Quit old video for my comment. But today i would prefer Directrouting or Operator Connect instead of using Calling-Plans. Thanks for sharing your knowledge Andy
Hi Oliver. Direct routing would always be a great solution, but for many it's expensive. Operator assist is a great solution where MS does not have a voice presence. Thanks for your nice comment and all the best, Andy
Very informative. I just switched to Teams Voice because my cell phone was the office phone for our very small nonprofit (not ideal). Although I don't need all the features you discussed, it was a great way for me to know what is out there if ever needed.
Thanks for the nice comment and for dropping by. I’m delighted to hear that and there’s plenty more teams videos on my channel. Thanks again and good luck with the studies 😀

Andy I’m currently playing with Operator Connect and I’ve had an issue where voicemail from voice numbers aren’t being delivered. Have you ever seen this issue? Looks like they are delivered to Exchange with a blank sender and are being quarantined.
Andy we run Salesforce. I emailed with a MS rep in Atlanta today. Have you heard anything about Teams Voice and Salesforce integration? Makes so much sense. Frankly messaging does too, bots, and web chat. Azure communication services would fit so nicely into Salesforce no different thank AWS.
Hi Andy, we hae MS365 Business Standard licences. Do you know if Teams Voice can be added? We would like to have a single geographic number that enables our clients to reach any of us. Thanks
Hi Andy. Really helpful video. Can I ask how Teams voice is connected to a Voip or Digital Phone system. Is it all done via Softphone installed on the Desktop ! Thank You.
Generally speaking, it’s hosted by the cloud provider, e.g. Microsoft. However, Microsoft have now open this up to offer something called operator connect which allows you to subscribe to various services who will provide this feature for you. You can of course host this on site, but you would need an SBC or session board controller Plus routing equipment in order to configure voice. Personally I go with the hosted solution. It’s much easier. Thanks again.
Hi Andy, thank you so much for this great explanation on teams voice. I have one query. I have setup the call delegation for one user but that user is not able to see the manage delegates option or dial pad in his Ms teams desktop and web teams but able to see in his mobile Ms team app. How?
Hey thanks for the nice comments and I’m delighted that you’re enjoying my videos. In terms of your query it could be a number of things. Firstly is the user correctly licences and are they using the latest build of the client. Hmm no sorry. That said Microsoft are awash with connectors at the moment. So it would not surprise me if they did.

Very appreciated.
hi there. If we got Auto Attendent incoming missed calls, can we display them into the history yet?
I know this is currently being worked on. Check out the Teams blog for the most up to date details 👍
Do you have to have an E5 license or can you do it with a Teams Phone w/calling plan?
I'm not a licensing guy, but I believe it's a premium P2 feature.
