I love Top gear etc, I love the way they shoot it, Clarkson makes me laugh but in this video I like to listen to this guy, he knows what he is talking about, he has a passion for the car and its all about the car rather than his ego. I can also hear the lovely notes of the engine rather than fast edits to flashes of bonnet reflections or a brake caliper. Nicely done. Subbed.
The diaries from Harry and the test drives with Chris Harris are probably the best car video's on youtube. They definitely should do a lot more of these videos!
Another fantastic video. As I stated in another comment, I've subscribed to evo for years, but these videos add a lot to the magazine. Your words really are superb and like you say, there's nothing quite like a V12 Ferrari. I like my tuned cars so I can achieve the acceleration of a supercar but the noise and driving experience a supercar gives you can't be replicated by normal cars and that's why I love them. Keep the videos coming so I can keep dreaming. :-)
The guy who made the bespoke order really had a sense of style. I first saw it blue and thought "what on earth have you done to it", but as Harry zoomed in around the details I was amazed
Wow, I didn't know those things even existed! I knew someone had a special F12 sypder-type car made, but I didn't know these roof off 599s were made. That thing is gorgeous.
Been to florence once, and your friend really seems to have a beautiful house in an absolutely beautiful environment. I just love it there.. And to think he tops it off with an SA aperta..
The ONLY thing I think is a real shame about Ferrari these days is that there is NO possibility of ever ordering a car with the traditional gated manual transmission. Ferrari states that only ten percent of their clients want a gated transmission, so that would be 1,250 cars or so with that spec. It obviously does not make good business sense to cater to that clientele. A real shame. I still cannot get used to the F1 paddle shifts and will always prefer the gated manual transmission. Another wonderful video from Harry and Evo. Mille Grazie!
Watched this video over 20 times and still adore it. Bothe the stunner 550 Barchetta AND the best 599 variant IMO the Super America Aperta! Front engine RWD F cars are my absolute favorite, especially 550 and 599
Thanks Harry, yet another brilliant video that gives us dreamers an insight into what it would be like to own one of these cars. If I win the lottery I'll get in touch and you can have a go in all the cars i buy. LOL
You're so right about them being the special cars! If I had the money I'd buy a 575 superamerica, the sa aperta, and a speciale aperta. The drop tops are more exclusive, and I would love the top down to hear the engine!
That's something special indeed! In my opinion a true Ferrari, not a production, comporised, fit for everybody type of Ferrari. Don't get me wrong by the way, I like the 458,but I love this car!
@AntoniusTyas You are correct, it is the 599XX and not the GTO, but he said faster than "any current Ferrari." He didn't say "road legal." Even so, the GTO is undoubtedly quicker than the MP4.
I have loved cars all my life but i have just recently gotten my permit. I have been playing driving simulators and stuff like that but now more than ever i would do anything just to hop in that Aperta and drive its wheels off!
@WarpedHorizon yes high end brands like Ferrari, Maserati, Porsche, Bentley, Rolls Royce they all allow you to do anything within certain brand limits.
I still say the 575 SuperAmerica is the best modern special edition convertable Ferrari has ever made. The SA Aperta os only 3 on my list right behind the 550 Berchatta
@blackvapour The 599XX, not the GTO. Sorry. But yes, it is 26 full seconds faster, and the FXX is also technically a production car. And the GTO is most assuredly faster than the MP4, though as it was pointed out to me, it hasn't done an official lap yet.
I love Top gear etc, I love the way they shoot it, Clarkson makes me laugh but in this video I like to listen to this guy, he knows what he is talking about, he has a passion for the car and its all about the car rather than his ego. Ugh, I remember when this video dropped; it made my damn month. What a brilliant machine. I'm so happy Harry is still doing his thing.
Harry has his own channel now: 'Harry's Garage'. Worth a look.
What a beautiful car.
Harry is fantastic with these cars.
i could listen to this guy all day, genuine passion and so informative great stuff.

Still coming back to this beautiful vlog! Quite surprised that this was shot almost a decade ago! That Ferrari is beautifully specced indeed..
One of the best reviewers we have here on youtube !
I've lost count of the number of times I've watched this video. Perfection.
Holy moly, that exhaust sound is up there with the greatest ever.
Just discovered the evotv channel. it,s absolutely brilliant just like the evo magazine. keep it up.

I love these Evo's diaries reviews...amazing
Theres one of the 80 SAs just near me, absolutely beautiful machine. The 599 is just a timeless legendary Ferrari.

