Maybe you could have had beerus come during the 7 year time skip. The plot of becoming ssg would require less saiyans for the ritual. Training with whis would have been similar to what goku and vegeta endured in super. By the time the buu arc starts, goku would have had some knowledge of ui which would make sense since hes been training with whis. Once again, for the plot, buu could have been made to rival ss blue.

From a martial arts standpoint I feel as Ultra Instinct could work in Original Dragon Ball since Ultra Instinct does return to original martial arts based combat.
Master Roshi displayed an ability to use this technique in the Tournament Of Power located in the manga but this was the last time.
Goku taking his training to the next level while training under Master Roshi would be interesting for the next three years deciding to instead rely on his senses and instincts instead of thinking.
And over time allow this martial art training to develop and become more used to the point it is mastered.

Loved every minute of this! Imma just jot down some ideas that may or may not be cool~
1. What if Jiren and Goku met before TOP? (Could have them meet as early as you wanted, and perhaps give Jiren a small tip on Goku's power/give Goku a small tip on Jiren's power. This could mean that Jiren may feel the need to train even more before the TOP, thus pacing with UI Goku better, or Goku could understand the gap between them and train more before the TOP)
2. What if Beerus killed Bulma? (Now, this may seem a little crazy, but instead of just slapping Bulma what if Beerus was enraged enough to actually kill her? This would all trickle down to Vegeta going bezerk, losing, and being subdued long enough by the other z-fighters for the normal Battle of God's story to commence whenever Goku swoops in and challenges Beerus. Although at the end, while Beerus would ultimately decide to spare the Earth because of his great fight with Goku, both Vegeta and Goku would be far more dismayed and hateful towards Beerus. Perhaps Vegeta could even plan on secretly overtaking Beerus, or at the very least collaborate with Whiis only and not show Beerus the same respect that he did in canon. Just a few thoughts, UvU)
3. What if Goku became a kid again right before the Radit'z Ark? (So just like in GT, Goku is accidentally wished to be a kid again-a few months after Gohan is born and right before Radit'z comes to Earth. Now, Goku is stuck in this body, and he has to face Raditz and the other Sayains while being stuck in this body... And this could all snowball until, after Piccolo dies before the year on the Earth Dragon Balls are reset, he is forced to go to Namek and face the Freiza force while still being stuck as a kid. This could make for some interesting dynamics and perhaps even different interactions with Vegeta, Raditz, and Nappa-and the other fighters, of course. Idk, but it just seems like a cool idea!)

@@nigelo Hmm, yeah I see what you mean. Maybe Goku being a kid could make Vegeta mellow up faster and keep Nappa/Vegeta both alive to fight Freiza, which would be interesting. Or maybe being a kid could nerf Goku a little and slow the progress of his strength throughout, and it could play on Piccolo's character and Future Trunks/the heart virus and stuff. I feel like there's some ways to change the little intricate details which would be neat, but I do agree that it would take a lot of creativity to really change the story as a whole.

I feel like a good way to keep the “there’s no way for him to have this by now” aspect you mentioned would have been to make it where the Spirit Bomb does grant him UI for a bit… just to have his back burst like in the ToP and him dying. He got a power he wasn’t ready for and paid the price.

You're a beast at coming up with stories, here's one I think you could definitely take on. So I'm the Season finale of Marvel's What If, different versions of hero's are brought together to take on Ultron. You can watch it to kinda get where I'm going with this. You have made so many different stories that make great changes to different characters, Awakened Android Tien. God ki piccolo, U7 Jiren, supreme Kai Vegeta, Young Roshi, and so on. I think you should try to do a story where all these different versions have to come together to defeat a villain, I notice you don't really touch the Super Dragon Ball Heroes anime promotion, but I think for something like this cross multiverse mashup to work you might have to. It can take place after the ends of all your What If scenarios. You can choose which ones. I'd say don't try to make duplicates of characters who aren't changed that much. Like Kakarot and Goku are technically different. Legendary Super Saiyan Goku would be different as well, try to make the Z fighter team with different versions from your other what ifs, basically have them fight Fu, or Hearts, or whoever, there's a lot of leg room using villains from Super Dragon Ball Heroes, hell maybe even incorporate villains from Xenoverse. You're talented enough to make it work. Plus it would be a good promotion for your what ifs for people who watch it but haven't see the others, they can see U7 Jiren and be like "I'm interested in seeing his story and they can go and watch that series for the first time generating more views and awareness. I really hope you see this and think about this concept, hell even add Salad to it too. I think it'd be one Banger of a series to tackle. I'd love it and I'd love to see original arcs. You're good at original arcs. I hope you consider it.
In xenoverse 2 really he’s just a guy who wants to have fun experiments while Messi with timelines one he brought tapion to the goku black arc and jiren just for fun no matter what side you on you get a fun fight so maybe saw all those timelines and saw a timeline that needed some help and sent them to that timeline for a few adventures
I know this pretty much wash What if, until Black or Cell, but.
What if Gohan Rage boost was always the same (1307x during during Raditz getting headbutt by him).
Other ideas.
What if Dr. Gero was a Ally.
What if Demon King Piccolo was released early in original DB.
What if Future Timeline fused with a Past during Android Saga.
What if Zamasu went too far back and became Kid Goku.

