsure, or want to mitigate against ceramic coating on unwanted surfaces, then yes it is best to mask up.
@thecarboutique2467 Can you comment on which is best, Mile Deep Shield applied every 3 month via canon or Synergy? How might they compare in terms of performance? Cheers
Great review Andy (and Karl), looks like a great stepping stone for an amature to start with before trying one of the other more trickier coatings. How long did it take to JUST apply the coating as I'd be working outside aswell?? Car did look fantastic at the end 👏👏
Hiya buddy and thank you as always. We had fun doing this review. Regarding time taken to apply the coating. Roughly about an hour on your own. We did it in about 40 with both of us and delays for filming.
@@thecarboutique2467 thanks Andy for the reply. I would love to try my hand at a ceramic coating but it's just a confidence thing or the lack of!! Mr Mcmahon keeps telling me to give it a go as its fairly idiot proof (make of that what you will 🤣🤣). One day mate!!
Hiya buddy and thanks for watching. The instructions say leave between 30secs and 5 dependent on temperature and humidity. As you are doing it outside I would apply to the inside of your door shut and use this as a test panel. Try at 30secs and work up to a few minutes and identify your sweet spot for removal.
Albeit I can see no reason why you could not apply to glass however, I do not apply any coatings to any glass especially the windscreen. Just my thing but I prefer just to keep glass clean. If anything I have applied Glaco products to glass but that is far as I take it. There are of course dedicated glass coatings but alas I have not used them yet as it is not my preferred route to take.
David. I saw your comment about this being a paid promotion. If you would like to leave your email, I am happy to provide proof of purchase. TCB has never taken payment for any review. I do not usually entertain comments like this with a response but as you are factually incorrect, I feel a comment is required. But again I thank you for watching the video and leaving your comments. Cheers.

A good honest review and on point. Well done that man! What polish and pads did you use during polishing phase?
Hi Gary, we used Zvizzer thermo pads and compound
Hiya Gary and thanks for watching. We used all Zvizzer. We used medium compound with a fine pad. We did step up to medium cut pads for a few bits.
Hi, did you use the whole 30ml for that GLE? Could I do body and wheels on my C Class with 30ml?
No buddy. Plenty left for wheels.
Thanks for the great content. I’m going to use this to coat my 2024 Tesla model y. Please can you advise how long to leave if coating outside? Thanks

@@thecarboutique2467 thanks for the reply. Would you coat the roof as it’s glass?
Any advice on this?

Reply made buddy and thanks for watching the video and leaving a comment. Cheers.
It’s grabby , not overly slick finish at all & absolutely STINKS of strong solvents . A very average coating to say the least
Thank you for leaving your opinion on this product.
