- Fertilizing your pineapple trees is very important. There are a wide variety of fertilizers to choose from. These are a few that I have personally used and had a positive result. I recommend Alaska fish emulsion. I have a question went to the grocery store and I bought for China food and I I took the crown from the pineapples and I planted them in water it was over a week ago they're starting to get brown and white spots which I think they are dying what can I do to save my plants it's pretty cold outside I did not want to take them outside I live in El Paso Texas which is a Zone 8A what can I do to save my dying pineapple
Does pineapple likes full sun, semi shade or shade? Mine pineapples are little light in color and burnt on the tips..I did prune the burnt tips off..

How often do you feed them?