I have one thought wouldn't goku still try learning the hakai since its still beneficial even with MUI and he already had a basic idea of it so it should go a bit faster than vegeta especially if we assume the universal assassins arrive with a hakai for goku to basically analyze, we could assume vegeta has a more refined version but goku can still erase almost anything making Moro even more fodder in the end fight
Goku isn't much of a destroyer. He could learn it but he probably wouldn't use it much.

I think Vegeta would be a god of destruction candidate (with ultra ego and hakai) by the tournament of power. By the end of the Morro arc or before Goku would probably master UI omen perfectly so that it is always active with very minimal strain. In the manga he can combine omen and other transformations which I think he would also be able to do at this point. I still don't know where ultra ego leads at this point but I think using this Vegeta would be able to use ikari to channel his rage and battle lust. By the Granola arc they would both be overwhelming stronger than in canon.

ultra instinct isn't a power up from a rage boost like super saiyan or anything like that. it's required that you must specifically train for it in order to achieve it unless you are an angel

What if Reimu Hakurei fought Cell instead of Gohan.
She hears a rumor that the occult balls, when gathered can grant any wish and in doing so, is temporarily transported outside Gensokyo's barrier because they don't actuality grant wishes.

He can get the human version, just not the divine version, technically he already had it thanks to Popo, and his other masters, but dbz gave up on true martial arts, and focused on big ki blast. At least not until he either gets ssjg or masters Whis’s training, honestly the only problem Goku would have is not having a body that can handle the God’s ultra instinct, but that’s debatable since Roshi can easily use it, but need to have it so his perverted mind cannot interfere.

I thought of this 21 hours after watching this. What if trunks didn’t go back to the past. Trunks believed at first that he changed the past by going. But intact cell was already there. You could say that trunks showing up created the scenario of cell showing up 4 years earlier since bulma didn’t get a call about the second one until after trunks shows up but if it’s multi universe theory then it might have been there already. Or because the my decided to show up and didn’t change their minds afterwards cell appeared there because of that choice. I think it would be a fun scenario.

SSR is equal to SSB, it’s just that Goku Black’s base form is higher than Vegeta and Goku’s.
I did not make this comment to make a statement about how strong SSR is, that's not the *point*. It is obvious that Goku Black's base form is stronger , but they sensed god ki in SSR, clearly not a regular SSJ. I would want everyone from now on to refrain from making some opinions off-topic about how strong SSR is, because I am talking about why would be Merged Zamasu be still that strong even if Goku Black is fused in base form.
Depends on which super you use manga or anime
The form someone is in while fusing does not effect the Fusion's overall strength.
@@covertfro5774 Some evidence to back up? Forms does increase the strenght of the respective user. Potara fusion fuses 2 individuals in their respective states and maximizes their potential, if goku black fuses while in SSJR , the fusion would retain the strenght of that form. As showed in the original timeline, even Vegito struggled a bit against Zamasu because potara fusion brought that SSJR to the maximum potential.