Mille Grazie!
This guy actually makes very good reviews, and hes just ... nice ... Still, in that spec, such a awesome car.
this is one of the nicest 599s ive ever seen
Around 2:05-2:08 there's a man moving into your lane! scared me for a second.
2:08 almost crashed...
No signal to be fair
nice panerai watch!
great video, i was glued to it the whole time
this car is pure art
599 Aperta as a car model is amazingly beautiful and with this color scheme it is just one of the best looking modern super cars.
Your 550 Barchetta is superb , the colour scheme chosen for the interior/exterior is classy and tasteful.
The car is absolutely stunning in every aspect

Love these videos. Thanks Harry for another great one!
Extremely good. Everyone who picks a red ferrari has taste, but this is set up with an eye for detail. Very, very original and cool.
This and the SLR Stirling Moss are the 2 cars I want most for a sunny day... I can't really think of anything better.
god I love these vids, proper passion shared with us poorer folks
Really nice interior. Elegant choice on the gloss black accents.
Harry, you're a hero.
Welcome to driving in Italy! :)
Thanks Harry, yet another brilliant video that gives us dreamers an insight into what it would be like to own one of these cars. If I win the lottery I'll get in touch and you can have a go in all the cars i buy. LOL
the noise at 8:05 !! wow that is awesome
That car is Absolutely Beautiful. They are Definately living the dream.
Green with envy!
a beautifully optioned car. I love it.
i love the 599 and i think the f12 will be even more amazing. ferraris have evolved so much.
You're so right about them being the special cars! If I had the money I'd buy a 575 superamerica, the sa aperta, and a speciale aperta. The drop tops are more exclusive, and I would love the top down to hear the engine!
2:06 Typical Italian driving...scary!
Love Harry's culture for motors. I think I love this car. I think I love Evo. I think Harry could be the perfect brother for me.
nice review harry keep them coming
Missed a few exterior shots - Nice Ferrari, good vid ;)
those seats are gorgeous
Dude how rich are you? You own damn near everything.
Two great Ferraris and a very nice Panerai.
Great video.
The 550 is more beautiful and the 599 just sounds wonderful. And you have both. Wow.
That is one priceless video.
This is awesome. Would you mind telling me what camera you are using? It's superb?
Go pro?
10/10 would give my new ferrari to Harry just to hear him talk so passionate about it.
great vid harry like always.does anyone know does he still have the clio trophy?
That's something special indeed! In my opinion a true Ferrari, not a production, comporised, fit for everybody type of Ferrari. Don't get me wrong by the way, I like the 458,but I love this car!
I like the way Harry loves his car
Nice Panerai, Harry. Dammit, not only does he have sick cars, he's got sick watches too.
Nice work Harry!
EVO tv, come on Harry, you know it makes sense. Legend!
@AntoniusTyas You are correct, it is the 599XX and not the GTO, but he said faster than "any current Ferrari." He didn't say "road legal." Even so, the GTO is undoubtedly quicker than the MP4.
@TheCruizer it does have the GTO noise and exhaust pipes and diffuser... and the GTO-style rear wing...
it looks stunning
broda you know how to do it.. great video.... keep shoting
Nice review Harry!
absolutely fantastic!
I have loved cars all my life but i have just recently gotten my permit. I have been playing driving simulators and stuff like that but now more than ever i would do anything just to hop in that Aperta and drive its wheels off!
brutal sound , i love it
is there a break in schedule for new ferrari's?
Awesome review/vlog
Your the salt of the earth Harry, shame there's not more people like you on this earth.
Nice panerai watch and the ferrari is really nice.
totally agree ,rare and WIDE !!!
@WarpedHorizon yes high end brands like Ferrari, Maserati, Porsche, Bentley, Rolls Royce they all allow you to do anything within certain brand limits.
Great video
is there not a run in period on these then?
What was the red ferrari at the start at the dealer?
You can see the smirk on harry's face first thing in the morning - on days like these.... on days like these.
I like the sunglasses as much as the car. Does anybody know what make and model they are?
@SHates it's gonna be pretty hard (and very expensive) to get one. only 80 built. there are going to be MASSIVE markeups on the used ones.
that aperta is a BOSS
Oh i've come to get the Aperta. Wow.... so cool .... so cooollll
He has the most badass job in the world ever!!!
there is nothing quite like the sound of a Ferrari V12 :)
Exactly.. a plain only hour and minute Panerai is class, isn't it?! Great taste options from the Ferrari owner!
Good review.. Awesome car!
So much more technical than Top Gear reviews.....this is what car TV program should be.
Right... so how long before Harry get's one? I get the feeling he's thinking it over at the end there :P
this guys awesome
is the silver ferrari yours?
I still say the 575 SuperAmerica is the best modern special edition convertable Ferrari has ever made. The SA Aperta os only 3 on my list right behind the 550 Berchatta

How many times can I watch this video in a day? Let's find out...
The man's got taste!
Beautiful Pam, Harry.
You sir, are a very lucky boy!
Love the panerai marina too.
thank you.

What was the darker colour?
Thai tinium?
the engine sound is so cool~~~ sounds like driving a F1
At first I thought he's 2nd Clarkson, but oh, no!!! Harry is definitely more professional and is pure car enthusiast, petrolhead! Keep on going!
