The Ford dealer refused to look into it, said its a noisy tire. No way ! I know quite a bit about cars and I know what a bad bearing sounds like. Of course it is! I bet if regular joe blow walks into a dealership with this complaint they would tell him there’s nothing wrong with the truck after several trips and lots of time and money wasted. 😡
Weird, one wouldn't assume the ABS module would be active while a vehicle was parked? Either it's a fluke, or more systems are left powered up while charging...
It will be interesting to see what the findings are, the root cause. My ABS module on my gas car kept faulting electrical problems (low and high voltage) and sometimes blaming itself (for lack of electrical power received). But it was not bad, the ABS was just more sensitive to electrical than the rest of the car’s modules. So when the electrical short found at the GEM, was “fixed”, the ABS module has been good since, no faults, never messed with it, never had braking issues either.