Ok so this is an idea I've wanted to talk about and I think it would be an interesting rabbit hole to go down.
Reincarnation of Raditz, basically take the concept of "That Time I got reincarnated as Yamcha" spinoff manga and make it someone from our world with at least a good amount of knowledge on Dragon Ball and it's spinoffs who has been reincarnated as the brother of Kakarot.
I'm imagining my own take on it with a Raditz reincarnation who is very self conscious and worried he might mess up with future during his time on the Frieza Force while he waits for the time to actually kickstart the events of DBZ.
When he reaches the point of death at the hands of Piccolo and Goku he is incredibly scared, even though he died before he was reincarnated as Raditz, it's still not something he'd want to get used too.
But he did have a plan to make sure he doesn't end up in hell for his crimes during the Frieza Force, even though he didn't want to. He reaches the front while Kami and Goku talk to King Yemma about sending Goku to King Kai so he can fight the Saiyans and the reincarnated Raditz interjects with an offer.
He would help Goku become even stronger as a sparing partner in exchange for not going to hell, the prospect of having the strongest guy he currently knows gets the Saiyan blood in Goku boiling as he decides to agree. While more hesitant King Yemma agrees to spare the Saiyan under the promise Raditz will be no longer commits any real sins, but the first sign of evil will immediately damn his soul to hell for all eternity to which Raditz agrees to these terms and accepts.
From that point things go normally as the two reach King Kai and begin training, while Goku learns the Spirit Bomb and Kaioken, Raditz turns his focus to a form of interest to him Ikari and does eventually find a way to unlock the form... Kinda.
It's worth noting Ikari seems to have two stages, the initial stage which Raditz has reached and the second stage that everyone is more familiar with. Raditz is unable to reach the second stage and theorizes it's due to lacking the true berserker Legendary Super Saiyan rage Broly had.
In terms of a power boost it's only half as strong as the Great Ape's 10x multiplier at 5x, but as a tradeoff it's not as hard to control the rage though it's a bit tricky at first for Raditz but he has an idea.
Taking a page out of Goku's book, he decides to spend a lot of his time in the transformation learning to control it more and more and maintain it for longer and longer periods of time. Similar to what Goku and Gohan did with Super Saiyan in the Cell Saga during their year in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.
Considering the first stage Ikari form isn't as rage heavy nor as hard to control as the Super Saiyan form, he masters it much faster in a about 3 to 4 months. As he and Goku train together both would become notably stronger than Goku did in canon after training with King Kai alone, he also masters the Kaioken x5 in order to match Raditz.
As Goku is about to be revived, Goku tells his friends to also revive Raditz while vouching that he has seemingly changed for the better. Now that Raditz no longer has to worry about screwing up the timeline since at this point he's already doing it, he's become more relaxed and more like his old self though still training hard for the upcoming battle.
Things would go smoothly through the Saiyan Saga as not much would change as Goku challenges Vegeta alone while Raditz watches from a distance and only hops in with his Ikari form to match Vegeta's Great Ape, though he struggles considering Vegeta is still the stronger of the two in base power and multiplier but he was merely stalling for time so Vegeta's tail would be cut off by Yajirobe.
After that Vegeta crawls into his Space Pod, swearing revenge after Goku spares him. When it's time for the Namek Saga Raditz would help Gohan, Krillin, and Bulma as the only one alive with the power to rival Goku currently.
Things would go mostly the same as Raditz would have his potential unlocked, gaining a great power boost like Krillin and Gohan as things go like canon up until it's time to fight Frieza and while he was a bit cocky with the emperor's forces he knew Frieza was a completely different beast and knew just how much stronger he was than him. He would die to Frieza's hands alongside Vegeta as they both tell Goku about Frieza and that he destroyed Planet Vegeta.
He would remain dead until the Namekian Dragon Balls revived them and sent the two to Earth, but not before getting an Ikari powered potshot at Frieza.
After that I have a few ideas. Mainly following Raditz taking up a job at Capsule Corp to deliver packages quickly thanks to his speed and strength catching the eye of a certain female researcher, the DBZ Kakarot version of Android 21 and they have a daughter Raditz names Rapunzel
Cell has Raditz's memories and DNA thus he turns that future knowledge into a double edge sword and combines his Super Perfect form with the Ikari form and kills SSJ2 Gohan forcing Raditz to reach Super Saiyan 2 himself and use the Ikari form on top of it.
After winning Raditz becomes the new rival Vegeta sets his sights on since Goku chooses to stay dead.
The Buu Saga is mostly the same up until Babidi tries to take control of Vegeta but since Vegeta has become satisfied with his battles against Raditz and finally moving on from his hatred of Kakarot.
However Babidi senses some despair and fear within Raditz due to him not fully letting go of his past life and it weighs him down thus he is the one to become a Majin and reveals a power he unlocked in secret during the 7 Years, Super Saiyan 4 forcing Goku and Vegeta to fuse into Gogeta to face him unlocking Majin Buu much earlier than canon. He is eventually able to let go of it like Vegeta did with Kakarot though.
Overall I'd say he does become a main character he doesn't always be the one to finish the main antagonist of the arc off like Goku does and instead only really steals Cell from Gohan but in a way that narratively makes sense.
I could go on with other ideas but yeah I'm just rambling. I do have an idea for a power that combines Super Saiyan God and the Great Ape called Super Saiyan 4 God not to be confused with the Limit Breaker form as that's more like SSJ4 using godly ki, this is more like a combination of the two forms that Super Saiyan can be combined with to create a form weaker than Blue but not as draining to use nor requires as much concentration.

I would say that Cell never happened because Future Trunks kills Frieza, and then in response to the Android warning, Raditz suggests the SSG Ritual, with Trunks as the focus. Nappa is still alive, making the Ritual viable, since they'd have 6 Saiyans with Future Trunks. All the others get Super Saiyan instantly, and Trunks becomes a God. He wrecks the Androids, and Base Form Cell is unable to kill him, because he's too overwhelmingly powerful for even SP Cell. This means that they only have to deal with 17 and 18 in the past, because Cell never shows up, but when Trunks returns, he explains that he ran into Cell in the future, so they need to obliterate all of Gero's lab. Baby Cell is killed, 17 and 18 are reprogrammed by Bulma to have free will, and the Android Saga is over. The timeline skips directly to Buu, because no Cell.

Ok, so I've realized that ultra instinct is not entirely efficient. He is expending a ton of energy with the aura and heat. What if mastered ultra instinct isn't truly mastered and he can push it further, suppressing the aura and heat.
Well you're correct. Even though it's called "mastered" ultra, it still isn't mastered. Goku can't tap into it at will and only can with omen. There is definitely a greater power. An example of this is in the manga when Golu used MUI against Whis, and still gets absolutely destroyed without landing a hit. And whis said himself that grand priest is way stronger than him. So yes you can definitely surpass ultra instinct.

It would make more sense if he went super saiyan god in the Buu saga, because there could be enough saiyans giving him energy for the final spirit bomb and accidentally completig the ritual without knowing it if you do the scenario right, like bringing back dead saiyans like raditz to fight Cell.
