    That is one beautiful watch! Almost an indigo blue and it looks so different as you changed the lighting on it

      No LONGINES Spotify Zulu is a breath of fresh air with GMTs , from the Arabic dial , the Zulu name it’s not trying to be anything else

    Thanks for the review and congratulations on the beautiful watch!
    In this price range I am considering 3 watches: Zulu time 39mm, black bay 54 and Riviera 39mm. If you compare the tudor to the Longines and you have to have only one - which one would you prefer? 🙂

      Well if I could only have one, I'd definitely want the watch on a bracelet. The bracelet on the Tudor Black Bay 54 with the adjustable T-fit clasp is really exceptionally. IF you haven't seen my video review of it, do check it out. Having not experienced the bracelet on the Longines Zulu Time, I can't really compare. But overall I think the fit and finishing on Tudor watches exceeds what the Swatch group is producing currently with Longines, Omega, etc. And unless you do a lot of traveling, the GMT function is superfluous, whereas the Tudor divers are elegant and robust; they dress up and dress down as needed, just what the doctor ordered for a one watch collection. However, the blue color scheme on the particular Longines I reviewed is really beautiful, so if you want that pop of color on your wrist rather than the blander tones of the Tudor, maybe go with the Longines. I'll have to check out the Riviera 39; that's not a watch I'm familiar with!

      @@americanlegendswatches thanks. It is Baum and Mercier Riviera 39mm - I love it.
      I am searching for a mechanical / automatic 3 hand watch. I have a fortis automatic 38mm chronograph, couple of quartz and want a 3 hander that can be dressed down and up.
      In the up to 4k the three I mentioned are the leaders. Then if I move up to 6k in swisss franks I am considering omega aqua terra 41mm and horage supersede date.
      Now, I love the ability to adjust the hour hand without hacking - I used to fly weekly and I hated to change the time on my fortis! Then I love a great movement and also to be able to see it - Riviera has it. Tudor is the best retro skin diver and jsving a rotating bezel is another one on my wish list! But I would miss the other two aspects. Bit I just love it. Longines has the movement, bezel and hour hand adjustment - lacks the movement display. And they all fit my 6.5 inch wrist! And I like them all!
      Aqua terra has everything apart from the timing bezel. The only watch that has everything listed is the horage supersede date! I might go and check it in person as they are an hour from where I live...
      Thanks for the feedback, it is still hard for me to make up my mind, as you see 😂

      @@americanlegendswatches Great review! How would this compare with the Black Bay 58 GMT? I slightly prefer the Longines dial but the BB is thinner I think..

    • @americanlegendswatches
      @americanlegendswatches  2 месяца назад +1

      @@therascals8237 That would make for a great head to head comparison! I feel like for the extra $1k or so you'd be getting better build quality, but the styles are quite different, so whatever matches your personal style best would be the way to go. Can't go wrong with either choice.

    Why can't Longines use the same movement L 8.445 in its gmt hydro to produce thinner case for this Spirit GMT 100 M WR? Note that its gmt hydro is 12.9mm thin (300 M WR non COSC) vs Zulu 13.6 mm thick (100 M WR COSC). Thanks for the vid, man.
