    Christmas duties in a Ferrari FF?!?
    You lucky bastard. That has been my boyhood dream since forever. Ever since I was introduced to the marque (via a little toy Ferrari 512TR which has since then been one of my favorite Ferraris) I've always wanted to at least try and drive one. AND HERE YOU ARE DRIVING ONE AS IT WAS A NORMAL SKODA. YOU CHEEKY LUCKY UTTER SON OF A BITCH!!!!

    This is just stunning! I already thought the 456GT was close being a "family" coupe, but this one smashes all the proper sportscar rules. I absolutely want one of these!! ...and sure i would use it as a daily drive ;)

    I was reinferring his point that I too dislike people who buy supercars & sports cars in general for the image/prestige. I like the owners who take the time to truly expsirence what these cars can do. No we don't have to drive them at the limit all the time. But hearing you've driven them as fast as you could really put a smile on my face. You ask me why I need to exsprience the max performance of a car?

  • @fazer12779

    Everyday usability is a good test. But if i'm watching a Ferrari video, I expect to see the speed footage also as this is what they were created for & it's just entertaining !

    • @paulthomson9709
      @paulthomson9709 7 лет назад

      Blair Williams it won't be it'll depreciate like every other 4 seat ferrari . the 456 can now be bought for the price of a mid range 5 series. if anything this may depreciate more purely down to that complex 4 wheel drive system
      when that develops faults how much to repair or replace it? nah I think this ferrari will very quickly be consigned to history books and be forgotten about .

  • @PorscheSweden
    @PorscheSweden 11 лет назад

    The Ferrari FF was built to extend Ferrari's sales, the head managers at Ferrari wanted to build a car that could be driven all year arround, basically to fill out the empty gap that was created for Ferrari owners who bought different cars for the winter, like the Cayenne for example. A really good idea, and this car is brilliant.

  • @dragoonuvl

    I need to experience the maximum performance of a car because it is when I am taking a great car on a difficult road or track that I truly begin to discover the many small and intricate things about it's character, design, benefits, and flaws. That never show during average sane driving to the store or highway. If a car can keep me intertained with new dimensions about it's character everytime I take it out for a drive on one of my roads then I'm happy. But happiness is different to everyone.

    • @yourfaveshopper
      @yourfaveshopper 8 лет назад +1

      +Alexander Cecile It uses the V12 Ferrari engine, similar, but not the same. It's closer to the 599 gtb than it is to the f12. Basicly different pistons, different head (induction, valves, valve system (in the case of the tdf) basically the whole engine, the only similarities are in paper values, same 6.3 and 12 cylinders, that's it.

    If i misunderstood himand he meant collectors, then alright - but to be honest why would you need to experience the max performance of a car? I drove with my R8 and GT-R once as fast as it could, it was fund, i dont need the need to do it again, and i was never a fan of racing to be honest - so it doesnt matter at all to me if a sportscar will ever get to its limit or not - the only important thing is that its enjoyable to the person who bought it - even if its a guy who gets groceries with it.

  • @mieguistumas

    I think what that guy means is that a car like the ferrari FF has so much sporting potential, that for the average joe it is almost impossible to reach it's limit. I agree with you that you can throw a car around, but you will never use the car to it's full ability like a professional race car driver will.

      DanieI Joseph The whole point of this test was to look at Ferrari from a different perspective. Yes Ferrari's are very much about performance, but this particular Ferrari has brought something new to the table and that's everyday usability and practicality, along with all that 'speed'.
