I made the first block using my Christmas stash, along with some I am trading with a friend. A quilting buddy is a great asset.
Such a beautiful block. You did a great job. Good luck in finding your lost fabric. I have done the same thing and when I find it I certainly don't remember putting that fabric where I find it!

I hate when I misplace something! I have torn my sewing room apart looking for something and haven’t found it! Eventually it turns up! Usually, it is something that I put in a project bag for safe keeping!😅
I’m thinking about making the star of wonder also but I have 3 quilts I cut out during hurricane Beryl so I’m making myself work on them.
That other fq bundle with the cooking things is sooooo cute!!!! (The one not from FQS that ones cute also though)

Amazon has inexpensive ultra violet flashlights which are great for white on white fabrics. To tell which is the right side. While sewing I sewed the wrong side of the white on white fabrics

Those square rulers would be awesome in the giveaway. I know what you mean about some rulers being hard to read.

I've seen several people not using holiday fabrics.
Wow, I’ve been looking forward to participating in this sew along, but foolishly, I wanted to replicate the same fabrics that Kimberly is using. So I’ve had to comb the Internet to find all of the fabrics. It’s cost at least twice as much, probably three times as much, as her original kit. This is now August 1, and I’m still waiting for the fabrics, and the sew along along is done. Anyway, I’ve been printing the patterns and I will get to it, but now there’s no hurry is there? I hope you get yours finished.
Lol I started this comment to tease you about the size of your pieces. You complained that they were so small. I am currently pressing open 90 1 1/2 inch half triangles for a mystery quilt. (This had better be worth it.) 😂

I want to but because of hurricane Beryl it put a damper on it cause no electricity. I'm still trying to catch up on the Spooky and Sweet QAL Fat Quarter Shop did.

They're from @creativegrids and they are called stripology rulers.
